What a find!! This is not your local joint on the corner even though it has all the wonderful qualities of the local joint on the corner. The place has character, characters, and a northern Wisconsin resort atmosphere. When I googled restaurants in Wauconda, the menu immediately intrigued me. Nice place, right next to Slyce, another favorite. The cocktails were surprisingly yummy. I am not a beer drinker and was impressed by their ability to produce a cocktail that tasted like a pina colada w/out all the fuss. The tater tots and food were also yum. Unfortunately, I did not feel well the following day due to a different meal I had. I very much look forward to going back when I'm in the mood for comfort food.
