“Such a cute shop in an old bank in Darmstadt! I only got my coffee to go, but there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy your food or drink. The workers were able to give recommendations on what Holiday drink I should get! They have fall drinks currently. I love supporting local and I will definitely come back!”

“The cake I got from Gayla was perfect. Everything my daughter asked for on her birthday cake. Handcrafted mermaid on top of the cake just like she asked for. It was also the first confetti cake I've tasted that wasn't dried out and still delicious. Gayla crushed it.”

I really enjoyed my hot tea, and the gluten free macarons are great! I was impressed by the bakery service. The first service rep was fine, and somewhat helpful about gluten free. I understand asking if it's an allergy or choice for cooking purposes. Most people who find it necessary don't love announcing the why. I'm necessary. The only negative was the young man delivering food and such. He was brusque. I asked for a box ahead of time knowing we would have to leave for work. My colleague and I were shocked when he sort of tossed it curtly at me. Not polite. I observed similar behavior again. Let's remember customers notice all manners.”

“My wife and I both got the chicken ramen. It was delicious. Spicy oil they bring is pretty good too. I like spicy and i poured half of the oil and it was enough. The broth was amazing!Also got the crab rangoon and a sushi roll. Sushi roll was crisp and delicious. Crab rangoon was good too but nothing special.Place needs to be filled up with booths on the wall side and tables in the middle in my opinion.Prices were very affordable. We will definitely be back! “I can’t say enough how much I love this place. Best tacos in town! I finally tried their shrimp taco and it blew me away. Best shrimp taco in town for sure. Everything was delicious as always. So much flavor. Even the tortillas are perfectly grilled, warm, soft and crispy. It’s always like being back home in LA when I’m here tasting their food. Also, I want to note that this place is always so clean and the staff always super friendly and helpful! Shrimp, Carnitas, Asada, Al Pastor! All soooo yummy!”

“I stumbled upon Rick’s on Thanksgiving night after our family afternoon meal and was amazed to learn that they had a FREE Thanksgiving buffet for any customer! Had great and warm service from Mary the bartender, who said they do it every year for people who don’t have another place to go.Such generosity, and honestly the meal was better than the one I had had earlier! I only wish they were open longer, as I usually have to race across town to catch them before closing time.Notes:I’m not usually a chocolate pie kind of guy, but the chocolate chess was a hit for me and the office.Pecan pie is perfect. More pecan’s than filling!Muffins are moist and perfect texture/consistency. Typically only one seasonal flavor though; at least in my limited experience.”

“I went to Entwined for the first time for a cocktail last night. I asked for a specific type of martini that took a couple of extra steps for the bartender and he made it perfectly for me even though he was busy cashing out maybe 7 or 8 people at that time. Kevin was super kind and knowledgeable of what Entwined offers, suggesting the mushroom risotto for my next visit. It’s an aesthetically pleasing bar with a cocktail menu that compliments their vibe.
