While the food was delicious and the overall ambiance and decor of the restaurant was cozy, it was our server that made this dining experience over the top, great! HECTOR, you are a gem, a diamond! You have an absolutely charming personality and made my mother in law’s birthday dinner an experience to remember! From your spot on suggestions, to your lovely rendition of “Happy Birthday”, to the funny banter, our whole family left talking about how wonderful you were! We will be back and we will be sure to come when you are serving! Thank you Hector!!!”

“Awesome experience. I came here with my friends between our game for some food because if we didn't we would eat each other. The staff were super kind with us making our food for us. But mainly the food was amazing and extremely well done. I would recommend this specific location to everyone I know if their in the area.”

“Drove from des Plaines to western springs to try this place because I was craving a snowcone/raspado was very happy to see walk up window so I was able to bring my dog and the piña colada flavor was delicious! Will definitely go back!”

“Oberweis is a staple in downtown Western Springs and truly a family favorite! The staff is always so kind, patient, and quick with orders. In particular, Alexis, who always has a smile on her face. She has helped me with ice cream rewards for the school, and is always willing to answer any questions. Her customer service is excellent and it is very much appreciated. Thanks, Alexis!!”

“Beware this place may become addictive for donut lovers. I think once you visit you will be visiting again for sure! I stopped by to grab just a couple donuts but ended up buying a dozen and a half. I couldn't decide what flavor donuts to buy so I bought three flavored donut including maple/bacon, snickers, blueberry dream and plain. They are mini sized donuts that are made fresh in shop. I also bought a large cold brew with milk which had a good flavor. The lady that helped me was very patient while waiting for me to decide on which donuts to buy. The atmosphere is friendly and seems to be popular with a lot of local people. I will be back for sure! I want to try a few more of the flavored donuts. There is a place to sit outside and a walk up window for a quick stop and shop. They apparently have a lunch as well which includes a hot dog, chips drink and donuts (see menu board photo). Overall, this little donut shop is a great addition to the shopping area near the train stop and for locals.”

“Out of all the Starbucks I’ve been to and I been to many over the years . This is my go to every day and I must say a few times a day , no joke. The staff here starting with the manager and all her Baristas are the best crew I’ve ever done business with. They know myself and family by name and it’s just a great feeling to walk in here every day and get to speak to with the best crew out there . I honestly wouldn’t write it if I didn’t mean it. I live by midway and drive to Lagrange daily just for coffee even if I don’t have nothing to do that way. Some may say the coffee is the same at each Starbucks, I beg to differ , because it’s not. I been coming here for the last 5 years and never had a problem . This is one busy location but they got it under control and the staff makes it a comfortable place of business to want to come back over and over .”

“Classic bakery with delicious baked goods. The tea cookies are a MUST! Order at least one pound. You won't regret it.Parking: Parking along both sides of the street is typically available.Kid-friendliness: A delight for kids to see all of the imaginative baked goods. Today there was a loaf of white bread that looked like an alligator!”

“I work at Lyons Township High School right across the street! I treated my coworker for her birthday. We ordered the Deluxe Skillet and a BLT Wrap, order was ready at the specified time.., friendly greeting when I arrived. Everything was really good, my BLT wrap was loaded with bacon! It came with a soup and a side I chooses frost fruit.”

“This Starbucks always seems to have samples of new drinks when I’m there. It’s great that they share these samples as I’m not quite sure about them, and yesterday I learned I like the lavender oatmilk latte.”

“Wonderfully decorated cupcakes, friendly staff and sweet ambiance. I had to add some additional cupcakes to a large order the very next day after pickup and they were happy to accommodate me. Despite them not being the closest to me geographically, I will be going forward with Smallcakes of Western Springs for my cupcake needs :)”

“The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. No complaints at all. The menu is very large, but everyone still seemed to be happy with what they got. Unfortunately it's a bit far from us, but whenever I'm in the area, I'd be happy to visit again.”

“Good all around restaurant. Mainly a to Jo joint. They have tables, but not waiters. If you buy the food, you can eat it there. Not in a typical restaurant design however.Wheelchair accessibility: Not the most room to maneuver a chair. I'd recommend sending someone to get your food.”

