“We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. SeaFood Special $175.66 Who the hell charges this for a pound of crab legs and a lobster tail? Never again! Buyer beware!”

“Always check hours online - and watch your step when you walk in the front door. There are a ton of food items on this menu - including a refrigerated section for soup, frozen pierogies, and there are other salads and desserts.

You do get a discount if you pay in CASH.

I tried some pierogis - potato and sweet cheese. They appear to be fried as they are a bit crunchy, but I like them like that. They are pretty full pierogis. You can order them frozen to go home and cook on your own - or have them cooked to order.

I also got the order of polish sausage w/kraut and some fries. The polish sausage is snappy and the kraut is great. The bun I could do without, but I just removed it and ate on it's own. The fries were salty with a mix of crispy and soggy ones.

I will definitely be back to try more options and more pierogis!

Inside is small, but they added some extra eating in the room next door. You can dine in if you wish, it never seemed too crowded.”

“I had my 40th birthday here over the weekend using the party room with about 40 people. Everything turned out so nice. The food was delicious, the servers were very accommodating, there was live music (which I didn’t know about and many people in the party enjoyed) and a DJ at night. We had a blast and I’m so glad that I did the party here. I had a decorator come to add balloons, and some decor. I was worried that the room would be too small, but it worked out perfectly. Thank you Emilio’s for hosting my special event, we had a great time!”

I have only ordered today would be my second time and the pizza was great, im not a pizza person but my daughter snagged a slice while we were on our way home an i ate some to and it was the tastiest most delicious pizza ive ever had by the time i got home i ate 5 slices lol, also they fixed my order with a smile and no hesitation thank you, you all are amazing and have great customer service! “We had ice cream on wheels out for our employee appreciation event and everything was great! The driver arrived 10 mins early to get in position and started serving immediately after opening the window. The driver was professional and courteous. “I typically order unlimited minestrone soup & salad (minus cheese, dressing, croutons). If planning ahead I'll bring a small container with my own Italian dressing. They usually give my own lg salad bowl & are always very accommodating when I request that they add extra veggies such as pepperoncini, onions, tomato, etc to my lettuce since it's my meal. You can also order pasta with Marinara sauce.”

“I had never been in or even knew about Bob Evans. My wife made me come. I had breakfast. Started off with a very friendly and helpful hostess. Then a server took our order. Even better than the hostess and that's saying something. Tabitha took our order, helped me decide by giving great suggestions. Excellent choices. I ended up with a sausage biscuit with home fries, egg and gravy. It was good. Cooked just right. And did I tell you that I felt like home. I wish there was a Bob Evans in my state.”

“I came here after shopping at the Antique mall. The popcorn smells amazing everything I walk by. I got the chicken salad sandwich, which was pretty good. The bread was nicely toasted and they put a good amount of the chicken on the sandwich. The chicken salad mayo, tasted tangy, but sweet. It worked well for the sandwich. The cashier brought out the sandwich to my table, which was nice. I cannot wait to try their other sandwiches and have a beer there sometime.”

“First off, the young lady behind the counter was a pleasure to deal with. What a pleasant surprise after dealing with a lot of the help out there. Got the 10 piece chicken dark meat, small perch, small catfish and small shrimp dinners. Wanted to sample a little bit of everything and was quite pleased. The perch was breaded just right and very moist. The shrimp took a minimum of 2 bites to get down to the tail. The catfish is the best I’ve had since Marti’s Place on the Kankakee River closed. Then there was the chicken. The legs were colossal! As were the thighs! The thighs were about the size of my fist! Loved the crunch. Told the cook (owner maybe?) that we wanted to snack on something while watching football New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Took us 3 days to finish everything. Little bit of a drive to get there, but I go past a couple of chicken places to get there. Definitely worth the trip!!!”

I do enjoy the chicken, which is moist and cooked just right. Service is always pleasant. Staff are friendly.”

I have never had an unpleasant experience in any of their three locations in NW Indiana (Highland, Schererville, Merrillville). Prices are decent; what one would expect to pay for a better-than-average breakfast and lunch venue, but not too costly. Try it. You'll like it!”

“Had a baby shower there. 45 people in the larger party room. It was clean and ready for us to decorate. Food was brought out hot and on time, beverages were filled when needed. Friendly and fast service. Bar could use a few more mock cocktail options. But over all....an excellent experience. I highly recommend.”
