Visiting Indy and staying close by, we walked over on a Sunday morning. It was buzzing but not where we had to wait for a table. Our food was delicious. Ordered was the king cake and the Rambler with no cheese. The kitchen messed up the king cake and because of it, it was remade and was given a discount. That's how it's done! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and made the experience pleasant. Would visit here again.
We grabbed a late breakfast at Le Peep. The location off of Illinois St. was a little hard for us to find (a tree obscured their sign, and the building looked like a parking garage). Turned out to be a space on the ground floor of the corner building -- the dining room was spacious and well lit, and there was an ample selection of tempting menu items to choose from. Atmosphere was nice, was seated quickly. Food took a while to come out after ordering. Food was average, nice sized portions. pancakes were gritty. French toast sticks were over cooked. Bacon & eggs are good.