“Love this place. The traditional pizza is amazing if you like thicker crust. Service is always awesome. Check on you often to see if you need anything. We had the nacho fries for an appetizer and tasted so good!! This is our go to place for going out for pizza!! Keep up the great job!”

“So many delicious flavors, it was hard to pick. Our family of four enjoyed our different choices. It's a beautiful ambiance for the beginning of summer with indoor and outside space. Staff was very friendly and helpful in helping us decide which flavors to try. Def recommend and we'll be back to try new flavors!”

“Epic, memorable lunch. We ordered steaks, and they were perfectly prepared and grilled. The strip steak was a perfect medium as requested, and my filet mignon was a delicious medium rare. No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.”

“Gene and Jude's is my preferred destination for Vienna hotdogs. I typically opt for mine plain with a double dog, and it consistently meets the expectations of both myself and my family. I've also tried their tamales, which are of high quality. The popularity of this establishment is evident from the long lines often seen outside. The employees are courteous and welcoming. I highly recommend this establishment and believe you will enjoy it as well.”

“This place is a total experience! The food is delicious, the decor is artsy and beautiful, and the owners are absolute gems. my family and I went for the first time yesterday and had the BEST time. we came for some quick pierogi but stayed for the ambiance, warm welcome, and fantastic conversation with the owners. This cafe is charming beyond belief and we will definitely be back. This is the perfect place to stop in with some friends or loved ones when you are out and about in the neighborhood. I guarantee you will want to come back again and again.”

“Absolutely incredible place!! It's definitely the best sushi and Thai on the north side of Chicago. We usually go to Hot Wok Cool Sushi or other places further into the city. -Not after today! This place was fantastic. The service was great - they were so friendly. And the food and presentation was phenomenal. It blew away any place that we went to before. It's the first place that all 4 members of my family agreed was awesome. We will definitely be back soon!”

“Charming little ice cream place. Kids thought the ice cream was great, and there are non dairy options. One person in our group ordered coffee that was forgotten, and when she checked back with the cashier, the cashier asked to see a receipt for proof, I guess.”

“Also my go to when I'm near this area. One of the best steak sammys in Chicago. Fresh cut fries are amazing. Mom n pop and son shop always supurb. Tomatoes and onions used are always fresh n plenty.”

“I had the pork chop cooked medium well with broccolini. The chop was moist and flavorful with an apple/raisin sauce. Very good. Broccolini was fresh and crisp. I also had the Red Head cocktail; much like a Cosmopolitan. Very good with just enough vodka. Topped it off with brownie sundae. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended.”

“Purchased 4 dozen mini donuts for my son’s 40th Birthday party yesterday. My absolute favorites were the Banana Nutella, Glazed, Powered Sugar and Turtle mini donuts. I wanted an alternative to Cake and these were spot on! The staff is so accommodating, super nice, helpful and the donuts were super fresh. There wasn’t a single one left. I highly recommend it especially if you are having a party!”

“We each got a veggie lunch special . I had the tofu in a red sauce it was best i literally ever had . The price was more than fair for the amount of food ! It was so well seasoned and cooked perfectly . The rice was so fluffy and amazing . I was also loving the crispy bread and dips as an appetizer that’s given before you order . Such a nice place to eat I highly recommend this place . Mild was mild it had just the right amount of spice . The hot was making my date sweat but he asked for hot and he got it lol Google and pre game the menu , if you are unsure what everything is incase you’re new to this type cuisine . But I assure you it will all taste good! Will definitely be back again !”

“I lived to Justice in 1977 and discovered Weber's Bakery. I was a young manager and felt it important to have coffee cake and coffee at my team meetings. I've lived in the Beverly community for decades and been retired for five years. However, I still travel to Weber's for their Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake, Chocolate Cake donuts and the Banana Split Torte, I woke with Weber's on my mind so I'm about to make my run to get all three. I'll share with my neighbors because I can't eat all of that. It's a great day for all!”
