The food was great as always. The lady behind the counter definitely had a poor attitude. I asked a question regarding soup, to which she responded with a very snarky answer. Besides that I highly recommend a nice warm soup and a sandwich.

Consistently bad service.More so than pretty much any place I have ever been to. Everyone has a bad, I understand that, but it's not one person, it's every person, every time I have been there. I don't get how that's possible.

The staff was so incredibly sweet. I work in hospitality so I love good customer service and the four people I interacted with all were kind. I asked a question of one person and when he didn’t know the answer, he referred me to someone else who could answer it. The only problem I have is not necessarily with this location but maybe the company. This company has been my fave sandwich on the go spot for years. They have definitely cut down on the toppings (meat/cheese/lettuce/mayo). This is the fourth time (not all this location) that I felt like I was just eating a piece of over priced bread with some lettuce and a hint of turkey over the last few months. Today my “sandwich” was mostly lettuce and onions on multigrain. I asked for Turkey, swiss and mayo.

I generally drive to the Glen Ellyn location as I find the service and quality consistent.However, I went inside this location about 5pm today, October 19, and here's my experience:1. The person who greeted me wiped snot dripping from his nose with his shirt sleeve. 2. There were about four employees milling about doing nothing, with one lady waiting ahead of me at the register to pay for what seemed like a long time.3. As I waited for my sandwich to be prepped the young woman (with blonde hair) who I assumed was new and a young man (with dark curly hair) guiding her was joshing about. She asked me twice what my toppings were and then she kept asking him how to make the sandwich. The sign was behind her with all of the toppings and the toppings were in front of her. The process was taking far too long. The sign in store says eight-minute wait, I waited more like twenty minutes for a half sandwich and soup. When the young man gave me the soup, it was leaking out of the cup with the lid on. I asked him for another one and he just dumped the soup into another cup. The cup of soup was sitting by the register while they took a long time to prep my sandwich, meaning my soup was not hot when I ate it.Lastly, the young man who was assisting the young woman who filled my soup cup, also rang me up. He used the same gloves that he used to make the sandwich to accept my payment and bag my food and went back to fixing sandwiches. As you can see there were a couple of food safety issues and concerns as well as poor service. I wanted to share my experience because perhaps there was a training issue somewhere along the way. My sandwich was tasty, but my soup was cold.

They are by far the best place for a quick and great sandwich.I tried them on a whim and am now hooked on their veggie melt. Everything is fresh, and the service is excellent. It reminds me of the old deli style restaurants when I was a kid. The atmosphere is great.

My grandson had a BLTA for the 1st time today and said AMAZING! My granddaughter said her mac n cheese was delicious! Thank you so much for always providing fresh food that tastes delicious. Staff are very friendly and food made perfectly! Keep up the good work. We will be back again soon!

I ordered takeout from here through ActiveMenus. My order was perfect and ready for pickup right on time. I got an Italian sub sandwich and it was delicious!

We just ordered lunch from here and I don’t know if it’s changed management or what but it was absolutely disgusting. The order was incorrect, we were missing the cookies we ordered and had an extra Mac n cheese. The cookies for the kids were rock hard and old. The sandwiches were cold, slimy, covered in pepper, and inedible. So disappointed, won’t be back.

It's the best, Rice Lake location Wheaton IL , almost as good as the first location on Lincoln in Chicago. They're all good! It's a great, well run store, just having a hard time finding people like every other place. NEver had a bad samich here. The Place rules. All locations have the same excellent menu and serve best hot or cold Sandwiches and Salads in their category. Roosevelt road crew also stellar -in Glen Ellyn, IL. located at 552 Roosevelt Road just west of Main St.
