“My friend who is Jewish wanted to try Honduran food for the first time, we drove an hour to this restaurant. The entrance is the same door as the Red Iguana, towards the right door. It was clean and though it was slow, the food quality did not disappoint. This is an authentic Honduran flavor (I am from Honduras) and the servings are very good for their price. I also bought fresh cheese and sour cream, 100% recommended. My friend's favorite was pollo chuco but we also tried yuca Frita, baleadas and enchiladas, their refried beans are delicious. Waters were fresh. Excellent place!!”

“After a few hours at Volo Auto Museum we decided to explore the area and head over to the lake. Driving through Waukegan, we stopped into Papa Marcos Grill and Kabob.\n\nWhat a gem. We stepped up near the counter to read the menu and soon enough it was our turn to order. We started chatting with the owner's wife and she is so nice and so friendly. Offered recommendations and we settled on our choices. Fried mushrooms to start and I ordered the Vegetarian plate, with Falafel, rice stuffed grape leaves and rice. Mr. Bee had the lamb plate. The mushrooms were amazing, nice and crunchy without being greasy. Both of us loved our plates and the fresh naan bread. Our lunch even came with two small pieces of Baklava that was perfect. The best Baklava we ever had was actually in Greece and this one was right up there with it.\n\nThe food is fresh and light and delicious. From the front of the restaurant you don't expect much, but once inside you feel if you are stepping into Greece with excellent Mediterranean food.\n\nWhat a treasure!”

What really keeps me coming back, aside from the amazing food, is the environment and the staff. Whether I go in for a casual dinner, to catch up with friends, for a business meeting, or even a work-related dinner, I always feel welcomed and comfortable. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and perfect for any occasion.

I especially want to highlight two of the waitresses who always go above and beyond – Roshell and Gabby. They’re both incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, always making sure everything is perfect and that I have everything I need without even having to ask. Their service truly makes each visit special.

Then man the line was moving a bit too slow for my impatient self so I’m like man just go out and blaze one of these cones so I go out get blaaaaaaasted in like 5mins cause these were mini rolls then went back in and was looking at that menu and it was good man. So my turn to order I get the Tristian or whatever it’s the pesto pizza and I’m like yeah why not throw arugula on top after it’s done so they did it for me and then we got some cool looking sodas at the cash register. Wasn’t a long wait or a bad price at all we just chilled in the lobby there weren’t too many people in there anyway. Finally got my pizza and I could tell by the first bite it was going to be delicious. So I ate the whole thing happy as hell the entire time then I’m like dang bro I gotta get one to go so I got the same pizza only this time another gentleman made it and he was asking me what spice and whatever so I told him to just hook it up and then we just left but something came over me in the car and I just had to take a peak of the pizza. So I ended up eating the whole thing before I even got home haha my family was piiiissed showing up with an empty pizza box. Oh and they gave me a coloring sheet and crayon so I could draw and they said they liked my coloring.
