The service was impeccable by a very efficient woman at Down on Main!We had a petite grilled and a hand breaded tenderloin, one of the best I've had in Indiana. Came with tots, fresh and hot! A nice beer to top it off. Highly recommend this bar! Great ambiance, a dark bar but
Good thickness on the pork for both the breaded and grilled tenderloins. The breading reminded us of what you'd get on fish and chips, light and crispy. Good but thicker than we liked so we eneded up pulling the breading off half way through. The grilled tenderloin tasted like steak and/or hamburger. Obviously the grill hadn't been scraped down before the tenderloin was done. The tater tots were excellent nice and crispy soft and chewy on the inside. The people here were so nice, the food was excellent and their town was beautiful. A great place to stop for the whole family.Vegetarian options: They have a few things they can make vegetarian. My wife is vegetarian and they let her eat food from somewhere else with the rest of us who aren’t vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: There were other kids there and they had a bowling video game.
