“Friendly people, nice waitress and bartender, good and well maintained Valley bar box tables. Jacob assertively runs the pool tournaments so they are efficient and fairly quick. Needs better air circulation to help dissipate cigarette smoke.“

“Excellent food with fast friendly service. Had the pork tenderloin sandwich with tater tots. The sandwich was huge and full of flavor. The tater tots were outstanding and cooked crispy just the way I like them. Also had some of their homemade ranch on the side which was delicious. Beers were served quickly and cold.“

“Stopped in to kill an hour so I had lunch. Bartender was also the cook which was fine her service was good. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger tasted super salty and I put salt on everything so that’s saying something. Overall atmosphere was local guys who were fine and I’d go back but try something else to eat.“

Only complaint, it was Friday evening, and the dining room lights were very bright. Could be dimmer for better atmosphere, and they could use a softer paint color on the walls. The bright white gives it a hospital cafeteria feel.“

“In town for a night on a work trip and stopped in at 9pm for a late dinner. It was a great decision and hope to come back again if I ever find myself in Indianapolis again. If not just to have a drink and play some pool.Chipotle Bricket Sandwich was great. Waitress mentioned it was a new item but the idea was definitely in someones head for a while. Smoked brisket sausage, pulled pork, bacon, cheese and honey chipotle sauce on a pressed sandwich. Delicious and a great way to end my night. Went down great with a Modelo on draft which was another blessing in itself.10/10 would recommend and have already recommended it to anyone if they find themselves in the area. Open late, good drinks, great food, awesome atmosphere.“

“First time here. Had lunch. Went with their signature burger meal. I love whe. Its real beef and cooked to order. Ran that thing through the garden rare. It came like a club sandwhich. Very good. Fries okay and sort of a small serving. Staff is awesome chipper, bubbliy and engaging to the patrons and glasses stayed full. Oh and it was fast for lunch as well as lunch price appropriate. That means you can get a real meal affordably with sports on tv for lunch in time to eat it. Hell yes. Thats important to me anyways. Thanks Jamie!“

“Great place but the wait staff needs to be more consistent on what/how much is charged for drinks. Bought buckets of beer 3Xs, and was charged 3 different prices. Maybe that’s why there isn’t much of a crowd or many people walked in, took one look and walked out!“

“Was in town on work travel and went looking for a “neighborhood bar” to watch a basketball game. Mark’s was indeed that. The guests were welcoming and the service by Christy was great. I sat at the bar and ordered the T-Bone Dinner for $12.99. It exceeded my expectations. I wouldn’t recommend bringing children to this place, but if you want a neighborhood bar feel to grab a few drinks and a bite, this is a great place.“

“Food was excellent, and flavorful. I didn't enjoy the counter service. I definitely think the experience would be better with wait staff. We came in with a large group. It was difficult for all of us to eat together, all of our foods came out at different times. Next time we will just order to go.“
