It’s a beautiful place to go to, but my food was cold. Not only I waited almost a half an hour in the drive-through when I got the food it was cold not what I asked for wanted spicy tenders got the mild fries were cold and soggy the rice had no flavor and it literally had no beans. After so many years buying them Popeyes this is my very first time that I’ve been so disappointing..
Today I placed an order for Flounder Fish Sandwich and I requested no tartar sauce. I’m not able to have the sauce is why I asked for it not to be on the sandwich. I get home and just see the fillet was removed from one sandwich that had tartar sauce to new bread or wiped off. I tried calling the restaurant to no avail. Tried the new Popeyes on Sheridan Rd in Zion (IL). We ordered a 16 pc chicken tender meal and 2 lg drinks. Holy Hell! The total was $70!!! Ridiculous. It would have been $10 cheaper at the Waukegan store. You know these owners are “caught up” from the pandemic. Now they’re just gouging. Too bad because the staff was exceptional. Won’t be going back there, though.
