“Just getting back from our nashville trip, tired not wanting to cook, we scrolled through food on Google and stumbled on Lonestar! Let me tell yall! First, these guys know how to make cornbread! And It ain't cracker barrel bread! Second, we did order a tad late, so they were sold out of brisket and ribs (the 2 I was wanting lol), the lady on the phone was nice and when we picked the order up, they apologized but also told us to order sooner, lesson learned yall because if the chicken and pork is this dang good those ribs are probably fall of the bone and out of your chair, slap your grandma good! So I ended up getting the 2 meat combo and hubby got the Texas torpedo. My God! ❤️ BEST $36 spent in a while, including Nashville food!! Enough food for left over lunch tomorrow:) we are die hard support you local small business believers, and I'll tell ya what! This is one that will continue to have out business! (I didn't rate the atmosphere due to not dining in, but hubby said everyone was super nice when he picked up our food). Next time we will sit in! If yall want some actual real food, you can taste and smell the smoke, friendly, fast and well worth every penny??? GO EAT HERE AND SUPORRT THIS PLACE! We all know here in evansville, not a lot of places make it real far! Let's give these guys our business! Thank yall for good food and good service! We will be back! :)”

He states it was just as authentic as his family members would make it! We started with the Papa Ala Huancaina as an appetizer and for dinner we had the Lomo Saltado, Green Spaghetti con bistec, and the Pollo A La Plancha! I had to try their fried Platains and for dessert we had their Tres Leches Cake! I wish this place had more attention!”

Samuel’s is one of my fiancé’s favorite places to dine and for some reason I hadn’t been. Now that I’ve been, we will be making this a regular spot. For appetizers we ordered the truffle fries and the brussel sprouts. They were both cooked to perfection and exploding with flavor. If you liked those items at CKB when it was open, then you’ll love these. For entrees we had the steak and hot chicken sandwich. Both were phenomenal. The menu prices are extremely reasonable. In fact, I think the prices are a tad low given the high quality of the product. If you haven’t checked out this gem, you’re missing out.”

Started out by introducing herself & told us the specials & recommendations. We opted for the Cheesy shrimp poppers as our appetizer & split a whole loaded Stromboli. Wow! Everything was hot, fresh & delicious! The lady from the kitchen (sorry I didn’t get her name) knew we were splitting the strom & brought it out to us on separate plates. We stumbled upon some food trucks and ultimately decided to stop at Krispy Krunchy Chicken's 305 Chicken on Wheels. Man, was it worth the stop!I got a chicken meal which came with a honey biscuit and a side of my choice, and not only was everything flavorful, but I got all of this, sauce, and a drink for under $13!My friends loved it too - the chicken definitely lived up to its name!! Completely worth the stop if you're looking for a quick and delicious lunch, dinner, or late night grub!!!Hot tip: For seating, there's a number of picnic tables outside of their food truck and also across the street.”

“Can go there for a qucik great crispy sub that is made right in front of you. You can add whatever you like to your sandwich, choose diffrent types of bread, or wether to have it toasted or not. If you don't like chips you can subsitute it for 2 cookies or even a bowl of delicious soup. If you are supplying for a large group of people you can get one of their great party trays. You can get whatever type of bread you'd like then put which type of meat. Then they give you a tray with all types of sides you love on your sandwich.”

The convenience for us was that it sat next door to our hotel, so in all hours of the day or night we had a restaurant that catered to my love of breakfast and my husband's love of whatever he fancied for the day. They just added large TV’s in the back with Sunday Ticket too and now have a lot more seating available. They’re open on Sundays too and have 5 beers on tap and bottled as well. I highly reccomend.”

I booked the event room .. explain Arrival time was 815-830.. so when guest started to arrive at exactly 815 the room was not ready at all .. every table was filled with dishes. I had approx 20 people five or take I told them on the phone that morning.. they finally got 2 sets of 2 tables that comfortably was set up in the main dining room as 4 to table they crammed 10 chairs to these tables.. when I asked for another set of tables to be cleaned our server wouldn’t speak to me but rolled her eyes so I went to talk to someone else.. when they approached her with me she told me that she was my server. And she still has not started cleaning tables instead she told me there were 20 chairs total at those tables.. I had to get upset and told her we were crammed and everyone unhappy and told her I wanted 2 more tables cleaned.. PLEASE!!! Finally she did with an attitude and goin so slow like it killed her.. she was prob 25yr old .. then she sat out on her phone and I had to get up and get her if we needed drinks or anything. It would been a great night if had a good server.”

