“Don't let the inside fool you with the lived-in feeling. While it could use a little love atmosphere wise, this place has got some great breakfast food. Bacon is crispy and not under cooked. Eggs ordered over hard and came out perfectly. Sausage is not overcooked and is full of flavour. Pancakes are light, fluffy, and golden brown. Breakfast can be summed up with the word delicious.Staff was very attentive and friendly. Coffee was always full as well as my tea. Try out breakfast here.“
“Stopped in for a solo breakfast to kill some time before meeting up with my daughter. Kim, my server, was friendly and engaging from the start. The restaurant was busy with other diners and I noticed that the wait staff were busy and attentive to the other diners as well. I ordered two eggs with corned beef hash extra crispy with rye toast. Everything came out exactly as I expected with fried potatoes as well. I wasn't aware that those would be included as I would have saved the cook the effort and not ordered them, but only because I don't really eat fried potatoes. I'm not a fan of food waste. Next time I'll try to remember to ask that those aren't on my plate. Otherwise a good experience with reasonably priced food and friendly, quick service. I'd return and recommend.“
“This is one of those places that is guaranteed to have good, hometown food. It's not trying to put on airs or follow the latest chef or cooking trends. Large portions of a wide menu. Dutch babies, Eggs Benedict, to sandwiches and dinners.Eggs were cooked perfectly (with an extra), bacon was crisp as requested. I wish the blueberry syrup actually had blueberries in it, but the pancakes were hot and fluffy, and they refilled my coffee any time they passed our table.“
