“I had never tried southeast Asian cuisine. Even though I don’t know how they’re supposed to taste, I can tell the food is deliciously made!! It’s delicious as take out but it is even more amazing when you dine in and the food is piping “
“The sushi was really good- fresh and rolled well, however a bit pricy. It seems like there is counter service; I ordered from the counter. However, the person came from behind the counter to take an order from a different table- so, maybe either way? There are a lot of rolls to choose from, but many seem very similar.Dietary restrictions: There were a limited number of gluten-friendly items. Most of the maki rolls have imitation crab, tempura or crunch things.“
“I cautiously entered the aging bowling alley to decide for myself if Boba Burger is as good as I've heard. After circling the parking lot to find a space during league play it better be.The menu is a big sign on the wall and there are a lot of interesting choices. The prices are good, too. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering the Seoul Burger. It was simply incredible. Kimchi, kalbi glazed bacon, fried egg. A perfect blend of flavors and textures, and no cutting corners on quality. So freaking good! The Thai iced tea is delicious, too.SECOND VISIT: It was so good I had to bring my fiance back with me. I guess that friendly guy at the counter owns the place with his brother. Good folks, I enjoy talking to them. She isn't as adventurous as me and ordered the more basic Boba Burger. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly seasoned, perfect sear. She was happy. This time I tried the BBQ Lechon Burger. It isn't as over-the-top as the Seoul Burger but it was still delicious. Lechon is roasted pork belly. Paired with the ground beef, barbecue sauce, and topped with an onion ring, this is another winner.Their Vietnamese iced coffee is really good. The egg rolls are above average, I had to fight her for that last one. Their fries are nicely crisped and well seasoned.Bottom line: Yes, they have earned their reputation and I plan on working my way through the whole menu.Parking: It's inside a bowling alley. If there's league play going on it could be difficult finding a spot close to the door. Otherwise there's plenty of spaces.“
“We expected something a little different since looking at the menu online, I couldn't really pinpoint the cuisine. Greek? Mediterranean? Asian? Polish? Middle Eastern? Well, doing a little Googling at the restaurant,it appears to be Uzbekistan. The beet salad was amazing, and I got the Lamb Kababs, called Shashlik. Really, really good. The entrees appeared to all be served on a wooden board, with your choice of side, sauce, and protein served on a small pita. I got a Old Fashioned cocktail, which was also really good. Our server was super sweet and attentive. Will be going back to try some of the other items on creative menu featuring a lot of options.“
“Build your own bowl: start out with a base including purple rice or sweet potato noodles, can not decide? Go half and half.chooese a protein from steak, Korean BBQ, chicken, spicy chicken, or tofu. Extra protein is only $3 (perfect if you are splitting a bowl - which you could easily do). There are seven veggies, including kimchi, scrambled eggs, and cheese to add to your bowl, top it off with one of 6 sauces. Pineapple and avocado are premium toppings at $1.50 each. I found the Korean BBQ tender and flavorful. The broccoli is oven roasted, bringing ou the nuttiness. Seriously, two people can split a bowl or plan on lunch tomorrow. ? On the beverage station is a crock of hot Miso soup, it is included in with your bowl. I found the soup needed salt.“
“My wife and I love this place. Their service is consistently amazing, and everyone is so friendly and nice. We bring our baby daughter in and they go out of their way to make her comfortable and us comfortable. They even bring her little snacks to eat and make her laugh. The sushi rolls, appetizers, daily specials and nigiri are always really good, fresh, and well priced. Probably the best toro you can get in HP area. I’ve tried their dinner entrees before too and they’re also really good! Would definitely recommend.“
“I love the food, as a vegetarian it's hard to find options when eating out and this place delivers. The prices are high, but the portions are decent. My only suggestion would be not to charge extra for a little extra sauce. It ruins the experience and I don't know if you gain anything by doing that.“
