“Food was pretty good. My wife had the Tenderloin and would definitely get it again.I had a Cheeseburger and it was very good as well. Pizza was definitely the favorite item ordered as I looked around at what others ordered.Service was spotty. There were long periods of time our server was missing. Actually, I couldn't locate her and had to go into the bar to get our check. Never did find her.Great old restaurant/bar, and it's definitely significant history. I always find it interesting to have food in a place where so many others have had food for decades and decades.“
“Every time we have visited this Back Nine location we have had excellent service, been greeted very politely by friendly staff, and we have always felt like the staff does what ever they can to accommodate requests. “It's a total dive, but it literally has the miloyst diverse crowd I've ever seen. Hippies and socialites in fur coats .lol ..cheap basic drinks. Always seems to be something going on. I recently moved to neighborhood so it's 2 seconds away. Also as a single woman. The vibe was chill and the bartenders are mindful. Never felt uncomfortable stopping for a drink in the way on home, or getting a cocktail on a random Tuesday by myself. I never felt like prey, so ++ on that.“

I love there food since I was very young but there pizza sauce has changed significantly over the years and it's just not what it used to be years ago ! But it's still really really good . “The bartender was friendly right from the moment we walked in. We had our kids with us and it was very comfortable for us. The food came out very quickly and it was all FANTASTIC! We all had something different and every meal was full of flavor. I should know, I tried all the food my family ordered. The French fries were great and the Cole slaw was perfect. 10/10 I absolutely recommend eating here! We stayed at Staybridge Suites and it was a 2 block walk.“
“Came with enough cash to pay for 2 burgers at the website price, (because they only take cash) only to discover the website prices are out of date. Had to get cash at the ATM in house and pay a $4 ATM fee. Please be courteous and update your website prices. Burger was great“
“I love White Horse. The chef is amazing when they have food. 90% of the time I come for food and bring my friends along. I love bragging to my friends about how good their wings are and that’s because of the chef, Jordan. She is so amazing and recognizes us. I love her cooking so much!! The restrooms were clean and well stocked. The cake on the shakes are moist and delicious, not just a decoration!! The Birthday song and dance were amazing ! We witnessed 2 of those presentations and one just the birthday song. Make your reservation, ask Carter your questions, and make sure you visit the Candy Store!! The Gummies, jelly beans and Rocks are waiting to go home with you. It is hard to imagine this place having down time.“

“I was visiting a friend at St. Francis hospital and drove by Barton's with a "Now Open" sign. I hadn't had lunch, so I pulled in to check out a new pub.The bar felt like a fun neighborhood bar with everyone knowing each other. Today at lunch, the crowd was mostly older, 55+, with younger patrons entering ( around 2:00 p.m.) as we dined. As you enter, you walk directly in front of the bar. A half-wall separates the bar from the 2 - and 4-top tables plus high-tops. The game area is in the back of the bar with pool tables, dart boards, and a jukebox with all tall-top tables or standing bar ledges in the back.The menu offers the standard pub options with a nice selection of appetizers, burgers, tenderloins, sandwiches, salads, and dinner options. Today's lunch special was a chicken fettuccine ($10.99) or shrimp Fettuccine ($1 upcharge for shrimp) served with garlic toast. The Shrimp and Broccoli Fettuccine was a large serving and very tasty, but I had to take most of it home.The bartender/server could not have been nicer, super efficient, and made me feel very welcome. She covered the entire restaurant and didn't miss a beat.I definitely would stop back in when I'm in the area. It's fun to be in a neighborhood bar where friends hang out together.“

“Food was made fresh and tasted great. Only downside from my experience is that they’re cash only and didn’t mention that until after I had finished my lunch. Their resolution was an ATM in the back of the bar, which is a great idea in theory, but it didn’t have any cash in it. I ended up driving down to a gas station to their ATM and getting cash. Bottom line, if you’re in the mood for some great bar food, stop here…just bring cash“

“Incredible food! We got the 5th Ave wings which are tossed in whatever flavor you want and then passed through a flame leaving the wings super juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The pork tenderloin sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the fries are the perfect blend of crispy and fluffy. Service was very friendly and cheerful, and the restaurant playlist was great as well!“
