“The Grove just recently reopened under new ownership and we stopped in to play pool and have a couple beers. We ended up having a few buckets and shots. Then the band Rocking Horse began. They sounded very good. I seen them back in the mid nineties. We danced and had a great time. We didn't eat...this time but we will go back and eat then. In the past the food was really good. We'll know next time.“

“i checked out Twin Peaks with family and thought it was amazing. we ordered the bacon cheese fries with ranch and the appetizer trio to try. the trio included fried pickles, mozzarella cubes, and buffalo chicken tenders. i ordered a side salad with the adult macaroni and cheese. my boyfriend got the jalapeño flatbread pizza. my mother in law got a the sirloin steak and my father in law got the billionaire bacon burger. it was all delicious. the restaurant was crowded but our food was hot and fresh. i loved the taxidermy decor, it's so fun pointing out which animal is where. the waitress and hostess's are all very sweet. i would definitely come back! the food was so flavorful and the portions are great to share!“

“I attended a conference at the Indy Convention Center the last 4 days. Stayed at the JW Marriott. High Velocity is located in that hotel. It became my main eating place during my stay. The food is very good and moderately priced. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the short rib tacos. The service was excellent. I highly recommend High Velocity for those staying at the JW Mariott in Indianapolis.“

“We hosted a group event at the Fowling Warehouse and everyone had an amazing time! The drinks were affordable and delicious, especially the mystery beer and the slashes. We really enjoyed the BYO food, which made this an even more cost effective for a group event. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. “I was in with a group of 10 on Monday night during the Purdue group. Tori was our server. She was excellent! Our group came in at scattered times and she was there within seconds it felt. We never went without a drink or her checking on us to insure we had everything we need. Very impressed with her.“

“It's a total dive, but it literally has the miloyst diverse crowd I've ever seen. Hippies and socialites in fur coats .lol ..cheap basic drinks. Always seems to be something going on. I recently moved to neighborhood so it's 2 seconds away. Also as a single woman. The vibe was chill and the bartenders are mindful. Never felt uncomfortable stopping for a drink in the way on home, or getting a cocktail on a random Tuesday by myself. I never felt like prey, so ++ on that.“

Great atmosphere, lots of TVs and great music playing. At the entrance someone asks to see your ID and if you go late it does get pretty busy. My husband and I went at 10 pm the 1st night on Thursday, then went for lunch on Saturday.“

“To celebrate my son’s 21st birthday, we took him to Indiana on vacation to the Annual Fall Festival-Makers Market hosted by INDY HAMMERED KNIVES on September 30th. We found the best bar called KITLEY INN on 825 S. Kitley Ave., across from the Indianapolis Speedrome. The bartender, Lori, was so nice and attentive. She was always there right as we finished our beer/drink. We even went back the next evening and Lori remembered us and our beverage order. The food was also fantastic. The place wasn’t super busy, but we went early around 5:00 or 6:00pm and everyone was nice. The other customers even took pictures for us. They played good country music while we were there, and the music wasn’t overly loud. I definitely recommend Kitley Inn for good cold beer/drinks, good music, good food, and a great atmosphere.“

Like they are on a mission to make sure everyone is taken care of. Ryan is a great server (we’ve gotten him a few times now that we’ve visited), & when we were in tonight the manager was running all over the place making sure people are good, running the host stand, running food, etc. He was killing it! The employees are all committed to making sure the experience is great. There may be a little bit of a wait to sit, but once you sit the food comes out really fast & it’s super fresh! “Always have a good time here. The food is above average for a bar, and worth the wait because it doesn't get ready fast. We always have to walk up to the bar to get our drinks and clear our table when we have too many empty bottles. I have only been here through the week for lunch or drinks after work and not on weekends. The bar itself is large enough to spread out, there's 3 pool tables and maybe 7 dartboards, a decent outdoor patio, and a big center bar. There's also cramped parking on both sides of the building. The service is the only struggle here, if they had a second bartender/server on weeknights and you were given cutlery and condiments with your food this place would get 5 stars from me.“

“Inside of the igloo smelled of plastic. After being in it for awhile I became used to it. Igloo was heated and comfortable. The igloo for 8 fit 6 comfortably. Very cute Xmas decorations inside. Food was delicious and affordable. Waiter was exceptional!“
