“I love coming in for celiac friendly treats. Picked up 11 lemon cookies for a friends bday. It was $40 unfortunately I won’t can’t afford that all the time. Why does gluten free items have to be so expensive? Also could use a bit more lemon for that price. Still 5 ⭐️ but I wanted to share a couple suggestions.“

“Love stopping here for gluten-free/dairy-free treats ? Service is always great + the desserts are so rich + full of flavor. Highly recommend the matcha bar + the tiramisu if you like chocolate. I have celiac disease and it can be a challenge to find gluten-free desserts that aren’t highly processed. Love this place! ??“

“We recently went to Cakes by Kash for our gender reveal cake! It was such a pleasure working with Lindsey and she made the process fun and easy. My husband and I were able to pick out flavors and everything turned out to be delicious! We will definitely be back for our next cake!“

“Super cute and cozy bakery in downtown Wauconda. The chai latte was perfect and the blueberry scone was fresh. I like the homey atmosphere and that you can see the bakery operations in back. Everything is clean and organized.Parking: Easy street parking (free) or park in the spaces across the street just off the alley.“

“Moved to town about a year ago and this has become my go to bakery. The staff is welcoming and quick to help customers. I enjoy the combination danish, sprinkled donuts, and cookies, but with reasonable prices and so many wonderful options it is usually very difficult to choose.“

“Been going to this bakery since moving to McHenry this past April, we’ve only ever gotten donuts and more specialized desert treats but my boyfriend got my birthday cake there in July either vanilla or marble - it was SO good and I’m not a big cake person.. well the other day I decided to purchase his birthday cake there - got a chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting… best cake I’ve ever had. And I’m not big on chocolate cake either. Everyone loved it, and thank god we still have a piece left over ? wonderful customer service and pricing too!“

They used to hang up my mothers art, I know they choose their displays very intentionally and when I heard my mom's excitement about her photography on display here I knew I had to come. “Who doesn't love bakeries? Not only do they have the tastiest baked goods, but their staff is always outgoing and friendly. Donuts, coffee cake, bread, what have you, I've never been disappointed. My favorite: apricot coffee cake and their apple bread. My dog's favorite: old fashioned donut (he sits outside and howls while I'm inside. Just don't want him to know there are other choices than plain donuts). This is one of the reasons that makes McHenry a great place to live!“

“Shop is just few steps east of the train tracks, and easy to miss. It's very small inside with only a couple of parking spaces in front most of the time. My GSD was having a birthday so I stopped in to see what I could get. Talked to the owner a bit (she's quite the conversationalist) and ordered a doggie cake. Took about 4 days to get the cake. I also got some Christmas cookies for grandkids. Had a little party for Heidi, put the cake on the floor and she gave it lick, looked up and proceeded to down the whole thing. Happy camper. And the kids liked the cookies mucho, too. Only caveats about this shop is its hours. I guess the owner/baker also works in real estate and hours the shop is actually open can be hit or miss. Call before you go! Bottom line is her baked goods are as good as advertised. Highly recommended for both dogs and humans.“
