A 1st timer to this specific Marriott Hotel. Stayed here from March 12-15, 2024, to attend a Navy Boot Camp Graduation ceremony. Great service at the Front Desk! Room was a little smaller than expected even with a King Size Bed in there. Sink water was hecka murky for some odd reason! And the water itself was so slow coming out of the faucet and shower! The Cable TV didn't have that many channels on it at all. Didn't get a chance to go to the Fitness Center or Pool during the stay. Maybe next time if around the area. A lot of different places to eat at, however, most of the sit-down restaurants are pricey and portions are small. Fast food joints like Raising Cane's is there, a Hibachi Buffet and others. And stores such as Walmart, Marshalls and Target are around the hotel, too. The Gurnee Outlet Mall is nearby as well...

My favorite is the meatballs...but all of the food is very good. Good drink menu and the normal beers most want...Service is great...friendly staff, especially Catina and Molly...

I travel quite a bit and almost exclusively stay at Marriott properties. The staff at this property delineates itself for two reasons: the first, many of them have been working there many years which is refreshing. The second is this experienced staff's dedication to customer service. The staff is visibly committed to make their guests happy and it shows I'd recommend this property to anyone visiting that area, especially for the Navy basic training graduation.

Great food but a bit pricey which is expected from a hotel. Server was very nice and food was perfect. We order late around 8 pm and it took a bit to be ready but the taste and presentation was nice

Friendly and efficient staff. They were able to help me with my order. You can charge to the room or just to your card. They have a decent variety of options. The parfaits are great and they have plenty of other plated food options. It's also a bar so if you're feeling an evening, or daytime drink you can stop by it's pretty much fully stocked from the looks of it. It's located inside of the Marriot Courtyard.

The best staff! Erin at the front desk has top notch customer service and Molly at the restaurant treated everyone so well. If we had another reason to go to Waukegan, we would love to stay again!

Typical Marriott Courtyard, we got an upgrade to the suite which had an extra living room and wet bar area, guess it pays to be a Titanium Elite. Typical Marriott decor and furniture, comfy bed and beddings. Located in northern Chicago, but an easy 45-60 minute drive to downtown Chicago.

Such an accommodating hotel for our gymnastics team this weekend! All staff were extremely friendly, the lobby was a very comfortable meeting space for us all, and the girls enjoyed the pool. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Courtyard while in the area for hockey games. Easy fast check in process. Hotel clean and organized. Staff welcoming and available to answer questions and make our stay extra special.

My elderly father and husband and I stayed here Thursday through Saturday for my son's boot camp graduation. The staff was very kind and accommodating. They give you a handout on where to get your graduation ticket, nearby restaurants, and things to do while in town. They were able to give us two adjoining rooms on the first floor and let us keep their wheelchair for my dad (as he doesn't get around very well) throughout our stay. There is a shuttle that takes guests to graduation at 0600 and 0630. The breakfast there is delicious and the portions huge! I had a breakfast burrito and couldn't even finish half of it. The location is great. Walmart , as well as several restaurants are within walking distance. The only reason for giving them four stars was that the rooms have a stale musty odor and the beds were lumpy. I was never able to get comfortable trying to get some sleep. Those are my complaints. I would definitely stay here again but hope they will address these issues.

Bed is lumpy not a fan of shitty beds number 1!!!! Number 2 there is no one here but they put someone right next to me so every night I have to hear his TV and in the morning while Im trying to sleep, really!!!!!! Not impressed with this hotel be the last time I stay here

I generally stay at the Courtyard when I am in Munich. This restaurant.bar straddles the Courtyard and the Residence Inn and really seems to be an afterthought for management. The food is ok, but overpriced. The service is friendly but unreliable, There are too many other places within a short walk to "settle" on this place.

We stayed here for my son's Navy Graduation. The location was perfect ! Close to base and lots of restaurant and shopping options very close as well. The staff at the hotel were so nice and wanted to help in any way they could. We were so impressed with the kind and professional staff we met throughout our stay. The bistro in lobby was perfect for early morning coffee or a drink in the evening . They had a variety of food options as well but we never ate there but did stop in for coffee or a drink each day. The rooms were average but clean. We enjoyed our stay.
