“I was having my car worked on across the street and i went in because inwas told they had a kids play area upstairs. Play area doesn't even begin to describe it! The entire upstairs is converted into a kids area! There was so much for my daughter and i to do while waiting. When we got hungry, we went downstairs and ordered a chicken salad croissant and a strawberry lemonade (both of which were delicious) and when i didn't have enough hands to bring it all back upstairs, they offered to take it up for me! Anyone who has kids knows that being out by yourself with them can sometimes be challenging. They made me feel so comfortable and confident having my daughter with me. Super kid friendly and amazing service! Will definitely be visiting again!”

“We hosted an event here - The owners were amazing to work with, and the bartender was fantastic! I had no idea this brewery existed before our event, but I will definitely be back! The overall vibe is very laid back and comfortable. I can’t wait to sit on the patio (with my dog) this summer!”

“The food and portions. are Good. Dining area are clean. Restrooms at least the men's looks like a janitors closet but functioned. couple servers are on point. 2 things I will add are pay attention to the descriptions in menu, some entrees say Rice and Beans and some say Rice or Beans and only other thing is ordered lunch plate and they made a dinner plate it said in menu Rice and Beans so I said something and they actually took the plate back put rice and beans on it but took off 2 tamales due to server or kitchens error. in my opinion that was bad Restaurant etiquette. But I have eaten rhere more than 10x and no problems, cheaper to do sit-down than fast food!”

“Absolutely one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We split a cocktail, two apps, an entree, and a dessert, and every single part of the experience was perfect. “Tried this place and I was blown away. This is a secret gem for sure. We had reservations which was good because on a Saturday at 7:30 it was packed. There was, however plenty of parking around the building so no worries there. The menu has something for everyone, steak, sandwiches, salads, pasta, just a wide variety of items to choose from. It took us all some time to pick what we wanted because everything sounded so good. I landed on steak and a baked potato. It was cooked to perfection. Because it was my birthday celebrations, I also was able to pick from a dessert. I picked the carrot cake. While typically I'm not the biggest fan of carrot cake, the server said how amazing it was and she was right. Lastly - They do have a speak easy type area in the basement called the cellar. We were able to have dinner down there (we put the request in ahead of time), but there were many people down there just have cocktails. Really nice vibe down there where you would want to go even if you aren't having dinner.”

“We were so excited to make our first visit to this gem. It was highly recommended by friends and has so many stellar reviews Being first time callers, our choice was to eat in the bar. Sean the bartender was super busy,as this restaurant was packed, took great care of us. The patrons in the bar provided some killer recommended choices and we took advantage of them. First choice was the fried ravioli. Excellent n could only eat 2 of the 4. We split the beet salad. Perfect choice. Next was the chicken piccata for my baby's birthday n she loved it! I had the lasagna w the vodka sauce( you can choose your own). Spot on!!! Negroni n Chianti were delicious n service was great! Will be back for sure!!!”

I hadn't found any truly good and satisfying BBQ here in Indiana, 'til today.I was extremely impressed and smiling as I was greeted before I even reached the order/pickup window/door of Ben's BBQ Shack - Westfield (north suburb of Indy) on my first-ever visit today, for the online pre-order I placed Wednesday (they sell out every day they're open – Fri-Sat-Sun – carry-out only, although there are several picnic tables for fair-weather dining).As I walked up, a team member stepped out of the doorway, with a big smile, a genuinely welcoming attitude, and asked if I was picking up.I gave him my name. HIs face lit up as he seemed to know my order. I had included a message, in the special notes section of my online order, mentioning that this was my first time and that I didn't see an option to specify sauces, if there were any available. I wrote, "First time ordering. If there are side BBQ sauce options I missed, a sweet / medium-heat variety would be the best fit for us. Otherwise, smokey-and-delish-as-they're-served is what we're looking forward to trying. See y'all Friday! Cheers!" (the sauce I described IS available and, Oh My! ... so, so good.)He said, "So this is your first time here!""Yeah!" I smiled back ...He ducked inside and soon returned with my bagged order and added, "Ben threw in a sample of pulled pork for you to try."Then, "Ben" looked out the window and offered an enthusiastic, "Hey! Thanks, bud! Thanks a lot!" ... Although obviously busy in the midst of rush work as folks were lining up for walkup orders, they had time to express appreciation and inspire smiles with their guests.Ben and his team get it. They are sincerely welcoming as they actively engage with and serve their customers. My spouse, sister-in-law, and I opened a restaurant just over a year ago. We also know how rewarding it is to engage with guests and deliver a truly enjoyable experience; and we do our best to inspire our team to "get it" too.It was still warm when I got home to stash it for reheating, later, when my spouse arrives home from work ... but there was that unexpected sample of pulled pork calling out to me. I opened up the trays and was very happy to find that the brisket was a very GENEROUS 2 lbs ... and the sample of pulled pork that I expected to be bite-size or, perhaps, a slider-size serving ... was also very generous – enough for a couple full-size sandwiches, or four or five sliders, at least!Anyway, since there was such an abundance and no one else home to see ... I sampled a serving of the beef brisket ... and made myself two pulled pork sliders ... and suddenly found myself in smokey BBQ bliss! Just-right smokiness, perfectly juicy, beautiful to behold, and oh-so-savory to taste!Ben's BBQ Shack is likely to become a monthly ritual ... or at least my go-to when the smokey BBQ cravings hit hard.”

