“My husband and I were in town for Thanksgiving and wanted to get together with all our friends. We stopped in the night before to see about reserving tables. Brody was our bartender and took excellent care of us and took my info for the reservation. We went back the next day to meet our friends and they had reserved a whole area for us! As soon as I walked through the door, Brody came out from behind the bar to greet us and show us where we would be sitting! He had such a get personality! Lexi was our waitress and did an AMAZING job taking care of all 25 of us! They both deserve a rise! Thank you both for make our night a great one! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.“
“Much better service and food from our last visit! Staff was friendly, attentive and polite. We had the wings with the famous " the wall" sauce was phenomenal!!! My husband practically licked the sauce off the plate!! I had the Buffalo chicken wrap, definitely needed more chicken and more sauce, next time though. The French fries were hot but skimpy on portions. Also tried the jalapeño margaritas for $7 it's a decent size but not much kick and definitely not enough tequila. Overall it was good and there were definitely enough sports on the 25 tv they have on the wall!!!“
“Cozy pub/eatery off 10th St down from Ben Davis High School. Had the fish sandwich with onion rings and added a side of slaw. Stuffed to the gills, but totally worth it. Friendly service, got my order exactly right, and served up hot and fresh.“
“Recently went to the Kickstand for lunch. I had the Fat Boy double burger. It was very large and prepared properly (cooked through). Served with lettuce, tomato, onion. This was the first time I have had a burger that I couldn't smash down to get a complete bite! The onion rings were OK, not battered in house, and I'd probably go with fries if I had it to do over again. Lunch partner had the wings and they were very meaty. She asked for them to be extra crispy and didn't seem like that request was filled. I tried a couple and thought they were good. Inside was spacious and very much a bar setup. Overall a pretty good place if you are in the area. They were setup so you could pay via scanning a QR code with your phone and then could use the wallet on your phone to Apple Pay or I presume Google Pay, so your card never has to be out of your presence.“
“Had dinner here. The service was very good and fast. Not much in the way of atmosphere. But the menu was nice. My husband ordered the pork shanks. He got two. One was tough and not pleasant to eat the other was ok. I got the fried chicken sandwich. A huge portion of chicken. I enjoyed it. We also got a side of grilled asparagus. Clearly, someone who doesn't know asparagus or how to cook it, made it. The seasoning was good but is all the nice I can say about that.“
“Great catfish filets and fries. Cheese fries were nothing like I have ever seen before, just cheese sauce and sour cream. My husband pointed out they were not described as "loaded". We nonetheless at everyone of them. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Good little bar. Will definitely be back if we are in the area.“
“Friendly people, nice waitress and bartender, good and well maintained Valley bar box tables. Jacob assertively runs the pool tournaments so they are efficient and fairly quick. Needs better air circulation to help dissipate cigarette smoke.“
