“I brought my mom here for lunch and everything was wonderful! We both have food allergies and they were very attentive and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. “Service, ambiance, atmosphere and wine is what you will find at this location. There are some foo foo small bite foods available as well but I did not get into those upon my initial visit. This is a lovely fairly recent addition to Highland Park and one that I recommend you explore. If the name sounds familiar, it should. There are two other locations you may very well be familiar with, one on Waukegan road in Wheeling, and the other in Roselle. I would recommend starting with a flight to get a better feel for the range of wines they offer. There are your expected staples, along with some more aperitif sweeter options. Some of my faves this visit were the Tempranillo 2019,Sauvignon blanc, and the Syrah. The sweets were honestly too sweet for this kid. There is a wine club that you can join and I recommend that you do, we did! If you are looking for a third place to catch up with friends or family, the HP location will definitely lend itself well. Also take advantage of Wine Down Wednesdays for additional deals as well. If you happen to be visiting The Lot for an event, caddy corner across the street, this venue is literally steps away, be sure to stop in and say hello. If needed, the parking across from the venue allows three hours free.“

“A group of us went here last night. It was fantastic in every way. From the moment we walked in it felt like we were in Spain- from the greeting by the waiters when we walked in, to the music, the wine bottles on the wall .... And most of all... THE FOOD!!! The Gambas Al Ajillo was the standout dish- so incredibly flavorful and authentic- but more flavor than most tapas bars I went to in Barcelona. We also had the octopus, chuleton steak, patatas bravas and like 9 more. Everything better than the next. My friends husband said the steak was one of best steaks he's ever had. The wine list was well curated, amazing job there and the vermouth hit the spot. We loved the cava. The service was top notch- Juan our waiter explained each dish and his recommendations were perfect. The food comes out fast - the whole staff did a wonderful job. It really shows how much they love their jobs-everyone was smiling and laughing. It is a bit loud at times because the dining room is small but we loved the whole vibe. What a hidden gem!!! Can't wait to go back and order takeout!“

There were some unfortunate issues at the end of the night and a missing cake, but Froggy's did their best to resolve them (for example, making a new cake top for us to enjoy on our first anniversary).“

Coffee was good and we were very happy w the pork chops, chicken philly and chicken club sandwiches. That being said my salad lacked tomatoes and cucumbers. Let's start with the fantastic clam chowder, which I would highly recommend getting for an appetizer! I just wish they offered this in a bowl instead of a cup as It's too damn good to just have a cup! This is the best clam chowder that I've ever experienced! Someone ordered some nice bottles of cabs for dinner, which I downed with my bread and calamari dishes! Every time I set my cup of water down, it was quickly refilled by the fabulous Lucio! The main course was the house made lobster ravioli......this was unbelievable! I had to get another bread basket to soak the delicious leftover sauce from the ravioli. A couple of my buddies got the lamb shanks, which looked like it was cut from the Fred Flintstone era. These were humongous! I had a great cup of coffee to settle my stomach down. Our waitress was fantastic, always attentive and prompt with her appearance. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant in Palantine, stop over at Agios! I don't give 5 stars often, but this place earns and deserves it!“