“We came here for dinner and were definitely not disappointed.The wings are the signature dish and have multiple sauces, all of which are house made fresh. we had the bourbon apricot sauce which was incredible. For dishes, my son had the pulled pork quesadilla, which was huge and stuffed with a ton of Pulled pork. My wife and I both had the Shanghai sticky ribs, which were delicious and fell off the bones right away. The coleslaw was a great side dish. I would highly recommend this place for dinner. It's a nice environment and great service. The chef, Greg, was awesome, and the whole staff was friendly.”

“Four of us dined at Nyla's last night and it was fantastic! The wedge salads were very tasty as was the Mushroom Cream Soup (both came with the meal). The two of us that ordered the Chicken Milanese said it was delicious! Another in our party ordered the Bone-In Pork Chop and declared it to be fabulous! (the presentation was beautiful) I had the Sea Bass and it melted in my mouth...so delicious! The cauliflower risotto that came with the dish was such a nice surprise and a wonderful accompaniment to the Sea Bass. Outstanding food, outstanding service and outstanding atmosphere...they have it all!”

“The salad was very fresh and tasty and the bread sticks were great. Not a fan of the lasagne sauce but the spaghetti florentine was delicious as well as the fettuccini Alfredo. Meatballs were small and dense and had the same sauce as the lasagna. Overall some good and some not so good.”

“I order food for our Team once or so a week and Erika's place is one restaurant that we have ordered from a few times now. Generally when we order it is for 11-15 people at a time. Everything is delicious, packaged well and generally still hot when we eat it. I phone these orders in ahead of time and they even go so far as to favor us by placing our employee names on the packaging so that it is easy to distribute the food before our lunch meetings.Our team have various tastes and preferences but they can all agree on the quality and deliciousness of the food here. Everytime I call whoever picks up the phone is friendly and helpful.We will be ordering from here for a while to come. Please keep it up, you guys! (3/13/24)”

“My husband and I just recently moved to Indiana, and we were looking for a new diner to frequent when we have the time. We came across Erika's Place by chance (the Cicero location), and decided to stop in and give it a try.The atmosphere is perfect for what we are looking for. Very cozy, homey, and welcoming. The staff are very attentive and very kind. And the food, my goodness the food is incredible. My husband got the western omelet and I got Joe's Frying Pan, and it is the best breakfast we have had in a very long time. Everything was made accurately, and in general was just incredibly tasty. We will definitely be making a stop at Erika's Place a weekly stop.”

“Come to a spot that has a fun vibe! I was able to celebrate my birthday here and we had ten in our group. Found a booth with four chairs that fit all of us. Love the Sassafras Tea! I got the Amendment which was just a bit hotter than I expected. There is an ice cream shop attached that serves different types of shakes. Be prepared to get full! Two types of bbq sauce on a counter to place in cups to take to the table. A bit loud, but for the most part we could carry on a conversation. Fast and friendly service. When you walk in you order at the counter and then receive a receipt with your number and they will call when your order is ready. For dessert be sure to grab the homemade key lime pie in the cooler by the register! It's so good!! When it's warmer outside then they do have outdoor seating as well.”

“The sushi is outstanding. I eat sushi once a week and Chiba is now my new goto place for serval reasons. The bar area is in a separate building with a quaint seating area and a great vibe. The owner Keith is very involved with running the business and doing whatever is necessary from making drinks, taking orders and running plates. Keith is very personable and makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend Chiba and don't miss the spicy tuna and spicy Salmon. Keith makes a mean Sazerac too. I will definitely be back!”

“If you're ever in Tipton Indiana, you must check out this little spot. They are only open to 2 PM and closed on Sundays and Mondays.There is indoor seating. On the warmer days there is also outside seating. Parking can be a challenge. The gentleman that took my order was super friendly. There was a lady who kept interrupting him while he was taking my order. One time, even saying, "what did she say?" It felt awkward....My lavender iced latte was excellent. I had it one other time when I was driving through and stopped in. It's really what I stopped in to get this time. Since it was lunch, I went ahead and ordered the Apple Pecan salad. When I asked what the salad base is. This is another time the lady interrupted and said, "what do you mean?" Such strange interaction with a customer. Salad was GREAT! Food tasted fresh and it was a really nice size salad.I plan to stop in on my next trip and have another salad and lavender iced latte. You should, too!”
