“A bit of a rundown old dive bar that it has some space but it's all okay. This bar is a lot better than many other older bars and it has two sections as part of its layouts and overall it looks like a pretty typical rural EXO verb hangover bar it does seem to be a bar from a different generation which is fine and still has the plenty of old TV screens probably has not changed much since the 1970s. I like this and if I lived in the area I probably would go here more often“

The staff switched the TV nearest us to the NCAA women's basketball semifinal game when I asked upon arrival, and Katie later put it on the biggest screen for us without a request. “Seen from the freeway, but just enough off the beaten bath of highway 50, Rivals is a great spot to stop in for beer and a bite. The interior is pretty with lots of natural wood, a unique and stylish long bar, warm lighting and a variety of seating options. The multiple sets of rowed tappers on the ceiling make for fun and creative decor, so don't forget to look up!Rivals has a nice menu, full bar and a great selection of beers. I had the Downeast Blackberry Cider, at the recommendation of the owner who just happened to be sitting at the bar with us, and it was INCREDIBLE! If you are a fan of ciders, it's a must try. The subtle tartness was smooth, refreshing and delicious. For dinner, my husband ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and I opted for the Grilled Chicken Wings with Stingin' Honey Garlic Sauce. The bun on the Cheesesteak was soft but not soggy, the sliced beef was tender and pulled apart nicely, and the onions and green peppers were in perfect balance, adding a nice but not overwhelming flavor to the sandwich. My chicken wings were fantastic, and while the sauce was absolutely delicious I did not find it particularly "stingin." Which makes it perfect for those who want only a little kick.One of the girls working the bar was a little slow, but she was friendly and treated us well. It was great to talk to the owner and get his take on menu items, beer selections and general information about the restaurant. The only "issue" I had was the women's bathroom. Although clean, one of the two stalls is incredibly small. Even being petite, I found myself feeling quite confined once I shut the door.Rivals was described to me as a place for attorneys (because it's only 15 minutes from the courthouse) and townies, with great wings and very good food. Very true. While there are plenty of options in Kenosha, especially along the main strip, this place is worth a try. Again and again.“

“Always a gen when your local spot has great service and great food. Saw this place recommended on Nextdoor for their delicious 4.99 pub burger. It did not disappoint. Went during lunch on a Monday, ordered a beer while we watched them hand make the burger patty and cook everything fresh. Do yourself a favor and stop by.“

“The burgers are good, but a little pricey for what they are. I have had stuffed burgers at other restaurants and I will say these were probably the best I have had. The place is small and seems to get busy, so plan your visit. It was a little chilly in there.The staff and service were great.“

“Wow this place is so different when you first walk in. You feel like a total stranger then spins you around and you come out feeling like family. The bartender ladies were amazing and so polite for a crazy hectic Saturday/Saint Patrick’s Day. Bri was so amazing to me at her service as well as making me feel important. The security was great after you warmed up to the guys, but a little petty towards the end when the place had gotten full, and barely enough room to sit let alone stand. The cooks did an amazing job with the food, and definitely know how to cook. Even though we had to wait a long time for our food it was worth it. I definitely recommend they get a bigger place. They are a wonderful great group of staff and very loving to each other and to their community. I AM VERY PROUD OF THE OWNERS. “The gentlemen behind the bar are great, so happy go lucky, friendly men. There is a lot of space and seats in there. I order food for takeout. I have not had much food from there yet. I had a burger and fries, which was good, also a prime rib sandwich and fries, and dessert, which was pineapple upside down cake cups, no complaints, everything was good.Parking: Free parking on the street, and it is always hard to find a spot close by.“

“***UPDATE*** I changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars... I gave them a chance to make right on my issue and they came through...free replacement order at a later date... It would've been 5 stars had there not been an issue to begin with... Plus they forgot to give each of us our pickle. I've been here at least a half dozen times and normally the food is pretty good... This time it was terrible!!! 1/2 pound burger should at least fit the bun and normally it does if not more than... As you can see in the pictures it was a case of "where's the beef"?... Plus medium and medium rare should not be well done!!! Could you at least center the patty before cutting??? What cook looks at this and says yeah that's how you do it!!! Just a terrible way to waste $50!!!“

It's super cute inside and the bartender Jim was super cool!! he gave excellent conversation and filled me in on lots of the local fun stuff I need to know about!! You can play darts, you can watch the game on decent televisions, they have clean well maintained bathrooms, the lighting is not overbearing in the evening, although I would dim it down a little bit. The managers, Josh and Victoria French are very personable and attentive. Our waitress Tonya Williams was extremely well-mannered and polite, she had a full load of customers tonight and handled it well. She's a true professional. And last but certainly not least, Jessica Armstrong, ??she's the bartender! she's also a wizard with the Long Island Iced Teas, and they are not chintzy with the booze. They go down easy, they taste great, but hit you like a sledgehammer, LOL. Sit back and sava the flava?❗ The Qu's nachos were delicious! I'm a big fan of not overdoing the accoutrements, and unless you want them to, they won't. The flavor of their fries is on a par with any place in the area, bar none. Let's get to the burgers, a customer that ordered a burger told the waitress,Tanya, she hadn't had a burger that good since 1952! I've had burgers all over the area and in many other states, and this was one of the best burgers I've had in years! My wife had the fish sandwich which included their proprietary sauce, she loved it! Do yourself a favor, come on in and get your grub on, you won't be disappointed. Let's show them some support❗ and keep them around for a good LONG while. We have to support good folks? providing an excellent product for their customers.
