I read some the the reviews and tried it for myself.The tenderloin sandwiches are the best I've ever had, period! Benny recommended the Pepperoni rolls...Let me tell ya, these are huge and were amazing.I Highly recommend giving this place a try. It is under new management and I will be back!!The photos on the wall were hilarious.

We ended up here because we didn't realize there was a game and downtown was busy. Even though we weren't planning on eating here, I'm glad we did. Everything was really good, they even made a grilled cheese for my child without it being on the menu (no kids menu). It was a little loud but I probably could have asked to be on the other side of the restaurant.

The service and atmosphere were fine, as expected, but the food was not worth the price at all. The “hand-tossed” pizza we ordered was ultra thin, the salad was nothing special nor substantial for the $16 it cost, and the wait time for just these two was upwards of 45 minutes. I’m not sure where all these comments are coming from saying the menu improved from Aver’s - I would readily disagree. It was a pretty disappointing experience.

Super Bowl Sunday and Hoosier Hanks knows how to deal with a crowd. Very welcoming, friendly and didn't require the entire party to be present to be seated!! It is busy and the server is doing a great job keeping drinks refilled and our party happy!

I have been to Hanks multiple times. Each time I have went I have been greeted with a warm welcoming and told about deals they have going on. This last time there was a problem with my pizza. I didn't think to check before I left because they have never messed up on my order before. I called the store and they were very apologetic and wanted to make it right. The manager said that he or a cook would be happy to remake my pizza, DELIVER it, and send a gift card to make it right. This is above and beyond any customer service I have ever received. Most places I have dealt with in the past act as if I am "bothering them" if I call to let them know my order was messed up. Not Hanks on the Eastside, they were attentive, apologetic, and offered to make it right. Our family will definitely keep ordering from Hanks. We love the meatlocker pizza on thin crust as well as their pepperoni rolls. My husband is a fan of their wings. So far everything we have had there has been good! Good food and most importantly GREAT service. We are locked in with Hanks! Thank you for showing appreciation to your customers through your great customer service!Kid-friendliness: They offered my children Hanks basketballs and footballs. They were warm and welcoming to my kiddos.

This was formerly Avers and I'd argue the menu has improved significantly.Good selection of local beers on tap and a good selection of canned/bottled from elsewhere.I've had the pizza ? every time I've come here and really enjoyed it. Some very solid flavor combinations, pizza comes out hot and fresh. The pepperoni rolls are great, and I an looking forward to trying a few more menu items.Hasn't been particularly crowded so its been a good place to have a beer or grab some food and watch a game on the big TVs without a huge crowd. Servers and staff have been very good, the manager on site has been awesome when he has waited on us.

Only thing for me to say here is GO TRY IT OUT! Worth it. The food is outstanding and the service is great. Been twice in the past couple of weeks and both trips were outstanding. The pork tenderloin was very good, quality meat and cooked perfectly. The pizza was excellent and the bread sticks even better. When they hit the table, sprinkle them with the parmesan!!! Get the cheese dip and the marinara as both are delicious. If Nadia is around ask for her section, I promise she will take good care of you!!

If you are looking for great wings this is the place. They are big and meaty with tons of great flavor sauces. The mango habanero is awesome. Service was great and they had football and beer. Will definitely be back. Guys it’s a great place to hang out while the wife is in hobby lobby.
