“Stopped for lunch today. My Boyfriend and I shared the green goddess salad, crab hush puppies, and the chicken sandwich. Aside from the decor being lovely and the bar/restaurant being super clean, the food and service was spectacular! Lily, our server, was extraordinarily polite and helpful with our questions. She was kind enough to ask the kitchen to split our order ahead of time which was much appreciated. The green goddess salad and chicken sandwich were amongst the best we have ever had. Looking forward to checking out their brunch while we are in town.”

This place isn’t just a restaurant to me — it’s a tradition, a memory, and a piece of my life that goes back more than 40 years. I have been coming here since I was a child. Some of my earliest food memories are sitting inside this historic little hot dog stand enjoying their famous coney dogs. There is just something special about this place that has never changed. The atmosphere, the smell of the grill, and the excitement of getting those delicious coneys brings back so many memories every single time I walk through the door. And let’s talk about the food — the coney dogs are absolutely incredible. They are simple, classic, and packed with flavor. The chili, the mustard, the onions, and the perfectly cooked hot dog all come together to make the BEST coneys you will ever eat. After all these years, the taste is still exactly how I remember it. Some places change over time, but this one has kept its magic. What makes it even more special now is that I get to bring my own family here. I now bring my husband and my children, and watching them enjoy the same food I grew up loving is such a great feeling. It’s like passing down a family tradition. Every time we visit, it feels like a little trip back in time while also making new memories together. The place itself is full of history and charm. It’s not fancy, and that’s exactly why people love it. It’s a true Fort Wayne landmark and one of those iconic spots that locals and visitors should experience at least once. The staff keeps the line moving, the food comes out fast, and you can tell they’ve perfected their system after all these years. After more than four decades of coming here, I can honestly say this is still my absolute favorite hot dog spot anywhere. The BEST coney dogs, amazing history, and a place filled with memories make this a must-visit destination in Fort Wayne. If you’ve never been to the famous Coney Island in Fort Wayne, you are truly missing out. These are without a doubt the BEST CONEYS you will ever eat.”

“My husband and I went to Bistro Nota a couple of weeks ago on a cold rainy Friday night. We went because one of the owners/chefs is Jake - formerly of Chop’s Wine Bar (when it was at it’s best). As is Jake’s forte, the the food was fabulous! We tried several different things. We ordered a bottle of the “house” red wine from their varied wine list. It was a great wine, far superior to what I expected from anyone’s house wine! The Pain et Fromage was delicious-Homemade Sliced Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia served with Roasted Pepper Cheese Dip. For dinner we tried their delicious Bistro Mac & Cheese - for an “a la carte” item it was a large portion. We ordered Low country Shrimp (GF) from the “small plates” portion of the menu - my husband doesn’t eat pork so they graciously omitted the bacon. We ordered Beef Teres Major entree -Petite Shoulder Tenderloin, Roasted Garlic Marinated, Potato Veloute, Sofrito with Grilled Focaccia. The staff is engaging, congenial & professional. The atmosphere is comfortable, urban, slightly industrial. We will go back to Bistro Nota again and again !!!”

The store used to offer a "you buy , we fry " Raw state sale where snap customers could also partake in the take home sensation that is s Krispy crunchy chicken . This option has since recently become taken out. Or lack there of options .Over all its. A muggy, clean , friendly stop for all your moist foul needs ?.

I usually go to the Lima Road location in Fort Wayne, but since I was getting off work in Huntington, this spot was much closer—and one of the few places open that late. I arrived right at 2:00 AM and was the only customer there. Within about a minute, a cook seated me, and my waitress greeted me shortly after.

I ordered my usual Pepsi, which came out immediately, and then placed my order. I tend to stick with the same thing at IHOP—the breakfast sampler—but this time I swapped the eggs and pancakes for extra hashbrowns and added a side of smoked sausage links and pork sausage patties.

The hashbrowns were a bit overcooked for my taste, but that’s more of a personal preference and something I could’ve mentioned when ordering. Aside from that, everything else was excellent and really tasty. My food arrived by 2:15 AM, so the service was quick and efficient.

My waitress was friendly, checked on me multiple times, and even offered me a drink to go. The restaurant itself was clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked.

Overall, I’d give this location a 9/10 and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good, affordable food with fast service.”

“Julie (owner) welcomed me and my two littles to her shop on a rather disastrous day, on our part. She was so patient and kind and accepted us just as we were -- extremely frazzled mom, barefoot + overtired toddler, and soon to be publicly breastfed two month old. Never once did I feel unwelcomed, disdained, or the least bit out of place despite the chaos I brought to her little slice of heaven. Julie is peppy, hard working, and outgoing. She not only served us swiftly and kindly (hello mandatory samples and extra time with decisions, offering suggestions as well as finding busy work while I thought), but also invested in our journey, asking thoughtfully worded questions and sharing her passions as we conversed. We easily spent an hour in her shop, dripping ice cream and breastmilk and exhaustion; tracking sticky fingers over her game pieces, and adjusting the atmosphere from pleasant to slightly stinky newborn blowout... and yet Julie met us where we were at with kindness and welcoming presence. Is that all? Goodness, no. I am gf/df and one of my littles is df and I was shocked to discover Moo Over not only existed in one but BOTH of my allergen capacities... and others, such as egg. I've been traveling to CC regularly for years and completely oblivious to this gem I could have been visiting every time with zero dietary concerns! Letting my hair down around food is a luxury that can become a common experience now that I know! I discovered her because she put a very GENEROUS coupon out in the Parkview Whitley new parents welcome packages. Originally I was sad it was a coupon I couldn't use, because dairy and ice cream... but I was so excited to discover I was wrong! And Julie, It worked -- I am a forever customer! Is THAT all? Goodness, no! This frazzled momma finally drove off, but left her debit card laying on the counter. Julie held onto it and when I called the next day, offered to mail it to me. She went through the hassle and expense of her time and resources to ensure I didn't have to cancel my bank card or worry about making an extra trip out (an hour away is so much longer when there are littles to load up everywhere you go!). I am beyond impressed with every aspect of what Julie does with Moo Over. She truly exudes excellence and the mindset of community she needs to excel. Such a genuinely amazing business woman. Thank you Julie for doing what you do and doing it so well!”

