“Last weekend we went thru the drive thru. When we got home we had no chicken in the strawberry poppy salad. I called and Gus took care of us — it was too late in the evening to run back — Gus made a note and we went in the following weekend — Gus was there and made it right — replacing both salads. Thank you.“
“Each table seats 4. We dined in. They have take out as well. We were greeted right away by a friendly wait staff who helped us with some recommendations along with taking our order. everything we ordered was great I had the black garlic pork on the first page of the menu, one of the children had plain ramen with chicken broth and the other had a chicken ramen bowl. We all tried each others and we all agreed our own bowl was the best but they all were good. You can either make your own, à la carte and choose your ingredients or you can choose from pre-made with pictures which we did because it was our first time. we didn't have room for appetizers, but we will definitely be back to try them because they all look amazing. Everything was delicious and we had a fun time with lots of leftovers which they package up very cute and neat, they put the ramen noodles in a bowl and your broth separate so your noodles don't suck it all up by the time you eat it again.. saved it as a new favorite spot!! The kids were ecstatic and had an amazing time which is very hard to do with most restaurants. fun food for kids and great eats for adults. 10 out of 10 from the kids!“
“I've met my son there for lunch multiple times and we've always thoroughly enjoyed our choices. You can get almost any combination of ingredients on a grilled cheese sandwich that you could want, the soups are delicious, and the mack and cheese is awfully tasty. Highly recommend this “
“Home Run, got the 8 finger cavetelli with a couple meatballs on the side. Both were amazing, pasta cooked fresh tasted great, meat sauce was very meaty. The place was spotless, by far the cleanest restaurant I've gotten food from in a long time. You can tell the owner cares. I hope they continue making great food cause I'm gonna continue going here.“
“Most in our group had a wonderful meal...chicken sandwiches, and tuna poke bowl. Also flatbread appetizer and brownie dessert were wonderful. However my quinoa burger was not very good. First of all it fell apart when, after cutting in half, I tried to pick it up. And just not much flavor. Was disappointed in that. Other issue was that most everyone had a taste for pasta, and mac and cheese was the only pasta option.“
“I almost hate to recommend this place because it is so good that I don't want everyone to find out and go there and then me not be able to get a table! The food was EXCELLENT, definitely a hidden gem. The servers were all very kind and efficient. Prices were quite reasonable for the great quality (and quantity!). It's a small restaurant with table service which I believe is first come, first served, and they also have a large freezer with many types of food off their menu that you can make at home. Seemed like there were quite a few people doing carry out as well. It is a cute place with lots of ethnic decor. I had the stuffed cabbage with a side of pierogi and my husband had a big platter with sausage, etc. - all delicious. The potato pancakes were perfect! We will definitely be back!“
“First timer here and I will be back. Great service— perhaps due to time of day and it not being busy— but the servers were constantly asking/making sure I had enough side dishes and/or if I needed anything else.My meal came with refillable tea which was very nice. I got the bulgogi bento box and it was really delicious and worth the money for everything I got on my plate. I would love to try some of their other staple dishes as well. The vibe of the place was nice; they had k-pop music playing and a very clean aesthetic. I’ll def add this restaurant to my rotating list of staple places to eat at.“
“I have never had a bad meal from Gnarly. I have been going here for a few months now and I'm just obsessed. Do yourself a favor and check out the specials. Their barista is a freaking genius when it comes to their specialty drinks. I would eat here everyday if I could. If you love soft pretzels gnarly is the place to be.“
“Ramsay's Kitchen in Downtown Naperville is a culinary delight. The reservation process was smooth, ideal for our group of four. Every dish, coupled with fantastic drinks, was a hit, showcasing true culinary craftsmanship. The waitstaff were not only friendly but also impressively knowledgeable about the menu and specials. This place remains my go-to for treating friends and family from out of town, consistently offering a memorable, top-notch dining experience. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Ramsay's Kitchen. It's an experience that transcends the ordinary, leaving you eager to return.“