“So this place is an amazing "Pocha" experience! Great social drinking vibe with amazing food. Note that the wait can be 40mins+ and it can get very packed. Now although you might wait a bit, which should give you enough time to have an order in mine, the food comes out super fast once placed. Probably took only 10mins for the food to start coming out.Highly highly recommend the Tofu Kimchi (which comes with pork belly), Spicy BBQ pork belly w/mozzarella, and the Rose Tteok bok ki.Definitely what we were looking for and they also have karaoke which we might come back to try.“
“Best Thai food ever!! The potstickers and pad Thai are toooo die forrrrr! Along with that the Shumi, Crab Rangoons, and Mango sticky rice is fantastic!! Affordable prices, great food and most importantly the best owner in the whole world! Jimmy is the sweetest person ever and you can see how much he cares about each customer! You have to try it outttttt“
“What a great place! I can recommend it for celebrations, date or just sit by the bar and enjoy great food and drinks. We’ve been in this place many times and never disappointed. Great selection of delicious drinks, I always get their Old Fashioned.Food:You can tell everything is fresh and high quality, I always like to get oysters because they have delicious ones. You must try oyster shot it’s worth every single penny. Besides that great appetizers like fried Gyoza or spicy edamame. You won’t be regretting taking their sushi rolls either.Highly recommend!Parking: You can go to underground parking lot that is free of charge and you can access that parking from Summit ave“
“Kong Dog is a unique take on a hot dog and very creative. We had the Cheetos and Potatoes half and half dog. Both were fresh, tasted good and had incredible cheese pull from the cheese portion. It is certainly a speciality kind of a place rather than a quick stop in for a "regular" meal however.“
“If you like bulgogi beef this is a good place to enjoy it!I had dinner here and the food was really good, the restaurant clean and the service very friendly. The place has parking spaces and the restaurant looks quite cozy inside.I recommend it.“
“This review is for 2 very awesome and very wonderful people at PF Chang's in Schaumburg. The first is the host, Eric. This young man is so helpful and kind. When you see Eric, the first thing you'll think is: this guy should be modeling for Dolce and Gabbana! I mean, I'd venture to guess that his last name must be Dior. He's the real deal, balancing professional hospitality with positive vibes. PF Chang's got it right: Eric is the guy you want greeting your customers when they first walk in.The other hero during our visit was our wonderful server, Caitlan. This young lady has got all the basics down (i.e. friendly, efficient, frequent check-ins, etc). But what makes Caitlan so special is this: she has the gift of connecting with her customers. At some restaurants, you'll get a server that isn't very genuine, and customers can see thru that. Not Caitlan. My son, who is 3 years old, couldn't wait for Caitlan to come back so that he could chat with her about his green dump truck. Caitlan is enthusiastic, authentic, genuine...the list goes on and on. It was so refreshing to hear some of her background and ambitions outside of work. She is such a sweet young lady with a bright future ahead of her.Kudos to PF Chang's. They've got 2 very special employees in Eric and Caitlan. We can't wait to go back and catch up with both of them.“
“Sooo fantastic! I asked for wonton soup..Korean wings & spring rolls. I'll say that I will be a FOREVER customer now..the wings were the BEST I've ever had,so crunchy and the seasoning was spot on~the flavor was mmmmMMmm also ,the soup tasted like it was JUST made.. i was really happy when i saw that i was given rice as well! ..most importantly for me, this food was REALLY clean and by that I mean -ingredients that were selected & prepared with intent..no "after taste" no grease..just delicious homemade honest food! Thank you!Parking: Wouldn't ever be an issue“
“Honestly was a little nervous when I saw how little people there was and how extensive their menu was. We only got the golden shrimp (appetizer) and sushi items. So nothing from the grill side. But everything we got tasted really really good. Would like to go back when the terrace is open because I feel like the ambiance would be a little better out there“
