“My first time I had ever been to Lighthouse and it was so worth it.the bartender ( Lauren ) not only made fantastic drinks but she also knew the menu and was able to guide me on what to get. The service from Lauren was amazing and I will definitely be coming back.”

“Food, so good I will ride a mobility scooter 10 miles an hour for a length of a half a mile in the cold, blistering wind to receive my nourishment from the Cedar Lake kitchen. Staff tremendously helpful and friendly, making me feel at home. It’s where family and friends meet.”

“I have ordered Rosati's pizza delivery many times. Delivery was excellent however our pizza tonight was definitely not up to the regular standards. The crust was soggy, it was light on sauce, and could have cooked a few minutes more. I will continue to order Rosati pizza as I feel it is the best in the area. Maybe just a difficult night for the cook.”

“The history of this tavern is one of the best in Lake County Indiana. Positioned in what used to be an old Indiana town where the stagecoach used to stop here to give its passengers a rest, eats and drink. What a wonderful building . a building that even holds in the basement stories of the prohibition . A place that one day progress will destroy. Enjoy it while it’s still here..”

“We have been to Bugaboo’s three times now! Love the food, the staff, the atmosphere and will be making this our go to place! The only bad thing I would say is don’t choose the blue cheese dressing (bottled) just ask for more crumbles!”

“I have seen this place there since I was young. we were out with some friends and decided to swing in. It is a quaint, little old homey bar. we loved it!!! The building looks like it is original to the town. (I love old vintage buildings, etc). We bought a round of drinks, hung out for a while, shot a game of pool. The customers and the bartender were very friendly!! Be aware they are a cash only bar (they do have an ATM inside) and it is a smoking bar so if you are sensitive to smoke. We will be back!! The one thing I noticed they changed the sign in the parking lot they had for years. I loved how it had a picture of the parking lot and had some cars, but also had a snowmobile and motorcycle parked together. Odd combination....but humorous!! 🤣 We will be back to support this local business!!”

“Nice coffee shop with a relaxed atmosphere, I stop by every now and then for a coffe. It is a great place to bring your laptop or tablet and get caught up on business or just meet friends for coffee and a light linch.”

“Great lunch and dinner spot with excellent service and cute decor. The bar menu is fantastic (Modelo on draft!) and tasty chips and salsa. I loved the crispy cheese in the queso fundido from the smoking hot platter. I definitely recommend sharing with three or four. Posole was good, but made better with the habanero salsa served with the steak tacos. I've had better steak tacos, but they were still good.According to the signs, Thursday is BOGO half off entrees. We'll definitely come back to try a mixed drink and different meal.”

“I come here often for dinner when the kids and I are on the run. They are usually fairly quick and the staff is good when it comes to getting the order correct. The food has gone a little downhill, but it's all the same at every DQ, well almost everywhere. Prices are continuing to rise and quality continues to go down or portions get smaller. In all if you are looking for fast food I recommend coming here. Their chicken strip basket is delish, and they have the best ranch! Their cheese curds are way better than Culvers as well. If you are looking for a decent deal, they have a $7 value meal that is pretty decent as well.”

“I forgot to write this review of June 13th before I left Indiana for New York and a few days before. I really enjoy the hotdogs with french fries. There was another time for the cheeseburger and fries. I hope to come back eat the food again once I am in Indiana.”

“Great little pizza joint. The footlong beef or stromboli is simply awesome. Get it with cheese and hot gardinair if you like that "bite". Fed me Fri night sat night Sunday lunch lol. Hidden gem.”
