“This is the best bar to go to in downtown Woodstock, the atmosphere is so incredible it’s cozy, it’s welcoming, it’s fun! The outdoor heating under the awning was amazing. I recently had my wedding here and the owners went above and beyond to make sure my day was perfect! They are such kind and considerate people and helped us out so so much! Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with. Tammy was so sweet and caring and even took some pictures for us during setup!
Ryan was just the absolute best seriously so helpful easy to communicate with and just ready for anything I asked him. The staff they have are all also super friendly and willing to help me out with anything I needed. They were just on it the whole night! Wasn’t stressed at all!

“Great lunch today at Antigua! Our server Kara was so sweet, and we were so pumped for the guac she brought us! My pineapple margarita was delish. GIANT stuffed chicken quesadilla. Only negative is it's quite small so there wasn't really a table to fit 6 of us, but Kara made it work!”

“We had our annual family reunion for my husband's side of the family and it was the best day ever! Billy is very accommodating, makes great food and provides a lot of laughter! Super helpful and caring to all at his restaurant & Will let you rent out the whole facility and side yard for private parties! We had Italian beef, salad, baked mostaccioli and Greek chicken! Everyone loved the food and had tons of leftovers to take home! Very reasonable price per person! Definitely holding next year's family reunion at Beef village with Billy! Thank you for making our day so wonderful and extremely hassle-free so we could just enjoy family, food and fun!”

“This is the best bakery! Everything we've tried is wonderful! The cinnamon rolls are perfect. We try to get them weekly. The iced sugar cookies, pumpkin loaf and carrot loaf are new things we've tried and are amazing! Jessica is as sweet as the treats she makes.”

“It smelled really wonderful when I walked in, baking bread smell, which is always a good sign! They have cases of goodies on either side and it was hard to decide what to get. Couldn't tell you the proper name for most of what I did get, except for the churro. But each pastry was delicious.

The churro was crispy but soft and chewy on the inside and had cherry filling - didn't know you could stuff a churro, but what do I know, lol.

Whatever this cookie was it was perfectly sweet and crumbly and had a great pecan taste. It was also weirdly powdery when you bit into it, but in the very best way possible. The elephant ear, that's what I call it, was huge, flaky, crispy caramelized perfection. Those were my favorites, but everything was good, and I got out of there for under $10 so I was very happy.

“We discovered Ethereal on a recent visit to Woodstock, Illinois. Located just off the square, this is gem. It is cozy and inviting if you need to do a little work, lots of seating and a great spot to sit and enjoy food, snacks and coffee.\n\nWe loved this spot so much we stopped each day for the 3 days we were in town. The first day, Mr. Bee ordered the Pecan Pie Latte a seasonal drink. Not a coffee drinker, it sounded delicious and I took a sip, then another and another. It tasted just like pecan pie and the coffee was actual quite good, it was smooth and not bitter. If I lived in town I think I could get used to drinking coffee it was that good. When I spotted a Pumpkin Chai, I jumped on it. I am a pumpkin junkie. I ordered this one iced. It was so good. The pumpkin blended seamlessly with the chai spices and it quickly became a favorite. Wish I could find them at home.\n\nThe next morning we stopped in to grab drinks before heading out on a day trip. Mr. Bee went with a regular coffee which was again smooth and not bitter. Such a creature of habit when I find a favorite, I ordered the Pumpkin Chai, but this time hot. It was delicious. We grabbed a croissant to take with us, and it was crunchy and creamy on the inside. Happy Campers\n\nOn our way out of town after checking out of our inn, we stopped once again. The staff was so nice and recognized us, got our drinks for us and told us to come back if in town again. Such a gem of a coffee, confection, pastry and food shop in town.”

The store is immaculate. The chip stands are well attended and all the sandwiche artists are friendly. If I had 1 thing to complain about it is PLEASE cut the sandwiches all the way through. That would be really cool. 😊 thanks”

“well, first of all I just went there tonight for about 40 minutes and found out heather no longer works there she kept that place spotless you know she was great I thought and she made sure I got walked home if I needed one doesn’t really nice lady heather is I’m sorry to see her gone she was always waiting on the customers instead of talking to him and ignoring the customers wanting to get a drink, but I’m gonna miss her but is it cool kind of a bar if you like nostalgia they got lava lamps. They got board games they’re like trivial pursuit Jenga they got machines real good ones good paying ones I just wish heather would be back, but the prices are good they have karaoke and I believe live bands, too big bar in the back pool tables and right right in the square it’s a good walk for some. It’s an easy walk for me. I’ve never seen a fight in there not once everybody seems to know each other in there. It’s really nice but it’s hippie days are here again which is kind of cool. Try it you might like it.”

“The food and service is amazing. It's a very chill small spot and I honestly almost missed my turn to pull into the parking lot, but the food, service, and atmosphere is amazing. Will definitely be back.

P.S. I had a burrito dinner. Well worth my money. Salad, beans, rice, and burrito all came at a very well made temperature and fresh.”

“I had the pleasure of experiencing this restaurant today. This is Chinese restaurant I've eaten at in a very long time. Their spring rolls are the best I've ever had, period. The rainbow lo mein was outstanding. They serve oolong tea in pots, which is something no restaurant does where I live, so that was a treat. If I could give this review more than 5 stars I would. This is a must dine restaurant.”
