“I didn't order any food when I recently visited Spanky's - a bar and grill located in a small strip mall located at 15213 101st Ave. in Dyer, Indiana. I had a few drinks, served by the very kind bartenders, and really enjoyed the live music with my friends and family! You can smoke in the bar, but it is pretty well venhilated, according to my non-smoking friends. There is a decent sized stage, plenty of space to sit at at the bar or at the tables in front of the stage, and there wasn't a wait for the bathrooms. There were three stalls available in the ladies room, which were clean, and it was nice not having to wait! Prices for the drinks were very reasonable. If music isn't your thing, there were plenty of TV's to watch - showing the news, gameshows, and sports games. I had an awesome time, they had amazing musicians, and I look forward to going back soon!Parking: Because the bar is located within a strip club, parking can be limited. There are signs in front of the businesses that state only customers for that business can park there. There IS free, additional parking located behind the strip mall, though.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar that features adult music. You might just want to leave the children at home with a baby sitter if you're going late!Wheelchair accessibility: There are parking spots for disabled individuals. Those with wheelchairs shouldn't have much trouble navigating the single level bar.“
“$25 for a family size supreme and a 2 ltr. Can not beat the price! Not your ordinary bowling ally pizza. It's pretty good. The ingredients are good quality, and piled high. This is my go to pizza place. In my opinion taste quality and price beat any of the chain pizza joints in the area.“
“*** EDIT- we were very pleased that management corrected things and allowed us to give them another shot. This time around the customer service was way better and the food looks way better than last time. I appreciate management reaching out and making things right with us it does show that they care about their customers and their dignity. Thanks state line in Dyer !We usually go to Schererville because they never mix up our order and its always awesome. But today we went to dyer because schererville is closed on tuesdays. The customer service was horrid, employees were so rude. They absolutely burnt our bread sticks. And then the lady working up front ran out and knocked on my car window stating i didnt have the right food and that she didnt give me the right bag. I had to physically show her everything in my bag was MY ORDER. this location is a disappointment. Never again.“
“Well let me honestly say that San francellos and Dyer Indiana always and I mean always got some good delicious pizza. Sorry I don't have any photos but my delivery but the food is always great. The service of delivery has always the time they say. If you haven't had that fat potatoes, pizza or food I recommended highly.“
“Delicious!! Had a craving for their sautéed perch, my favorite!! Generous portions, all comes with the best minestrone soup you will ever have, big basket of garlic bread and a side, always get the spaghetti! I love John's and its wonderful owners !“
“The pizza is honestly one of my favorites, it's unique compared to a lot the average places in NWI. It's maintained a bit of a staple in my opinion and seems to hire kids in need of jobs. It's a small little shop, but it's got heart. You honestly can't go wrong.“
“This is my favorite restaurant since relocating to Indiana. You feel like you’re in another country. The noise from music playing, people talking, smell of everyone’s selections (ie- chicken Marsala was the special) and the atmosphere make for a fun & enticing experience.Jonathan is an AMAZING staff member. He is honest, quick, and anticipates your needs before you even knew you had them.I’m leaving this review because the staff here hands down puts their heart and soul into the service they provide. Even the hostess helps to clear tables and check in on you during the busiest times!Thank you for being an exceptional option for me and the community to dine in!“
