“Amazing, amazing amazing! Such a great little gem of a restaurant in a fun area of town. The food was great but what stood out to me was the service and the wine list. We ordered a bottle of a well priced Willamette Valley pinot noir that was excellent. I liked it so much that I took a picture of the label to be able to purchase it at a local wine shop. We asked the server about the bread pudding as we typically try it everywhere we go. We were torn to try the signature dessert (doughnuts) or the bread pudding and decided we had to try both. The server was so kind and ended up comping our dessert in the idea that we were "taste testing" the menu and it needed to be done for "scientific reasons." We were very appreciative and certainly didn't expect that. Great service, Great food, & Great vibe!“
“Came for a birthday dinner. Our party got the lobster ravioli, indiana duck, and short ribs for the entrees. For appetizer we had the mackerel cakes, fried, and loaded mashed potatoes. “I attended a conference at the Indy Convention Center the last 4 days. Stayed at the JW Marriott. High Velocity is located in that hotel. It became my main eating place during my stay. The food is very good and moderately priced. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the short rib tacos. The service was excellent. I highly recommend High Velocity for those staying at the JW Mariott in Indianapolis.“

I had just left the bar nowhere special before I walked into this establishment, which where I had an awful experience at, and I decided to try The ball & biscuit and I’m so glad that I did. The cocktail menu they have available here was amazing but I’m a pretty picky person when it comes to my taste preferences in craft cocktails. I expressed my preferences to Casey the bartender and her and Ryan both worked together in coming up with a delicious cocktail to fit what I wanted. I was extremely impressed with the cocktail they made for me based off of me just stating that I loved egg whites and gin. My cocktail was delicious, they had created a grapefruit gin fiz for me and the presentation of the cocktail was amazing. The bar staff and Todd also gave me some wonderful suggestions as to other places I could visit as a tourist in this city which was super helpful. I hope to visit this place soon with friends. “Man Big Walt’s has had me in a chokehold for months! It’s just great every time. A two man team (generally) pumping out hot fresh food! I love the pork chop sandwich and the cheeseburger. If you have a big appetite you might get the Big Walt on Texas toast, it’s 2 hand patted seasoned patties with your choice of toppings. Wait is generally 20 mins or less! Love yo go when they open, I’m in and out!“

Despite being in a location predominantly made of bars for the younger crowd, this place offers a relaxing and much quieter atmosphere to have a conversation and relax. The place is not loaded with loud tv's or music. The food menu is small but very good and reasonably priced. The server we had was slow and not much on personality. This place is definitely worth a second trip.“

“I really loved this place. I had a great experience here when my book club decide to try a new restaurant this month to meet up at. I love French cuisine so I was very excited. I ordered the mussels and let me tell you- I still DREAM about those. They were fabulous. For a drink I got an espresso martini and petite kir royal. Our server was great and we even got updates from the manager on when our food would be coming out. The interior of this place is dimly lit (at least for the dinner service it was) and very well decorated. I can't wait to bring my husband's family visiting from France to show them some great food.“

Our waiter was nice but forgot about us so we were sitting about 30 minutes before we could place our order.But the food made up for all of that. My husband and I split the bison meatloaf and the pub burger. Both were delicious but the meatloaf was the star of the show. Best meatloaf I think I’ve ever had in my life!! The beer was also really good, and the atmosphere was cool.Parking: Street parking in the neighborhood. There were options if you’re okay to walk.“

My wife favors the steak, a prime selection from nearby Kincaid's Meat Market. Bread pudding is a great dessert if you save room for it.“
