Little Lan's is a little gem in the area. Their food is consistently good and the kitchen has been able to make accommodations upon request. Their staff is friendly and remembers customers' names and their regular, go-to order, if they have one, after only a few visits. We had a fantastic dinner on Friday night. We feasted on potstickers, shrimp toast, pork fried rice, a ginger garlic steak dish, spicy garlic green beans and sesame noodles. It was our first time in the restaurant so we wanted to try a bit of everything. Every single dish was fantastic. We also shared a pot of hot jasmine tea. Good food, especially for carry out. We followed little lans from Wilmette to Winnetka, over 20 years. The service had occasionally been spotty , but in the last several years it has become reliable again. The dining room is also quite pleasant.Hot & Sour Soup is excellent as is the hot pork and green beans.
