Loved SLYCE Pizza. My wife and I are big fans of coal-fired pizza. Where I'm from in the NYC tri-state area, the best Italian food is in neighborhood family tavern restaurants and those thin crust tavern pies are cooked in super hot ovens. SLYCE brings it all back. Quality ingredients, great suggested combinations, good service and pleasant ambience. There's a lot of pizza choices in Chicagoland and we drive 25 minutes to SLYCE. There must be at least 100 pizza joints in the 25 mile radius. I'll take SLYCE. Keep up the great work!

Great food. Love #13 pizza(not your typical pizza combination)the appetizer wings are awesome too. Never a bad meal!Parking: Parking lot is limited but up the street there is street parking. Municipal lot is further walk.

Our server was a young man named Chris He was polite, courteous and attentive. The food was delicious as always and I discovered my new favorite pizza; Margarita pizza. The lemon basil wings were equally delicious, cooked to perfection, meaty and tender. Never a bad meal at Slyce

Best pizza around. Plus we were able to take advantage of their special for restaurant week. Sicilian salad, garlic Parmesan wings, pizza of choice, and cannolis for dessert, all for $55! Delicious!!

Our dinner experience was terrific! Great food, great service and great value. We had the Dinner for2 Special. The garlic parm wings were outstanding. Salad was great and the pizza - fig with balsamic vinegar was such a surprising delight! We loved the cannoli's, which were superb.

Only place around for coal-fired Pizza. Made a reservation through OpenTable. Could only make a reservation for 4:30 no other times available. Arrived and the restaurant was half full for the entire time we were there. Would like to have made a reservation for 6:00 or 6:30 but could not do that through OpenTable.
It is a bit too dark in there. I have never had a staff member, seemingly management (at any restaurant) pretty much ask us to leave because they needed the table. We had already requested our check and we did have early reservations. My friend and I haven't seen each other in years and were enjoying eachothers company. That was poor planning and in my opinion, tactless. This was my second time there, and the first time I was with a man, we stayed longer during peak dinner hours & were not asked to leave. The food was great, service was good otherwise, but not sure I will be returning.

We enjoy the ambiance and the pizza. If the pizza is fully cooked, it's our favorite. Especially their #8 pizza. When they aren't fully cooked, well meh.
Slyce has been one of our family favorites for years. We moved away a few years ago & I take every chance when back to get a #13!!!!