Second, we did order a tad late, so they were sold out of brisket and ribs (the 2 I was wanting lol), the lady on the phone was nice and when we picked the order up, they apologized but also told us to order sooner, lesson learned yall because if the chicken and pork is this dang good those ribs are probably fall of the bone and out of your chair, slap your grandma good! So I ended up getting the 2 meat combo and hubby got the Texas torpedo. My God! ❤️ BEST $36 spent in a while, including Nashville food!! Enough food for left over lunch tomorrow:) we are die hard support you local small business believers, and I'll tell ya what! This is one that will continue to have out business! Green River Rd - now 300 block with the dedicated restaurant building). 2) The "Chicago Dog" isn't even close to being a "Chicago Dog" - by miles. I have a pet peeve about restaurants naming foods that aren't actually the foods they're serving and this is one of the most egregious I've seen. It may be a good dog, but it is flatly NOT a Chicago Dog. 3) The "dressed" burger is anemic, at best. The burger itself is not bad, but the stuff on it is . . . weak. I've seen better dressed burgers at McDonalds. 4) The staff *barely* understands English. I wouldn't care if they spoke only Spanish - it's not an America uber Alles thing. But if they're going to do business with Americans they should be at least minimally fluent (or maybe have a point-and-grunt board for common things). They're friendly enough, but L-rd, they're not capable of much at all in English. It's like day one in an ESL class in there (I know - I've taught them before). The chili nachos are amazing. I've tried the "Mexican Fries" which were a hot mess of slop but edible and different. I've had a very large quesadilla there that was good. I tried their "Mexican Hot Dog" (apparently "Mexican" means "smothered in mayonnaise" - both the fries and the hot dog were and that was about the only thing they had in common). I'm working my way through the menu, slowly, and the negatives definitely outweigh positives, but the place is far from perfect. Not being able to correctly spell "chili" was a little odd. At some point you'd think they'd just run their menu through Google Translate or something to spell check it.”

“The pizza is good with a lot of different specialties and toppings to choose from. Crust is thin with a bit of a cracker texture so has a light snap with each bite. Menu has plenty of appetizers as well. Staff is really friendly, and even when it gets busy the wait isn't too long. They have take-out, plenty of parking, and is a great place for larger parties.”

“Always have Mondays off and we've been trying a different "bar & grill" every week. Today we came here a little earlier than we normally get out and we're in the mood for breakfast. We tried their ham, egg, and cheese potatoes. We loved the fact that the grill was directly behind the bar and could watch the food be cooked. Serving size was more than expected and we got full. Love the idea that you can purchase a bottle of liquor to take home when you're done and it saves a stop at a liquor store later. Waitress was very accommodating and polite. We will definitely be back again !!”

Started out by introducing herself & told us the specials & recommendations. We opted for the Cheesy shrimp poppers as our appetizer & split a whole loaded Stromboli. Wow! Everything was hot, fresh & delicious! The lady from the kitchen (sorry I didn’t get her name) knew we were splitting the strom & brought it out to us on separate plates. My husband got the "Madlove" burger w/fries and I got the "Lava Queso" burger w/onion rings (with lettuce wrap no bun and the onion rings were mehhh). Hubby absolutely loved it! His had golden layers of cheeses, avocado, bacon, and all the fixins! 7 layers to be exact. Mine was juicy, flavorful, and came with some of the best queso I have ever had. Everything was pretty decent except there was an abundance of salt on my onion rings. Who puts salt on onion rings??? I had to scrape it off just to eat them. Is it just me or has fast food service gone in the toilet the last few years?”

“Our very first visit here... This is part of Bally's Casino in Evansville, Indiana so it would not be fare to compare to places we have dined at in Las Vegas at casinos. We made reservations in advance and were seated right away upon our arrival. The staff was very polite and professional. Our table was by the window with a river view. The restaurant was nicely dimmed and the atmosphere was one of fine dining. The singing piano player in the bar area was an unexpected surprise and was very enjoyable. We started our meal with a couple of appetizers, my wife had the French Onion Soup and found it tasty. I had the Tuna Poke, it was ok but can't say I would order it again. For our dinner my wife had the Prime Rib (which comes by itself). I had a chef feature the Blackened Redfish over Corn salsa. We split an order of Augratan Potatoes. Wifey loved the Prime Rib and she knows her prime rib!!! The Potatoes were a hit!!! The fish was good but would have been helped with a little more blackening and some more viscous sauce. The bread accompanying the meal was fresh but does not come warm to the table. A nice touch was the fresh roasted garlic that comes with the butter. The meal was very enjoyable and filling, service as great! Only reason I don't do five stars is I save that for places that go above and beyond. Dinner for 2 was about $150. We felt that was a fare price for what we received. Nice stop for a weekend getaway dinner.”

“Love Main St. Turoni's, it looks and smells like a pizza shop should. My wife and I prefer to sit on the bar side by the window but you get the best pizza in Evansville regardless. We've always had good service, good food and a good time here. I recommend.”