“So I wanted to leave a review because I had an absolutely splendid time at Chance Bar! I’ve been to nice restaurants all over the state, I would never consider myself a “foodie” by any means, but I’m familiar enough to make a recommendation for any genre or type of taste and let me tell you, I’m recommending Chance bar. The atmosphere was so inviting, custom art work on the walls, and an adorable mural of (what I’m assuming) Is Chance the dog on the wall when you walk in. The service was great, both Angie our server and Corey the Chef came to the table and overall, we just felt welcome. Farm to table, fresh ingredients, creative menu. When I’m trying a new restaurant I usually go for the burger. In my mind, if a place can’t do a burger right, then I don’t need to try anything else on the menu. The double smash patty burger was simply amazing, probably the best burger in town. Fresh pickles, home made sauce on a soft yet sweet bun, I’ll definitely go back just for the burger. Places like this are hard to come by, but this will be a regular spot on our restaurant rotation moving forward. Thanks again to Angie and Corey for a wonderful experience, and full belly. “I ordered cupcakes for my baby's first birthday party and had to postpone the order 3 times due to weather and illnesses. Krysta was so accommodating and understanding and was able to postpone until we were all clear and ready for the party a month later! When I picked up the order the shop clerk was also very sweet. The interior of the shop is SO CUTE I wish I lived closer so I could go regularly. We got a variety of cupcakes flavors and everyone at the party was very pleased with their cupcake choice. Server said they only have on and off on the heating/air system!! They were planning on calling corporate about it. When we left, diners were stepping into lobby saying how cold it was in there.”

“After reading online reviews, my husband and I decided to try the Thai Garden. The restaurant was immaculate! (Not a speck of crumbs on the floor and glass table tops were sparkling clean.) The greeter/server was very personable and helpful with order selections. Service was prompt and steaming hot! Since we were not ravenously hungry, we ordered mostly appetizers. The server brought these out at in a timely manner. The next appetizers arrived as we were finishing one. The atmosphere was a little Asian/Burmese. The decor was calm and not gaudy. Soft music was playing so conversations were easy to hear. The reviews were spot on about the Crab Rangoon! They were filled to the brim with crab, onion and cream cheese. A delight to our taste buds!!! After 3 appetizers, (Crab Rangoon, Chicken Honey and Kaewa-Za) __we were completely full. We will definitely go back and try even more of the selections! A+++”

“The famous Coney Island in Fort Wayne, Indiana is hands down the BEST hot dog place I have ever visited. This place isn’t just a restaurant to me — it’s a tradition, a memory, and a piece of my life that goes back more than 40 years. I have been coming here since I was a child. Some of my earliest food memories are sitting inside this historic little hot dog stand enjoying their famous coney dogs. There is just something special about this place that has never changed. The atmosphere, the smell of the grill, and the excitement of getting those delicious coneys brings back so many memories every single time I walk through the door. And let’s talk about the food — the coney dogs are absolutely incredible. They are simple, classic, and packed with flavor. The chili, the mustard, the onions, and the perfectly cooked hot dog all come together to make the BEST coneys you will ever eat. After all these years, the taste is still exactly how I remember it. Some places change over time, but this one has kept its magic. What makes it even more special now is that I get to bring my own family here. I now bring my husband and my children, and watching them enjoy the same food I grew up loving is such a great feeling. It’s like passing down a family tradition. Every time we visit, it feels like a little trip back in time while also making new memories together. The place itself is full of history and charm. It’s not fancy, and that’s exactly why people love it. It’s a true Fort Wayne landmark and one of those iconic spots that locals and visitors should experience at least once. After more than four decades of coming here, I can honestly say this is still my absolute favorite hot dog spot anywhere. The BEST coney dogs, amazing history, and a place filled with memories make this a must-visit destination in Fort Wayne. “I recently picked up a catering order that included trays of beef, au jus, Chicago dogs, beef sandwiches, bread, chop salad, and all the fixings. The order was 100% accurate. Of course, all of the food was a big hit for my party. I am quite familiar with the deliciousness of the sandwiches. The big surprise was the chop salad. Everyone loved it. I highly recommend Portillo’s Catering for your next get together.”

I just prefer tea or fountain drinks but the fago was good.It was a clean place. A little pricey but whose not and it beats the fast food chain burgers.”

The menu had plenty of great options, but I went with “The Beginning,” a classic burger. It was cooked perfectly, super tasty, and even the fries were awesome. Their house sauce was sweet and delicious it was a nice bonus. The place itself is stylish, with funky designs on the walls, and the whole staff was on point/attentive, professional, and always one step ahead. I never had to ask for a thing! “To say that I'm impressed is an understatement. I've been seriously sleeping on this place! I decided to try them on my way to menards. I ordered the ribeye tacos and chips & salsa. They were full of flavor, the steak was very tender, and the chips & salsa are now my favorite in town. The salsa had deep flavor without being very spicy. There's no weird after taste like I find at a lot of Mexican restaurants. It is obvious that the ingredients they use are very fresh. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I'm grabbing some chips and salsa for home and I'll be back soon! I have lived in Fort Wayne my whole life and I can honestly say that I have found my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Fort Wayne.”
