“We were in town for a softball tournament and stopped in Friday night for dinner. Niko was our server. Great food and outstanding service. Niko did a great job with our table of 8 moms with lots of questions and special food requests. Saturday night, we were thinking of where to go to dinner — and we all agreed — El Camino Kitchen. This time the whole team came with. We arrived and look who was working again, NIKO!! The hostess, bartenders, manager and Niko all did a fantastic job. Thank you!! Stop in. Big group or small. “We have always passed by this place, thinking that one of these days we were going to get to eat, it always caught our attention and today was the day and the surprise that we got a very cozy place, very well attended and most importantly with good food . My wife had two carne asada tacos, a red tamale and guacamole for the table which the guacamole was deliciously tasty fresh and very well executed the tacos were a considerably satisfying portion and the tamale was delicious very well seasoned no acidity nothing Very fresh, the tamale, surprisingly, I was very happy with it for my part, I ordered an al pastor burrito. The burrito comes with lettuce, tomato, rice, beans and meat, which made the burrito very tasty. well equipped, very well supplied with flavors and a price of only $11.99. Very good price for a burrito of that quality and that size, my wife and I were really fascinated, and it is definitely one or will be one of our stops, whether on the way back from Wisconsin or on the way to Chicago, very good place to stop and eat lunch, dinner and they also have breakfast. “How did I never hear about this place?!!!!! I work out at Planet Fitness in Kenosha and happened to just want breakfast that wasn’t McDonald’s and google maps took me here.Let me start by saying the parking is a little tricky but when your restaurant is on basically the busiest street in Kenosha it’s expected. I walked in and was immediately welcomed by the hostess/server, Mable. She could tell it was my first time walking into there and she was so kind and helpful and surprisingly energetic and friendly for it being in the morning.I got the cheese omelette and the full biscuits and gravy. I ordered too much but honestly for the low price I thought it would be small portions. See photos below- that is a ton of sausage gravy and I love that. For $15 I had enough to feed two people! What a great deal. And then I find out they also make Mexican food there in addition to awesome breakfast! This is gonna be my new favorite spot as I love Mexican food and I love breakfast!And the service is amazing. Mable knew her guests by name and she was able to tell me the story of how they’ve been in Kenosha for over 30 years? I’ve been in Kenosha for just about 25 years and I never seen or heard of this place. But I already told my mother about it and I’m gonna bring my kids here when they visit. Such a warm and welcoming environment. I’m really surprised they weren’t busier but it’s Tuesday- ooh by the way they have Tuesday Taco specials. I can’t say enough about the breakfast I’m currently enjoying and I can’t wait to try more of their food. At these prices I could definitely make this a weekly destination, maybe even twice a week? We’ll see.Anyone reading this give them a shot. It will totally be worth it. They’re a little tricky to get to, your best bet is to take Pershing to 41st Ave to avoid the 75th st and 39th Ave nightmare. But it’s totally worth the trip. “I been to this place many times for Hispanic cuisine and it's very excellent and reasonably priced! I had several great things here! Today I had the octopus ? Tostadas for probably my 3rd or 5th time and it was nice flavored and fresh ingredients. I love coming here with a group and I never leave disappointed! High compliments to the chef and staff! I even had the shrimp empanadas and fish tacos and it was delicious. I love how the food is made here and I love the cleanliness of the restaurant as well! I even had the sandwich and chicken chimichanga and it was very fulfilling! I do suggest the chips can be better be like Chilli's chips which are the best. Besides that I love Toluca's and their strawberry horchata is excellent as well!“

“Have been a loyal customer for 8+ years and usually get the same thing every time(chicken fajita wrap, no lettuce, plus giardinera). However, I recently went for lunch with my Grandmother, Aunt, and Cousin, and - wow!!!! I was missing out. The Birria is where it's at!!!!!! The ramen, quesadilla, and tacos were all so flavorful, filing, and fresh. This is a family favorite and always a great meal.“

“So walking in they greet you very friendly we ordered to go but we had some great conversation with the gentleman working behind the counter I had the tacos birra and my wife had the bean and cheese papusas and let me tell you absolutely amazing. “Great little taco truck! I had seen the truck for a while and decided to stop one day. I'm far from disappointed. The tacos were delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. I ordered a rather large order. 10 beef tacos and 10 chicken. Lets just say they didn't all make it home. When I can I enjoy helping small businesses. “New to the area it’s been hard for me to find food as good as Chicago. Tried this spot over a year ago &’ I have not stopped thing about it since. The tacos were amazing!! The salsas were delicious & flavorful &’ the rice was cooked to perfection. Everything was great until it was time to pay. Upon walking up to the register I was greeted by roaches crawling all along the area on the register, near the tip jar &’ viewed some in the kitchen which I was able to see when I approached the woman to check out, kinda felt like the roaches were charging me for the food itself & the possible consumption of their dead homies. They were not intimidated at all & didn’t try to hide one bit. Didn’t complain, paid the bill, tipped &’ left. Got in the car thinking how those were the best tacos I’ve had possibly in my life & sad I would probably never return because the roaches. Drove past & I see they have expanded, might return if they exterminated.“
