“Great lunch today at Antigua! Our server Kara was so sweet, and we were so pumped for the guac she brought us! My pineapple margarita was delish. GIANT stuffed chicken quesadilla. Only negative is it's quite small so there wasn't really a table to fit 6 of us, but Kara made it work!”

“Oh my gosh. I’ve been a customer at offsides for years and I just have to leave a much delayed review. Service is always amazing and consistent.
I’ve ate off there menu many many times and was always impressed with the small exquisite touches to their different sauces and different cooking methods and today I ate their ribs for the first time which are featured on Saturdays as the Saturday special slow cooked ribs that are accompanied with either a soup or salad a choice of fries which are potato wedges or tater tots and the ribs are offered with their amazing barbecue sauce or their Jack Daniels sauce today I had their barbecue sauce and let me tell you hints of honey and molasses with touches of brown sugar. That’ll make you think that you’re in a place that deserves an award-winning slow cooked rib off of some type of competition absolutely amazing completely 100% recommend the one and only Offsides sports bar and grill if you’re looking for a place to feel at home and a place to taste some of the of the most wonderfully influenced options on a menu. “It smelled really wonderful when I walked in, baking bread smell, which is always a good sign! They have cases of goodies on either side and it was hard to decide what to get. Couldn't tell you the proper name for most of what I did get, except for the churro. But each pastry was delicious.

The churro was crispy but soft and chewy on the inside and had cherry filling - didn't know you could stuff a churro, but what do I know, lol.

Whatever this cookie was it was perfectly sweet and crumbly and had a great pecan taste. It was also weirdly powdery when you bit into it, but in the very best way possible. The elephant ear, that's what I call it, was huge, flaky, crispy caramelized perfection. Those were my favorites, but everything was good, and I got out of there for under $10 so I was very happy.

“In my opinion Ethereal is one of the finest chocolatiers in the country, and I particularly like the organic and natural flavorings, esp the orange chocolate which is the best which is my favorite. It is very simple to eat vegan there, and healthy. I enjoy all the plant based foods, and a hidden treasure is the protein boll, both filling and light. The herbal tes are the best I ever had, and they have much depth, combining organic teas of various flavorings. Service is friendly and laid back, and the counter area is fun for comradery and good lighting when oe is alone and perhaps wants to work. Ive gotten to know people well by sitting there. I love all their salads and I like the cucakes as much as the chocolate. It's a very attractive place, laid back and relaxing. It is very clean and well maintained. Honestly, I never ate downstairs, although I love the global ceiling on this level, which is both futuristic and subdued. Coffess seem better than average. I once drank end enjoyed a glass of warm mosel a few times per year, It was better than average. Presentations are nice, and consistent. Price points are low for the quality. While subdued, the patrons seemed upbeat and friendly, always up for discussion. I like the art, often changing. Lots of meaningful discussion to be had at the counter, esp if you enjoy the arts and literature, There are some intangibles that are appealing. many regulars, and acquantances. I enjoyed the very young and the very mature. It's the kind of place you can learn a lot just by observing and listening. On Freiday night you can expect an international crowd akin to North Michigan Avenue in Chicago and many students and musicians. Their chocolates are in retail outlets as well, which is t be expected. I expect that they;ll expand to include humus, greek yogurt as their clientele fits the demographic. Large tinted windows are peaceful. nice blend of contemporary music. probably the favorite of McHenrey County along with Aroma in Crystal Lake. Convenient to shops, sumer fun, the Oprah House, and Classic Cinema 9the lovliest meduim size, main auditorium in the midwest.”

“well, first of all I just went there tonight for about 40 minutes and found out heather no longer works there she kept that place spotless you know she was great I thought and she made sure I got walked home if I needed one doesn’t really nice lady heather is I’m sorry to see her gone she was always waiting on the customers instead of talking to him and ignoring the customers wanting to get a drink, but I’m gonna miss her but is it cool kind of a bar if you like nostalgia they got lava lamps. They got board games they’re like trivial pursuit Jenga they got machines real good ones good paying ones I just wish heather would be back, but the prices are good they have karaoke and I believe live bands, too big bar in the back pool tables and right right in the square it’s a good walk for some. It’s an easy walk for me. I’ve never seen a fight in there not once everybody seems to know each other in there. It’s really nice but it’s hippie days are here again which is kind of cool. Try it you might like it.”

“I recently moved to Wonder Lake and have visited all the Subways in the area. This one is my favorite, especially because of Foram, the young lady who served me. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming, but her smile and personality are the reason I will make this my daily stop. 👍”