“We wandered in just cuz it looked cool and it knocked it out of the park. While we decided what to order they gave us samples of their chicken jalapeño lumpia and chatted with us. We got the mixed mini lumpia, pork skewers, BBQ Bulgogi Bao, crab lumpia and a coconut smoothie. All of it was so incredibly good. I can’t wait to go back - we’ll definitely dine in next time.“
“The food is fresh, healthy and delicious. There was a younger man working who was very energetic and helpful. He definitely had a very uplifting attitude and was enthusiastic to help. I'm terrible with names but he was great. Free miso soup and I love their variety of teas. Chill vibes for quick eats.“
“Jin is my absolute FAVORITE place to grab lunch. It is truly a hidden gem. The crab ragoon is the best I have ever had. Its my favorite thing!!! Although, everything I have tried is amazing. The serving sizes are so generous and the food is so fresh and clean, not greasy. Its the BEST! You have to give it a try!“
“Fresh, delicious, sushi with thick slices of fish, with just the right amount of spice or cream cheese or whatever else you might find in your roll of choice to bring out the flavor of the fish instead of masking it. I can't believe this is so close to home - I'm completely beside myself with glee right now.Update: it's been 6 years and I'm still in love. I have eaten here a mortifying number of times and picked up sushi to go even more often and I've never had a bad experience.Second update: I've moved, and Hakuya is the only restaurant I'll travel to reach. Absolutely impeccable every time.“
“I really liked this place. It's small seems more of a take out restaurant but the food we had was pretty good. We had the gyoza, veggie fried rice, a Philly roll, bubble tea, and bimbibap. All delicious and the staff was very kind. Bubble tea was a lot better than expected. Will definitely be back to try more.“
“the food here is amazing!! they made an adjustment for me because i'm a vegetarian and made tofu in a dish served with meat. i also ordered a lot of things spicy and they did not fail! super quick & sweet people. i will be coming back“
“This was the most amazing food! The service was amazing, the staff was so sweet. They were so thankful and gave us some extra food to try! It was such a cold long day, and this really was the perfect meal!Vegetarian options: They only had bone broth left at the end of the day when we visited, and they special made a small batch of vegetarian broth for my friend who could not have bone broth! They were so sweet and it was much appreciated!“
“Salamat Po Authentic Filipino Cuisine offers a delightful journey into the heart of Filipino flavors. From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance welcomes you, setting the stage for an authentic culinary experience. The menu is a symphony of traditional Filipino dishes, each crafted with precision and love. The service is as impressive as the cuisine, with attentive staff ready to guide you through the menu. Salamat Po is a haven for those seeking genuine Filipino flavors, making it a must-visit for both enthusiasts and newcomers to this vibrant culinary tradition. The owner is great!Parking: Spacious parking lot.Kid-friendliness: The store has plenty of room inside so kids wouldn't be too bored while waiting for their parents to order food.“
“We had the chicken Tom Yum soup. It was pretty tasty. I've only enjoyed 2 places and this is one of them. The other was Thai Room but they're closed now. I had the basil fried rice. It was ok. I'd try something else next time. The fried icecream is pretty good“
“Delicious Malaysian cuisine. We first tried Malaysian food on vacation in Vancouver. I was so happy to see that we have a local restaurant that served the same authentic, delicious food. We highly recommend the roti bread with curry dipping sauce, ginger chicken, any of the noodle dishes, and the curries. Great food and friendly service.“
“Excellent food and service and atmosphere. This is our go to for a great night out with either the family, friends, or an amazing date night. Drinks are top notch and staff is wonderful and welcoming. Britni was our waitress and she was fantastic with our picky kids and so much fun. Can’t wait to go back!Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options.“
“?? ? ???????? ?????, ??’? ??????!After deciding to grab a quick meal in the area, my partner and I were promptly seated and served.(1) Taste(1.75/2.5): While sundubu jjigae is a Korean staple, ours lacked depth, and the seafood tasted overly fishy. However, the mixed tofu soup was a redeeming factor.(2) Ambiance(2/2.5): The atmosphere was lively and somewhat comfortable, but the seating and decor were not a good arrangement . Despite this, the restaurant appeared clean and well-maintained.(3) Service (2.5/2.5) The staff was attentive and responsive to our needs.(4) Price (1.75/2.5)“