“Almost everything is home made. Everything I’ve eaten here is fantastic. If it was located closer to me I’d probably eat here once or more a week. No alcohol. I recommend any dumpling. Big bowl wonton soup is 10/5. Huge huge bang for your buck. My only regret is having one stomach ?.Dietary restrictions: They ask if you have any dietary restrictions and are willing to accommodate.Parking: Big parking lot plenty of spacesWheelchair accessibility: On flat level ground.“
“Fantastic breakfast & lunch spot! I've mostly had their breakfast; I only ate lunch here once. But all of our visits were consistently excellent. The breakfast menu is terrific, and every dish I've tried has been great. I especially love their waffles & pancakes (I actually get cravings for them). I especially ❤️ their fresh squeezed orange juice, and try their orange strawberry juice for a really nice twist. Staff is always attentive, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommended! It can get busy (especially weekends) with extended wait times for tables depending on the size of your party. Sometimes it is better to go at off-hours (late morning) on weekends to avoid large crowds. It's also near some of the best shopping in all of Chicago if you plan to make a day of visiting the Lombard/ Oakbrook shopping mecca!Parking: Plenty of parking, but during busy, high volume times you may have to park on the street, but always spaces somewhere close.“
“So I was literally at work like a normal day (service porter) and I had to drop off the owner to zoup. I had no intention in getting food but he offered me a free meal. I loved the food and will definitely bring friends and family to visit. If you like Panera this is waaaaay better! You’ll love zoup!!!!Kid-friendliness: There was no cursing or bad vibes. This is most definitely a family environment!“
“The food was great. The gravy (marinara) over the meatball appetizer was better than mine. The arugula salad was lightly dressed letting the greens be the focus. Since it was entree sized the waiter suggested we split it. We also went with his suggestion and got the table side made Cacio E Pepe Bucatini. It was $10 more for table side prep, but they made it in a "bowled out" wheel of parmesan cheese which was entertaining, and delicious. I will definitely go back.“
“Food is tasty, service is phenomenal and the owners Marilou & Ernie are Welcoming and Great! They seem to care about their customers and building those long lasting relationships with the Filipino community, Sometimes I feel like I am actually a part of their family like a nephew or something! ? I must say, Enjoying my meal while OPM is playing, makes me feel like I’m in the phillipines! Sir Lakay the head chef and kuya Chan really know how to throw down in the kitchen! Some of My favorite dishes are the Crispy Binagoongan, Pancit Sotanghon(on the dry side with extra lemons! I like my pancit Maasim) Pinakbet, Chicken Inasal with Java and the Crispy Pata Kare-Kare with bagoong on the side for that savory, satisfying, crunchy, salty bite! Ate Gina who works in the bar is super awesome too! She is always fun to talk to with a good sense of humor and positive outlook on life she makes the best and prettiest looking desserts! Sometimes when I dine I get to see Jovi I think he also goes by Jmic and Carl those guys are cool! ? what I love the most about Hong Ning is how they are very family oriented, you feel at home when you come to dine with your friends and families. I’ve tried other Filipino restos in Chicago, and trust me I will always without a doubt love Hong Ning the most, It’s also super cool how many famous Filipino artistas have dined in there so far including myself! Charot, by the way you have to try their Chomporado made by Mae! The rice has a unique texture to it and the chocolate is decadent! Yeah yeah sure sure!“
“Nice place. Modern vibe with traditional Polish food. Our table had pierogi as a starter and they were tasty and the dough was good. My wife has been making them for over seven decades, so I have a feel for them. I had the Highlander cutlet, very tasty, crips, but tender. Pork hock buttery soft, beef goulash with potato pancakes great.“
“I'm most likely writing the servers name wrong but Giovanna was absolutely great. Food was very deliciousPasta Alfredo, steak, salad, and kids meal was very very good.Server was very attentive to us, got us refills without even asking us making sure we were taken care off. This was our first time at the lombard location and this was a 5 star experience. We will definitely be back.Calamari was excellent ?“
