“I was just treated extremely rude by a manager named Grace or something that told me initial NO TIME, just "as soon as possible." I waited 1 hour before calling to check in on the order. At that time the driver was leaving to deliver, but it then took another 30 to 40 minutes to arrive. The result was cold pizza & breadsticks. When calling back to ask politely for a refund, it was met with an argumentative Grace that hung up on me. I am beyond disappointed in my treatment & the lack of respect this employee has for customers & customer service. Berne, IN. location.”

“My friend and I were in town from Missouri and got together for dinner. Happy's was the only place open. We were pleasantly surprised when we were treated to an awesome, and free thanksgiving dinner. Thanks for making our thanksgiving a great memory. Will definitely be back next trip.”

The girl with the blue hair was slow and didn't act like she wanted to be there. Mary was basically doing it all and also was covering the online orders! Kudos Mary!”

“Ordered carry out over the phone. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes, and it was. Lady wad friendly. Very odd pick-up window though, feels uninviting.The food was good. Fried rice, white rice, and general tsos spicy chicken. The fried rice was very good. The general tso chicken was not very spicy, but other than that, it was delicious. Overall, good.”

“I like the filling station but it took them almost 15 minutes for me to get my yogurt bowl. I had a toddler getting antsy to the point I almost drove away. I don’t mind waiting if I had a large order but I just had one thing.”

“Very nice home style restaurant. The chicken is amazing. Very nice wait staff. Since there aren’t many good restaurants left, expect a wait for good, wholesome food served by good people. This isn’t a chain restaurant that microwaves everything. If that’s your style then Richard’s isn’t for you.”

“Our family met at this East of Chicago in Berne Indiana for my mom's 90th birthday. She likes their pizza and so 27 family members of all ages descended on this establishment for a Saturday dinner. I had given the management a heads up and they were very flexible and accommodating. They had the tables arranged for us and even provided the pizza buffet on a day when it is not normally offered. They encouraged us to select several of the pizzas on the buffet. The pizza and salad bar were very good and fresh. Thank you East of Chicago Pizza. A good time was had by all!”

“Late nite traveling home south, and Hallelujah BK open !! Nice stop for lil rest. Noticed have bout 8-10 spots for semis and lovely area for ua to stretch our legs and our 2 lil dogs also. Couldn't ask for better ”

“Staff and manager on shift were very nice and accommodating.
I went in expecting not to be able to get a lot of the Buffalo sauce packets; they have become a pregnancy craving and one of the very few things I can stomach right now. But I came out very, very happy. I was able to get so many that I'll be able to use them to my heart and babies content instead of sparsely using any.”
