“We've been enjoying Upland since they opened. Great food, beer and top notch service. Tonight we had dinner in one of their igloos. It was so cozy and perfect! Appetizers of chicken wings and warn pretzels were a great start. We loved our burgers and tofu Thai salad. We finished with scrumptious cherry chocolate bread pudding a warm brownie. Everything was perfect! Friendly service too.”

“I wish I could pick a favorite item on the menu but it's impossible when EVERYTHING tastes phenomenal. You get fresh, clean flavors with unlike most places who offer mass produced meals. I would eat from here for every meal if I could. The avocado toast leaves you feeling full without that heavy feeling and the spinach croissant is buttery, savory and light. I'm a iced coffee person and the Vietnamese coffee with some vanilla/hazelnut offers just enough sweetness and there's no bitter taste to the coffee. Hands down 10/10 🌟 recommended.”

“Every time we go, we always pick-up some of the Jalepeño Cheese bread. I have yet to find anything in there that is not delicious and it seems like they're always open!!! The minute you walk in you're hit with the amazing scents of fresh-baked goods. If you haven't been, you need to go.”

“We visited Ahlemeyer Bakery last week. Though I've been wanting to write a post about their pies since then, life got in the way. We bought three pies: apple, mixed berries, and sugar cream. Oh, the sweet taste of American pies! I'm salivating just thinking about them. My favorite was their apple pie: a perfect blend of tart and sweet. Their pie crust, oh heaven, was soft, airy, crunchy, and buttery. I could form a mattress out of that pie crust and sink my whole body in there for eternity. And, may I recommend vanilla ice cream to go with them pies? Your life will feel so complete, even just for a sweet moment.”

We shared a roast beef sandwich was toasted and had a mild horseradish sauce, pickles and onions on the side, this sandwich was excellent and the French fries were tasty. The atmosphere was a bar/restaurant with loud music and then FF came the karaoke. This place is definitely for young people to go eat drink beef or friends and listen to loud music. The location was fantastic. It was downtown from our hotel, very easy walk”

“The parlor is a glimpse of amazing history. The ice cream actually tastes like homemade (made on site). Very delish. We had the brownie sundae. It was a huge serving! Hot fudge was amazing! They do serve sandwiches, etc. There is a lot of antique instruments. One was playing while there. Added nicely to the atmosphere. Service was great. I will choose this spot over Subway any day. Better quality sandwiches for lower prices and you support a local small business. “First time at Phoshiki since new ownership. Ordered 2 extra large rare beef pho and 2 teriyaki pork kids meals. The food was still as delicious as before. Appreciated the amount of beef given for the pho. Kids enjoyed their meals as well. Don't care for the price increase, but who does lol. I appreciate that the food was still good despite the price increase. One concern for me was the Sriracha sauce. It was NOT Sriracha sauce. It looked and tasted like cocktail sauce. When we discussed this with one of the employees, she defensively insisted that it was Sriracha sauce and they didn't have cocktail sauce at their restaurant. The taste was sweet and very similar to horseradish which tastes very similar to a traditional cocktail sauce. For me, there's nothing like eating a bowl of pho with good Sriracha sauce. I'm sad this wasn't the case yesterday. We managed with just the hoisin sauce. Would I go back? Probably, but I'll still be upset they don't have Sriracha sauce.”

The vibes are always great, the drinks are phenomenal, and there’s such a wide variety of flavors and fun combos. One of my favorites is The Olympian, which is a cool nod to being close to East. “My family came here on Christmas Eve when the power was out. They were one of the few restaurants open. They were excellent!! Fresh made! They were so sweet and gracious to our family of 8 dining in! We have found a new favorite Chinese restaurant in Columbus!! Everything was delicious but our favorites were the bourbon chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. The crab Rangoon was excellent as well. We will definitely be returning! We may make it a Christmas Eve tradition, but we won't wait a year before returning. Very very Good!!”
