Grocery with small restaurant serving excellent food and carry out. Delicious with good portions. Biryani is the best I’ve ever had including 8 weeks living in Mumbai.

Apna is a nice family owned Indian grocery store with tons of different produce and authentic imports on display, but the real sleeper hit is the little restaraunt in the back. Their naan is delicious and the various curries are super rich and filling.

It's good place for people who likes Indian food. But if I were you, I would definitely make an order and eat outside the restaurant. I didn't like the room where we eat inside. Prices high I don't know if this normal or not because it's first time for me to order or eat Indian food in my whole life. the manger is very generous man he will ask you if you need anything else every single time he saw you. I asked him if it's halal and his answered yes it is halal meat and Halal chicken. They have henna for hair and a lot of natural products.

Great place

The serving size is large- that's what I liked. The place didn't seem to be like a restaurant.

Will not be going back again. Rude employees. Greasy food and they didn’t give me white rice with my order of butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and when I asked about said that it was complementary and they don’t have any left even tho it is a grocery store as well with sacks of rice. So I hope losing a customer and everyone else I inform was worth some cheap white rice. Spent $40 and was stingy enough not to give me some rice with a dish that I have ordered for years from many different restaurants and have always come with rice.

Decent food, but not as good as comparably priced places nearby. The restaurant part of the store is down an aisle in what looks like and should be a storage room. Once my food arrived on paper plates with only plastic spoons (no napkins, fork, or knife), I never saw a human again for the rest of my meal and had to find a way to pay in the grocery store. The people were perfectly nice. Two people with the proper expectations could share a meal for $20 and feel like it was a good value.

Ate at the restaurant - it's probably the best Indian food I've ever had. Would especially recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala as the flavor was phenomenal. Everyone there was also really nice and helpful.

This place was one of the worst places I have ever been to. First off everywhere was dirty and sticky. The food was stacked in front of the bathroom on the floor. And the bathroom was disgusting there were no joke, dead cockroaches on the floor and pee all over. We ended up just leaving after seeing it.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. I ordered my food online and came to pick it up. It was outrageous. I kept asking if the price was correct and if they got my order right. I listed out what I ordered and he kept acting like he didn't understand me and that it was correct. I got home and it was not what I ordered at all. It was two servings of fried tofu that they charged me $15 dollars for each and a rice and chicken dish I didn't order. I ordered chicken tikka masala, naan, and a vegetable samosa appetizer. I'm almost positive I was scammed on the pricing.Would not recommend

Great menu with the common items plus some more traditional dishes not served at most Indian/Pakistani places. Just make sure to order rice!

This was our first time and we will now be regulars here. If you like Indian food, this is the place. The area where you eat is small but when you see and then taste the food it will not matter. We had the butter chicken, chicken biryani, and garlic naan. Also some sort of yogurt sauce that was to die for. So. The butter chicken is perfectly spiced, rich, and creamy and the pieces of chicken were very tender. The chicken in the biryani was falling off the bone. SO good. The rice had such a good flavor and was cooked also to perfection. The naan was also so extraordinary. This is an undiscovered gem. Truly. Next time we will try to tikki masala as recommended by the owner. You can also call ahead and order and it will be ready when you get there. Since we live in Irvington this is a perfect option for us!

We had a wonderful meal including butter chicken, lamb biryani, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas. Flavors were all great.