“This is a long overdue review for an absolutely wonderful restaurant. I had the pleasure of discovering this marvellous Thai restaurant a few years back and I’ve tried to make it a regular feature in my dining experiences. Most Sundays, it is my go to place for lunch. The food is always fresh delicious and extremely good value. It is a family run place and when I am told that how much I am appreciated, I believe it, it’s not insincere corporate rubbish, but you hear from the big chain. Go there, and enjoy something from the extensive menu of delicious Thai dishes, or order sushi, or order both!“
“Damn fine restaurant, probably the best Chinese food in glenview. Highly recommend. I got crab rangoons, spring rolls, spicy calamari and the sweet and sour fish. Food was authentic and delicious. Will definitely come againVegetarian options: Lots of tofu options“
“There's always good vibes in the tropics Went to Tiki Terrace to celebrate our 9 year anniversary and it was so amazing! Right when you walk in to see the tiki bar and feel those tropical vibes! Everyone gets a dinner menu with the show that goes on and it's so much to choose from and the drinks were fantastic! We chose the coconut chicken and the pork and it came with two sides rice and macaroni salad! And of course we had pina coladas and a mango colada The hula performance is incredible and they speak to the crowd and tell us all about the history of the dances they do! Overall-- we had an amazing time it's definitely a place to check out if you want to feel like you're in Hawaii“
“We always enjoy the food and drinks here. Service wasn't great- our side dish was brought out as we were finishing up our meal. It had obviously just been reheated, which I guess is better than bringing it out cold.Volcano Roll is my favorite.“
“It's a convenient place to dine when staying at the hotel. The menu is very limited and provides your basic food distributor options. The ladies who were bartenders my first week there were great. On my return trip, there was a gent behind the bar, and he was not remotely close to as friendly or prompt as the ladies (one was in training-1st night) .“
“This pho restaurant is a great place to go for a quick and affordable meal. The pho is good, but not the best I've ever had. Their fresh spring rolls are so yummy! The staff is friendly and efficient. Overall, this is a good option for a casual meal. I will definitely be back!“
“Great little Thai food restaurant. The service was very good; everyone was helpful and accommodating. However, the food was the star of the evening!! I highly recommend that you eat here when you want Thai food for your next meal.Parking: Drive slow in front to find the right driveway. Parking is in the back and very tight.“
“The dim sum at this restaurant is just ok. The ordering is via IPad which is interesting. The dim sum comes ala carte instead of from a cart. Even with it coming straight out of the kitchen, the food didn’t come out hot which is disappointing.“
“Went here with my boyfriend a few weeks back, definitely recommend fried rice and the Korean chicken wings!!Honestly think this place is more for young adults since they play more American r&b and pop music rather than Korean music.Tried their takoyaki and it was kinda hard, and the spicy wings were a bit dry, but overall good place to go with friends“
“I've been ordering from this place for the last few months and am yet to be disappointed. The food is consistently delicious! The Tom Kha soup and Yellow Curry are so far my favorite! It's definitely my favorite takeout place in the area! Couldn't recommend enough!“
“i've been here a handful of times now and always have such a pleasant experience. service: friendly and prompt. they are quick to greet you at the door and offer help with any questions. there is a self serve water station towards the middle of the restaurant restaurant is small and not too many tables but each time i've gone there wasn't many people. food: everything i order here is so good. they have a very extensive meal and also have added more it seems -bulgogi fries: must add the kimchi. it's so good! ask for no ketchup though.. felt like it would have been better without it -assortment of makis and kimbops: i can't choose, whichever one ive gotten has been so good -fried chicken: super crunchy! everything about my meals have been so good! highly recommend!“