“The food and ambiance was amazing. To start the complimentary chips and salsa was very good. Although some chips were a little too salty. I had the Taco platter (carne asada and 2 chicken tinga), double rice (no beans). The carne asada was a tad dry, while the chicken tinga was delicious! The rice was good, but a tad bland and required a healthy dose of salsa. Service was good, but slow at times. Overall, very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.“
“Simply amazing. The strawberry harvest salad is the most refreshing thing I ever tasted with the soft fresh piece of bread and creamy soft butter. The strawberry champagne vinaigrette is amazing. I don't eat salads. Maybe as a side w steak and potato but this is a whole delicious meal of its own. I can eat it alone. The lobster bisque with roasted red peppers is outstanding! The brisket sandwich was 10x better then I could of imagined with all the flavor profiles sweet salty meaty tangy. We got a pesto chicken salad just because it looked unique and it was the best thing we ever tried. Through the whole meal we just kept saying how good every part of it was it was like the best dinner I had in a while. It also felt very healthy and this is my new favorite place to eat around my house two sandwiches, a salad soup you get two slices of bread and two chocolate strawberries and I only paid 25 bucks. It was super filling and light and healthy feeling at the same time only 12 minutes to prepare Simply amazing six out of five star! I would post pictures of the food, but it was devoured so quickly“
“This place is great! We've been ordering here once a week for a least the last 6 weeks. Orders are ALWAYS correct. Food is consistently good. Service is on point, friendly and upbeat. We haven't eaten inside the restaurant however when picking up, all areas you can see are clean and well maintained.“
“Got carry out from here earlier this week. Not sure when the restaurant opened, but first came upon it when I went to pickup Dominos (right next door) a couple weeks ago so thought we'd give it a try. Good Thai that is very close to home has been hard to find - typically frequent Montri Thai in Warrenville, and Thai Orchid in Aurora - which are still relatively "further" than I'd like to go for carry out. Food was solid - got a chicken panang, chicken stir fry, basil fried rice, and pad see ew. I tacked down a star because I was a bit disappointed with the spiciness conferred from choosing medium - which felt like it was absolutely no spice at all. Given it was just one level below their highest (spicy) - expected there to be a tiny bit of heat - though tasty, the Panang left more for wanting. Overall great and will be ordering here again - definitely want to try the catfish they offer!“
“We buy crispy smelt to go here and those are the best! So cruspy even the nect day. Second time we dined in last night. All the food we ordered are authentic chinese and so delicious. We ordered hongkong steak, kung pao chicken- perfectly cooked and the sauce and spiciness is not overpowering.; yeong chow fried rice is yummy too, salt and pepper chicken is not what we expected. We were expecting a chicken but this is chicken strips covered in batter but it turned out really good too. Service is fast and tge owner is akways nice. The place is a typical chinese restaurant with round rables and booth. They just need to remove the table where they put the bakery products, it's just in the way when you walk to the tables.“
“Since New Wok hasn't reopened and prices at House of Emperor have slowly been raised thru the roof, we tried here and got 4 dishes we have ordered at many Chinese take out places or even in Chinatown. Here we go: Chicken Chop Suey-excellent! Sauce is tasty, plenty of bean sprouts and pea pods, good amount of tender chicken, trimmed nicely of any fat. Beef Fried Rice-very good. Although it had yellow onion instead of the more normal green onion, and scrambled egg was kinda sparse. Still very good. Beef With Broccoli-would have also been excellent except it had sweetness, I have always hated sugar added to my Americanized Chinese food. BBQ Pork Egg Foo Yung-same comment as the beef with broccoli. The gravy for the egg foo was VERY sweet. Too sweet for me! The only option is large which is 3 paddys not the usual 4. I think without the sugar it would have been very good. Purely take out here, it was obvious they used to have a sit down business at some point but not now. Extensive menu, see their website and either phone order or online order.“
“Every time we come in the service is phenomenal. Todd and all the other bartenders always work together & create an amazing atmosphere. The food is always perfect & drinks spot on. We love making this location our date night!! Keep up the great “
