“We were visiting Grand Park for sports (soccer), and are always looking to support a local company, but were especially looking for a place that roasted its own coffee. Being that there was also food was an added bonus. I had the Basecamp dark roast, and was in love at first sip. My son had the Caravel, and said it was very good also. As for the food, three different dishes were ordered. I had the sausage strata. It was a proper portion and was extremely tasty. My son had the Sara Lee special, which once I saw kinda wish I'd ordered, and he raved about it. Our third patron, ordered a lunch item, the Mediterranean sandwich, minus tomato. It was so good, and he was so hungry, he literally ordered a second. No complaints. You get what you pay for. We all agreed we'd go her before a litany of popular chain restaurants. I also left with a 5lb bag of the basecamp whole bean coffee, because I knew once I was in MI if I didn't get it I'd have regrets, and since I'm still dealing with the ones from summer camp as a kid, I don't want them standing up. Fantastic venue, personable service, and frankly down right comfortable, like home.“

“Our family had a long day of soccer and was looking for a place to eat some pasta. The owner and service were both so accommodating and efficient. They made us feel welcomed and were flexible with our changing schedule! The restaurant was busy but warm and inviting. The bread was freshly made, right out of the oven with your choice of butter, oil and vinegar or olive tapenade! Yum! The calamari was fresh, hot and perfectly seasoned! The entrees blew our minds! We had eggplant parmigiana, penne in vodka sauce with Italian sausage, penne and shrimp in an oil and butter sauce. If we weren't from out of town, we would be there every weekend!“

“They make great drinks including the best London fog I've had. The staff are friendly and actually craft your order. They sell items from other local small businesses. The reason I drive past multiple other coffee shops to get there is the atmosphere. It is cozy. I feel like I'm welcome to stay and enjoy my drink for as long as I'd like. The seating is comfortable and thoughtful. The reason I go into a cafe is to take a break from the hustle and just be still for a while. I can do that here.Dietary restrictions: They do have a couple of gluten free items.Kid-friendliness: They have books and games for everyone to enjoy.“

“A group of us from Northern IN rode down & when it was time to eat I googled places to eat. BBQ sounded good to everyone so that's where we went. Not a bad choice either. Everyone had something different, the food was excellent! We could smell the food before we even walked in, I knew then it was gonna be good. We will make the trip back again! I would definitely get the baked beans again along with any of the meats!“

“We enjoy the details of many of the dishes. The ingredients are sometimes surprising and that’s the best thing about many dishes on the menu. Sure you can make salmon and cauliflower at home, but probably not like Field Brewing makes salmon and cauliflower. Their recipes and dishes are just always a delight to us. If you’re gluten free, they take their gluten free preparation very seriously. Enjoy!“

“The codfish is always excellent but they need to work on making sure that every or has all the items this is not a negative review, just sometimes I leave without everything I ordered. .. and I can't forget to mention that their ice cream is always excellent ??.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely the best place to take your kids after a baseball at Grand Park,and it's down the street from portillo's and Birdies.“

“This was all of our first time there we had 6 in our party which included two kids. I was so glad to NOT see mac n cheese as a main course for kids on the menu. Everyone got something different and everyone loved their food. Also the kids meals come with a rice krispy treat that comes on a plate that looks like a painters pallette with a paintbrush, chocolate syrup, raspberry sauce and sprinkles super fun!!“
