I asked for service needed to complete a carryout order that I could hike down to see my dad in Kentucky so I needed something fairly right away and something that could be toted that far. They offered a beef kit and asked me if I wanted bread to go along with that. Luckily my dad has a nice tasting bread so I declined the bread, but I gotta tell you, it was like catering my own party. So I made sure we had both hot and sweet peppers. I paid much more than both my dad and myself needed, but the food was great. They sold me a generous Marconi jar of giardinaire peppers and then I bolted out and wished them happy new year aling the way. They got me out fast and had everything packaged in less than the time it takes to wait for a sandwich. Go Portillos! You rock!!!“
“Last time I had sushi was well over 15 years ago. Times change, appetite, and eating habits change so here I am. My wife enjoys sushi and has been here a few times and enjoys their rolls. I do enjoy food in the teriyaki family and I get this fix at a few other restaurants in town. The interior of the restaurant is inviting and it was strange being back in the former Peapod restaurant location. We ordered the crab ragoon, gyoza, chicken teriyaki roll, scorpion roll, Godzilla roll, and the beef teriyaki entree. Both appetizers were good but pretty standard. I tried a few rolls and it's still not for me. I believe the seaweed wrap is what I don't like. The filling is good though. My wife enjoyed every bite of it. The beef teriyaki comes with salad, rice, and miso soup. I don't particularly like miso soup but this one was slightly different in a good way. I enjoyed the simple salad as well. Now when I ordered the beef I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked which is not unusual. When I received the beef it was too blue in my opinion. I'll eat beef anyway outside of raw but typically I like my beef medium. The sauce and vegetables were good and I still ate the beef. For drinks I stuck with water but my wife had a mango smoothie that was quite tasty. The employees were attentive and definitely hustling so I appreciate that. I would go back and get the chicken teriyaki (hopefully it's not pink) and let my wife enjoy the sushi rolls. 4 stars because everyone I know that has come here for the sushi raves about it.“

We did appetizers of course. The Baked Feta was a huge hit as well as the Saganaki of course. We ordered Greek Salad for each table and our guests ordered off the menu. I’m sure it was a challenge for the kitchen but they handled it very well and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had one server, who’s name I did not get, (may fault). She was awesome! I asked for a Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi, whichever they have and she told me they have "Mexican Coke" what the hell is that?! I had to get up and go ask someone if she was still there! The guy I asked said she was still there and he would send her back and even then she took a bit to come back to the table. The place wasn't even crowded. Anyway, Kate finally comes and takes our to go order, since we wanted to take some food home too. Comes back with the to go food and checks, there were three of us and she brought three separate checks, great! Well we tipped according to what we felt she deserved (even then, she actually got more than what she deserved). Also by the way, anytime we go out to eat, we are VERY generous tippers, but do tip accordingly.I go to the washroom and come back and she was at the table talking to my sister and when I walked up, I heard her saying, she left me 10% and you left me 18% and she left me 15% and I just wanna know why? Was there something wrong with my service? She was legit upset! I said to her wait, you're actually questioning your tip? She kept saying that she wanted to know if there was something wrong with the service, but she knows what she was doing. I honestly never in my life have ever had anyone do something like this, I was shocked! Not to mention there were other people sitting around and she was pointing at each of us telling us what we gave her for a tip! It was the most absurd thing! The audacity!So she finally walks away and I go ask for the manager, who happened to be the guy that I asked if she was still there. His name was Sam and he was very nice and very apologetic, he said he was embarrassed and that he would let the owner know. I sure hope he did because employees like this (speaking of employees like that, there were a couple of them behind the deli counter giving us some of the hardest looks, they must be friends!) are going to drive away customers! “This was our first visit to this restaurant. My Mom and I stopped to have a nice lunch and afterviewing the photos on the website I decided to try the French onion soup and the pot pie. My Mom ordered the egg plant Parmesan and a cup of French onion soup as well. Our food was delicious! The chicken pot pie had a very nice flavored sauce, it had white chicken meat and it was huge. The baked French onion soup was so good! I could have ate a whole pot of it. The atmosphere was very classy yet it had a relaxed feel to it. It would be a great place for a pre- wedding dinner, anniversary dinner birthday lunch/dinner or just for a nice meal. They have a full bar and gambling machines . The waiter was pleasant and on task. Overall, we both decided we will go back. I wish it had a little bit more flavor but it was fine. Their garlic knots were interesting, not your typical garlic knot. They were tossed in garlic sauce and cheese, and they weren't bad either.
