So it's hard for me to give a star rating because we came after the post-eclipse rush (and Hilligoss didn't have much left), but I also wanted to share the photos. Given the one donut I had (raspberry filled), it was definitely better than your standard fare - good quality, maybe a little sweet but more personal preference, maybe a little small but overall a solid donut. I had a taste of the oatmeal raisin cookie too - which tasted homemade with the nutty oat flavors and a bits of salt - I could see it not being everyone's favorite but still a good cookie. Definitely didn't expect the place to be so sold out so early (as it seems many reviews are saying), but the eclipse crowd probably definitely contributed to the shortage. Happy for the bakery though :)

Better than the rest, and not $2 a donut like rest as well. Soft, light, fluffy donuts. The glaze is a little flaky and can get messy but it's well worth it. Probably the best donut I've ever had.

This place is a community staple. The line was short but those in line were singing the praises of this spot. It was my first time and I was happy to see a local place with a line on a Tuesday morning around 9am. I got one yeast donut and one cake donut. Both were so obviously fresh. I'm normally a LONGS BAKERY person but when I'm in Brownsburg, I'm a Hilligoss gal. Theyve got it figured out here. The store is simple but if it ain't broke, don't fix it!Parking: It's a store front that shares lot with a strip plaza type of place. There is a young lady, maybe in her late 20s early 30 who needs better customer service. I would hand her my card or cash and in return she would not hand it back to me, instead, she would put it down on the Counter. This happened several times. It's just a little weird..

HANDS DOWN, 〜*THE BEST DONUTS IN CENTRAL INDIANA‼︎ FCFS so you MUST get there early or you’ll be s.o.l. I’ve gotten there ~9am before and to my surprise, a handful of donut holes and some jelly-filled nonsense was all that was left?. I learned my lesson so if the craving hits I have to stop after dropping my daughters off for school around 7:30 and there’s still plenty of the best types to choose from? ?.〜*I grew up consuming solely Long’s Donuts from the Haughville location & Hilligoss comes in at a very close 2nd…not Pana, not Rise n Roll, not Carl’s can compare??. My Grandma and I used to pickup donuts every Sunday morning to resell at church and they’ll forever be #1♥️. & still “Cash Only”?

The donuts are fantastic but the costumer service is the worst. i stopped in yesterday morning and the ladies behind the desk were stone cold and only spoke to me once my entire visit to tell me my total. i’ve gone to this bakery forever because of the quality of food but the customer service really needs improvement.

Some of the best donuts Ive had in the area. I got the lemon filled and creme filled powdered donuts; soft and delicious. The staff were friendly and greeted me upon my arrival helping me pick out my donuts as as first time visitor. The ambiance is very home like. Highly recommend!

In town, staying with relatives while I attend a funeral, and my favorite auntie surprised me with my favorite donut from y'all. It was delish!! Light, but chewy. Not dry, and the perfect amount of frosting. Yum!

Amazing bakery with delicious donuts and krofe. We special order the krofe for events and they make it amazing each time. The prices seem in line with other bakeries and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is right off the main street and is convenient and easy. One of the better bakeries I've been to.

Having recently moved here, I knew nothing about Hilligoss, but had noticed all the cars in the morning on the weekend, so I decided to check it out. Might be the busiest business in Brownsburg before 8AM, I had to wait in a 10 person line, but boy was it worth it!The glazed cake donut is quite literally the best donut I've had in my life. Has a nice crunch to it, and the glaze is just sweet enough, not overpowering. The Pecan Carmel danish was also incredible.Highly recommend getting here first thing in the morning, as many have commented they run out quickly, and I could see that being the case. I was the only one not getting 1-5 dozen at a time.

Hilligoss has been my go to bakery for years. Everyone I have ever dealt with has been nothing but helpful and kind. Their donuts are the best! Get there early for more of a variety. I stopped there once at 8am and the line wrapped all around the store! It's just that good!
