“Been wanting to try Blazing Trails Texas BBQ for awhile now and finally got to get out there. Let's start with all the good. The prices are on point. It has been the best Q I've had in southern Illinois other than mine. ( I'm kinda biased) the sauce was great all the meat was good when I was all I did order all the meat. Only did 2 sides apple slaw was good. The smoke Mac and cheese had good flavor but noodles a little over cooked for myself. The bad They are only open 2 days a week to start. Then and it's hard to keep turkey moist but it was good. So I would recommend great atmosphere great people and good food.“

“I’m not the best at pictures lol but we got 2lbs of Brisket today, as well as a brisket sandwhich(didn’t get a pic of that) and a pulled pork sandwich from Dave's BBQ & Smokehouse. Delicious as always! My husband and I have tried tons of bbq places and Dave’s has spoiled us. Some of the bbq we’ve tried other places is good but we always say it’s not Dave’s! We had them cater our wedding and everyone LOVED the pulled pork! I love their Mac and cheese, banana pudding, pulled pork, sloppy pig, brisket and ribs! I wish they weren’t just a food truck because their food is our favorite!“

“Hands down the best cheese burger I’ve had in a minute. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries. Also order nacho cheese to dip my fries. I would have gave five stars but my Pepsi drink was flat and not carbonated . All you can taste was the syrup.“

“Their burgers and bbq are delicious! They have a ton of sides to choose from and you get 3 with a meal! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. We also had great service and didn’t wait long for food at all (and there were 6 of us).“

“Very much a friendly small town restaurant with a good sized menu reminiscent of southern blue plate. Special meat in three restaurants with things like barbecue, chicken and dumplings, daily specials, pies of the day. Very friendly and accommodating weight staff, caters to local clientele. Great and quick drive-thru as well for all of their menu items. I highly recommend it. Seating area is not large but adequate.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly!“

“The staff recommended the fish on Friday night. It was ok, not a lot of flavor. Also had a double cheese burger. The bun was delicious, like home made. Burger wasn't very flavorful and a bit greasy. I wish we had tried more of their home made sides. We were just passing through so if you stop, be sure to ask for their specialties.“
