“Celebrated my bday on Monday . Food was delicious as always , waitress was pleasant and very attentive. The only reason I am giving 4 stars it’s because the hostess was very rude and ignorant. If you having a bad day maybe next time take a day off . No one wants to see your attitude.“

“Came here on a Saturday just for the high tea service with a friend. This is my first time visiting the Drake hotel in Oakbrook ever as well as the colonial room. What I love is that parking was very easy and very free. The ambience as soon as you walk in of the hotel is very modern with some classical traditional touches. The place overall is very impressive and a great place to host probably have meals as well as even parties. I will say the tea service itself was good and decent, but it wasn't impressive. Meaning I thought that for two people they would mirror all of the food offerings however that was not the case. Also, I felt that the food offering, especially for the savory items was quite limited. There were only nine choices. However, the choices were all loose leaf tees, which was great. The high tea also includes a free glass of champagne, which is always a nice touch. The place are absolutely beautiful and take great photographs. A stand out from the entire experience was definitely the staff which includes the waiter and the support partners that he had. They were super attentive and friendly, which always makes for a good experience. I think for the price and for what you get it was a little short and I will continue to try out high teas to find just the right one.“
“Epic, memorable lunch. We ordered steaks, and they were perfectly prepared and grilled. The strip steak was a perfect medium as requested, and my filet mignon was a delicious medium rare. No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.“
“The food met or exceeded everyone's expectations. Our server, Brooke, and her assistants were terrific: pleasant, patient, and attentive. The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. Surely it is a plus that Neat did their best.“
“An incredible meal! Never expected a tenderloin to match Gibsons and blackened salmon plus fresh crab cake appetizer that Shaws could only dream about! Excellent service from Johanna who is personable, professional and-knows the menu well! You can't go wrong with her recommendations though not sure you could go wrong with anything here! Thanks for a great dining experience. Far better than most well known names with double the price.“
“Sherard and Stephanie are the best. They alone are a reason to go and enjoy the great food and atmosphere this place creates. But if you do go, you must try their New York strip steak, delicious and cooked to perfection along with their truffle fries. Their cocktails are also very good, strong. It is an expensive experience but it's a worthwhile one.“

“Came here with my wife while we were in town for a marriage conference. It was a busy Saturday night, but we had a reservation so the wait wasn't bad. Service was excellent and they got us helped very promptly, even with the full house!I ordered pollo marsala (pictured) with The Godfather (drink). Both were excellent! My wife ordered the pappardelle al nonno and she liked it as well. Great atmosphere as well. Would recommend the high tables if you're on a date as they're a bit more tucked away.Parking: We went on a Saturday evening (6:30 reservation) and didn't have any issues finding parking. Used the side lot which is shared by the other businesses nearby and found a couple spots immediately.“
“Food was pub style but just what you want if you want pub style. Wings, nachos, burgers, and fries were all very good. Beers are good and cold, mixed drinks are very, tall? Very friendly staff. “Unfortunately, the evening did not start off well. We were told that we had to wait for our reservation for atleast 10-15 min after our original time, even though we showed up early. Then after waiting, we were told another 15 min. Noticed that they seated other groups that were walk ins so I guess they were given priority. We had two young children who were starving so we decided to leave and just as we did, the manager came running after us and asked us to stay. They turned around a table and even through a pizza in the oven for the kids, no charge. The food was good, not great. Felt a little rushed as it was now kind of late for dinner and they were getting ready to close. Wouldn't mind giving them another try but will likely favor other restaurants over this one.“

“Open, very, summery atmosphere! Feels like you're grabbing dinner on vacation to places like Palm Beach or Miami. Such a great place for a brief escape from Chicago winters. Elegant but still casual. Bright colors, nothing dark and dingy like several if the more old school Italian restaurants. Food is excellent! A good variety. I had the linguine with clans and I loved how it wasn't saturated in butter and garlic. Tasted like it does in Italy! Bread was fresh, beet salad was surprisingly delicious, and the Gelato was some of the best I ever had. We got hazelnut and pistachio. Coffee was good and strong. Service was good though we had to ask for several things which should have been already at the table, like grated cheese, salt and pepper, sharing plates should have come with the dessert as they gave enough spoons to know we were all sharing, etc. I've been here when it's jam packed and the service has always been great! This time it was less busy and we had to ask the bus boy for things. But, that being said, the waitress was very polite and immediately took care of requests when she was present. I wanted a table by the window and the host willingly accommodated us by making a 4 top for us. One plus from coming on a lesser busy time was that it was much quieter,l. Usually it's pretty loud in there when it's busy. But I always appreciate the uplifting vacation like atmosphere! I've never been disappointed, and this is probably my 4th time eating at Lucia Rose and will not my last.“

(Or two) I realize I was late for my flight and ran to my gate. I of course left my laptop there. Thank you for reporting it because I was screwed if not. “This bar has been the bar of choice for a while now, being there often enough where they know what i drink when i walk in, and know my name. you cannot beat the price, and everyone there is friendly. if you're looking for a fancy mixed drink this isn't your place, but there's always cold beers and the shots keep flowing.“
“We found the atmosphere very cool and up to date the Server was new but you could not tell she was personable and knowledge the menu had a great selection. The wine was wonderful our Pizza was cold and our stuffed Mushrooms were slightly over cooked. With these minor issues it's not enough to stop us from wanting to go back. The other dishes looked and smelled fantastic from the people around us . The location is also nice a suburban downtown enclave.“
“Where do I start? I came across this place on instagram. I was shocked, that I had been missing out. I didn't go right away. So, I decided to go one Friday and the service was awesome. Both bartenders, were very nice and attentive. The ambiance, was chill. Some people, were standing having their wine immersed in conversation. I took a seat, at the bar since I was alone. I cannot remember, the drinks I had. But, I enjoyed both! I visited again, the following Friday LOL! This time, a little earlier. I sat at the bar again, this time I went for the special "froze rose" with a shot of gin. Extremely good drink! So I had two lol Many thanks, to that bartender! Both times, I loved my expertience...I've found a new chill, laid back, after work on a Friday spot!“
“Beautiful Easter buffet, food was continually be replenished, everything was hot and delicious. So much variety, I can't think of anything else I could have added. Was alittle crowded where the food was set up, but it moved quickly. Children ran in and out of the patio doors making it cold inside, but that was on the parents not the restaurant. Upon entering we were greeted with smiles and treated like valued patrons ( although it was our first visit).We sat at the bar and the bartender Marshall provided impeccable customer service. He was very knowledgeable about the selection options and he can make a pretty stiff drink. The overall feel of this establishment was very intimate and comfortable. If you are there, you will feel like you SHOULD be there enjoying a nice glass of wine. If we visit the area again, this place will certainly be on the agenda!“

“This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is good, service excellent, and atmosphere nice. I had dinner here and they had a new spring menu. My only complaint is that the food menu is a little limited; I would have expected more options. I had the salmon, which was very good, and paired with an appetizer of the crab cake. Finally, the wine selection is more than sufficient.Parking: Parking is not an issue: plenty of space and easy to find.“
