“We visited Ahlemeyer Bakery last week. Though I've been wanting to write a post about their pies since then, life got in the way. We bought three pies: apple, mixed berries, and sugar cream. Oh, the sweet taste of American pies! I'm salivating just thinking about them. My favorite was their apple pie: a perfect blend of tart and sweet. Their pie crust, oh heaven, was soft, airy, crunchy, and buttery. I could form a mattress out of that pie crust and sink my whole body in there for eternity. And, may I recommend vanilla ice cream to go with them pies? Your life will feel so complete, even just for a sweet moment.”

“The parlor is a glimpse of amazing history. The ice cream actually tastes like homemade (made on site). Very delish. We had the brownie sundae. It was a huge serving! Hot fudge was amazing! They do serve sandwiches, etc. There is a lot of antique instruments. One was playing while there. Added nicely to the atmosphere. Service was great. Jennifer was very friendly and she provided great service. Nice conversation. Very clean place from Parlor to the restroom. Would go back!!! Nice Jeep drive from two hours away.”

“We have been here for a few years and kept driving by the place, until a friend brought us flan from this bakery. After that, we had to make a trip to this bakery! Don’t skip on this place! You walk in, and pick up whatever you like and take it up front. They have delicious pastries; we bought the chocoflan, some custard filled pastries and other goodies.”

“I normally get the batter dipped fish, but no more. From now on I'm getting the grilled fish. AMAZING, DELICIOUS. You get one good sized piece and loads of flavor. It's lightly seasoned, flaky and has a wonderful taste.
You can get either Whitefish, Salmon or Tilapia. I had the Whitefish.
It is worth every penny !

I will choose this spot over Subway any day. Better quality sandwiches for lower prices and you support a local small business. My CBS always has LOTS of meat, sub bun is always soft and they never hesitate to substitute an item if they can. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“It’s about the most typical Applebee’s you can imagine. The food is Applebee’s food. It always comes out hot which is a plus and tastes like what you expect it to taste like. Sometimes the service is slow and sometimes it’s fast, it depends more on how busy they are than the quality of service. Never had a bad experience with the staff, most of the time it’s right down the middle, but have had some great experiences occasionally.”

This Starbucks location never disappoints! I stopped by and ordered a Venti Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai Tea and a Grande Caramel Brûlée Latte, and both were absolutely perfect. The chai was spiced just right with the gingerbread flavor adding a cozy holiday touch, and the oatmilk made it so smooth. The Caramel Brûlée Latte was rich, creamy, and full of festive flavor—perfect for a chilly day.

The baristas were friendly, quick, and got my order exactly right, even during a busy rush. The atmosphere was welcoming, and my drinks were served with a smile. This is definitely my go-to Starbucks for great drinks and great service! Highly recommend!”

“The Nutrition Lounge has been my go-to spot since high school! My friends and I used to stop by before and after the gym, and even after graduation, we still keep the tradition alive. The vibes are always great, the drinks are phenomenal, and there’s such a wide variety of flavors and fun combos. One of my favorites is The Olympian, which is a cool nod to being close to East. Definitely a spot worth checking out!”

It's a 20 minute drive one way. just to get home to figure out my peanut butter and hot fudge with vanilla base was just plain vanilla. no big deal if it was just a 5 minute drive. but to go back is a 40 minute drive. We went to Chili's because they advertised a happy from 3 to 6, thinking we'd get some half priced appetizers and discounted beer. When we got there we found in order to get happy hour prices we had to sit at the bar! Not just in the bar area but on a stool at the bar! Are you kidding me!? We had a 12 year old with us so that wasn't an option. The advertising on the website didn't mention this "detail". Other than that, our food was good. I had the ultimate Cajun pasta. It was excellent. The portion size was more than I could eat. The service was outstanding. Our waiter, "The Black Eagle", had a great personality and did a great job. Overall, I'd say that the place does not need to advertise a happy hour that is limited to a dozen seats at the bar in order to lure customers in. The food and service is good enough to draw in customers. If you are looking for a late afternoon happy hour in the entire restaurant or bar there is a better option just up the street.”

They were so sweet and gracious to our family of 8 dining in! We have found a new favorite Chinese restaurant in Columbus!! Everything was delicious but our favorites were the bourbon chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. The crab Rangoon was excellent as well. We will definitely be returning! We may make it a Christmas Eve tradition, but we won't wait a year before returning. Very very Good!!”
