“This noodle bar is located inside the Hard Rock Casino(Gary,Indiana). The casino itself is pretty packed often but the noodle bar you can get in and seated pretty quickly so I've been a few times. The servers have been very friendly each and every time I've been. The some of food portions are very large so be mindful on ordering multiple things. Most of the products come with nuts on top so also be mindful of that. I would say it's a great little date or business meeting spot because of the atmosphere. The decor is cute and inviting.“
“This is the best Chinese food in Indiana and anywhere else I have tried. The owner and her family cook from scratch daily. Nothing is left over. I have a dietary restriction of gluten free and no salt she has provided good fresh food for me. I am aquired non celiac gluten free. Contrary to coments from others about pest in food they have come on investigation from customers who wanted free food.“
“Today I took a 30 minute trip to Hobart to go to New Hong Kong. I realized that I have been going here for over 20 years now and I don't have a review up. I lived in town for 7 or 8 years and I'd go sometimes twice a week, now I make the pilgrimage back when I can. There is no other restraunt in Hobart I make the trip back for.“
“No complaint with the food always very good . However , trying to get served inside dining is another story .I know that they have a lot of pick up orders to handle , but are too short handed to take orders from their inside customers . They should have someone dedicated to inside dining and cleaning vacant tables . Jay“
“Every Tuesday evening I travel from Crown Point to Portage to meet with friends. I have to decide what restaurant I will eat dinner in on the way. This restaurant always calls me back so I pass countless restaurants on the way to always eat here. I crave the Hot and Sour soup, a pot of hot tea and the Barbecued Pork Lo Mein. Nothing better in N W Indiana. Great food.“
“We ordered General Tso chicken, rice, spring rolls, egg rolls (pork) Singapore rice noodles. Very friendly service, food is delicious! They supply a nice dish for the meal (with lid) napkins, forks, sauces and fortune cookie. It is the best I’ve had in this area. We will be returning for sure. Enough food to eat & save for later. :) great prices! Very impressed , many choices to choose from.Vegetarian options: You can always find a dish and ask for no meat :)Parking: It’s located in a strip mall. Plenty of room to park. Easy accessWheelchair accessibility: Flat parking lot, easy to get into.“
“I'm a visitor to this area, the lady at the front desk of the hotel I'm staying in recommended this restaurant, all I can say is Fiiiiiire!! WOW!! absolutely delicious, the delivery was fast, and the price was reasonable,if I could give 10 stars I would.“
“Everything you expect from a mall food court Chinese. A 2 entree combo no drink is $11 bucks. Yes, like all mall places if you get too close you will be forced to take a piece of their fried in sweet glaze chicken on a toothpick. The food was fresh when we went at 1pm.“
“Mailee Chinese Restaurant, a carry-out gem, offers a delectable journey through classic Chinese flavors. Their common menu boasts a diverse range of dishes, from savory General Tso's Chicken to flavorful Beef and Broccoli. The convenience of carry-out doesn't compromise the quality; each dish maintains its authentic taste and freshness. Mailee's efficient service ensures a quick and satisfying experience, making it a reliable choice for those craving traditional Chinese cuisine on the go.“
“Kung Pao chicken, egg rolls and Cantonese noodles! DELISH... very fresh. I've ordered from Golden Phoenix for years...I feel that the quality of the food has been inconsistent, with the exception of the last 4 times I've ordered. I'm not sure what changed, but it's been really good! Keep up the great work“
“This was probably my best BC experience of all time so they get a 4 star for this one. Literally everything was cooked perfectly. I wish they would put more effort/flavor into their friend rice and lo mein or it would have totally been a 5 star experience. The fried fish and broiled fish were perfect and OMG the crayfish were HUGE and perfectly cooked. The next batch came out smaller so I felt lucky to have gotten the big ones. Usually they're small and overcooked and not worth the effort. If they were always as large as the ones I had I'd go more often just for those. The hibachi chef cooked my steaks(a dinner option) perfectly. The fried wings and crab Rangoon always hit the spot. Like I said..it's usually like a 3.5 star experience..you go just for a variety and to fill up..but this time was really freaking good.“
“I’ve been going here since 2015 The best Chinese food in town. I really miss when they had the sit in area before Covid started. Your food would come in lovely platters and you would have to pack up your lunch. ??? and no MSG I’m deathly allergic.“
“We recently moved to Hobart and have been on the hunt for a good place for Chinese food. We decided to try New China Restaurant last night, and let me tell you.... I think we found our Chinese food place!!! Food was very good and very hot!! Have left overs that will make at least 2 more meals probably. I had the triple chop suey and pot stickers and my husband did the orange chicken and egg rolls. Highly recommend if you want good authentic Chinese food!!“
“This restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. I used to go there before I went to college, and am happy that it's still here today. They only open for carry out now. It may appear that they are closed from the outside due to no other cars in the parking lot. It works for me because I prefer carry out anyways. Everything is so expensive nowadays. Their price remained very reasonable Some recommended dishes are: Szechuan Chicken, Beef Broccoli, Shrimp fried rice, combination fried rice. Appetizer: Fries, Fried Chicken, crab Rangoon, Combo: Orange Chicken, Fried rice, egg roll Ribs, Fried Shrimp, Friday Rice, Egg Roll“
