The restaurant is quaint, and you can talk without having to shout. I ordered The Club sandwich and it was delicious and perfectly toasted My husband ordered his Cordon Blue a little confusing but they got it right. “I had the best time at Carmela’s until I got the bill. I asked Carson, the bartender to pour me a couple samples. I was talking to another customer at the bar about how much I love Montepulciano and the bartender assumed that is what I wanted and poured me the glass. Fortunately that is in fact, what I wanted so I was fine with it. It was a reasonable pour so I drank it with dinner. When I went to check out, there was 2 glasses of wine on my bill. I asked him kindly if he was sure it was 2. He said yes, which I was shocked by. I was sure he had just made an easily correctable mistake. I told him I would pay for it anyway but I really did just have the one glass. He said “you definitely had 2 but I’ll take it off”. Then he came back and said, “there’s nothing I can do about it because the card has already been charged.” I told him that it was fine, it’s only $15 it’s just the precedence for me. He then informed me again he was sure I had 2 glasses. Needless to say ,I was incredibly embarrassed in front of the new friends I had made at the bar. I paid my tab and then cried in my car because it has been that kind of week. The worst part about the whole thing was not being believed. I will not be returning to Carmela’s which is shame because I really liked the wine list.Edit: The owners truly listened and did their best to make it right. I will be returning.“

“This is a cozy, hometown pizzeria with great food and a great atmosphere! We had the supreme pizza which was smothered in a red sauce with a flavor all of its own! It was topped with the stringiest mozzarella cheese and a generous potion of vegetables and a flavorful sausage. It was not chaotic with loud music playing. It was a very pleasant place to be able to sit and have a meaningful conversation without having to raise your voice in order to be heard. The tiramisu was delectably creamy and fluffy! Our waitress, kind as she was, could have checked on us a little more frequently. That is why service only got a 4 star. I will go here again and I highly recommend!“

“Oh, we had such a delightful dinner at Perbacco - Jorden Wizard waiter and she was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the food delicious the portions are huge. I will go back just for the vodka and sauce and meatballs. The tiramisu and the carrot cake were enough to feed a family, I love the tiramisu wasn't so cracked up about the carrot cake but others in my family loved it about the only thing I can add is that please inquire as to reservations and the status of people we were there with our elderly parents and they wanted to sit at a high top table just by looking at us when we walked in you could tell that probably would not be the best option. Come hungry because there are no little portions here. The Ribeye was at least 30 oz and charred to perfection. My husband and I had to split it. We had the bruchetta, the ribeye and the linguine alfredo with chicken/shrimp. Soups were french onion and tomato bisque. the salad was massive and the homemade dressing was delicious. I had a glass of wine and he had a cocktail and the bill was just over $100. Affordable in my opinion for the massive servings you get. “I happened upon this wonderful restaurant as I was leaving town. The parking lot seemed full for 1pm in the afternoon on a Friday. My initial thought was that this place has to be good. Wow! Was that thought understated! I chose the Meatballs Al Forno as an appetizer. Note: The small order has 6 small meatballs and the large order has 12. Each one of them were bursting with flavor! Each time cut into one, I would make sure to get a little bit of the cheese, some sauce and a corner of the accompanying toasted garlic bread. Every time, it was the perfect bite. Then came the entree. I chose the Salmon Limone, a grilled fillet of salmon on a bed of shrimp ravioli with Roma tomatoes in a wine and lemon dill butter sauce. The shrimp ravioli melted in my mouth. The fish was wonderfully prepared! It was tender, moist, and seasoned to perfection! The service was impeccable! Lauren, the bartender, was pleasant, professional, personable, and attentive. “I had ordered the chicken bacon and ranch pizza. First off there's a ton of exposed crust on their pizza. Not really a fan, I'd rather my pizza be as covered from end to end as possible. 2nd the pizza was DRY. You guys need to learn that when you use a sauce that has fat in it ( dairy) is going to soak into the bread. You have to use more ranch as your sauce. And 3rd I asked for half with bacon and onion, half without. The way it was cut you can't tell which was which at all =( gotta do better at that guys. I'll try you again in the future but I'll know to ask for these things specifically to be different, if not I'll just move along.“
