When I visited La Perla Tapatia Bakery, I was reminded of the times when my grandmother sent me to panaderias to bring back bolillos and conchas. While grabbing some Hispanic food in the area I decided to stop by this bakery and grab some goodies. The bakery was huge and had such a large selection of pastries! It was honestly a bit overwhelming to choose. I'm not sure I got the best items but I tried to get an assortment for the family. I love pastries... and as along as I have lived in the area, have walked around the area, I have never set foot into this little gem of a bakery. I needed to get a birthday cake for my nephew's birthday and I didn't want to go to the big box grocery store around my house. The hubby suggested that we go here to pick up a cake.
