The building exterior really needs some upkeep. Some of the trim is rotting and the paint is peeling. I have not been inside a LJS since the 80s, but I imagine the interior is as worn as the exterior. However, the gal at the window was very pleasant, helpful, and cheerful. My fish tacos were exactly what I was craving.
Haven't been to a Long John Silvers since I was a kid, it still lives up to how I remember. Candy delivered excellent service, she even brought my food to my table as soon as it was ready. Do I feel a little nauseous after eating eight hush puppies? Yeah, but that's part of the charm! Those hush puppies are still just as great as they were in my memory!Kid-friendliness: They have a bell you ring at the door when the service is great, it was my favorite part as a kid, still giggled...read full review

Fish, chicken and fries soaked in frying oil for more money than most other fast food restaurants!!??? No thank you. Service was quick because the food was already cooked and waiting for someone to order.. the building is run down and sketchy looking. I wasn't even sure they were open.
