Have been going here for years, however the past few years there has been a major police presence. They're going through people's things and checking coolers. I'm a responsible adult and I don't appreciate being treated like some teenager. The beach is not free. If I wanted to be harassed I could go to any other free beach.

A nice, private type of beach that was nice views of the lake, clean and well kept beaches where beachgoers come to relax, enjoy and have some fun w/out all of the nonsense. They also have a good stand should you get hungry. You pay $15 to park and enjoy til 7 pm. Nice, cozy and ez to get to and from.

Had the double cheeseburger meal. Very good burger, I'm going to rank it as one of the best in the area. Also you don't need to pay for parking if your eating lunch and not going to the beach. Haven't been to any of the evening events, but given the vibe of the place I bet it's laid back and fun! Go and enjoy this little region gem!

Nice beach, staff are pretty okay with the exception of the really really REALLY old dude with sass. Didn't take his rudeness too personally. I'd probably be just as rude if I did absolutely NOTHING with my life for 71 years and ended up working at a parking lot until I met my maker. But alas, clean beach, you're doing a great job being a garbage picker not so kind sir ??
