“Great experience! Unstuffy atmosphere, superb food, and really nice server, Eileen, all added up to a phenomenal experience. With a large group-everything was seamless. Appetizers were somewhat familiar but kicked up with a little (delicious) twist or sauce. The wine paired nicely with everything--a Super Sardinian blend (think Super Tuscan) bold but smooth. The Caprese salad was boosted with farrow--comfort food salad. Everyone was very happy with their main course (pasta dishes or the short-rib entree). Excited to go back so we can all try more of the menu.“

Our server Christopher was awesome from the start with a great personality and on point recommendations. “Had dinner with a friend on a busy Thursday night. Luckily she got there early and grabbed a table for us before the rush started. Our waitress, Courtney O was awesome! We had the spring rolls, and chicken wings both were perfectly crunchy the sauces were delicious. For dinner, my friend had the Bodhi fried rice, which was made fresh - there was steam rolling off of it the whole time we ate. I had the Stir-fried glass noodles with shrimp (medium.) The shrimp were cooked perfectly, seasoned well and the medium heat was just right for me. Overall the food was fabulous, love the atmosphere, will definitely be back.“

He made me the tango and I got it iced. Best coffee drink I think I've ever had. “Great cocktail bar on Mass Ave. I got three cocktails there. All bourbon cocktails. They had a good variety of bourbon, tequila, rum, and vodka cocktails--the menu has so many options. The cocktails i got were all delicious. They also had surprisingly good food. I got a potato chorizo empanada and it was delicious. This is a basement bar and I love that vibe. Lots of pipes, brick walls, and speakeasy vibes. The waiter was very friendly and the service was quick for how busy it was. Definitely get here early if you want to come with a group. “Colby was our waiter tonight. He had expansive menu knowledge and great suggestions. We started with the crabcakes, had an order of king crab legs, and then shared the 16 ounce dry aged steak with added scallops, brussels sprouts, potatoes au gratin and finished off with the delicious dessert that I cannot remember the name of. Financier cake? Anyway, it is literally worth every penny. We started in Mel's speakeasy with a couple of drinks and then migrated to our table, which they held for us. I have never had a better espresso martini in my life. The service was impeccable , and the food was just as good. Tonight‘s dinner cost a pretty penny, but it was worth everyone of them. We have two children with celiac and inquired about the Easter brunch, which resulted in a really good conversation with management. Proving they take allergies and service seriously.“

I had just left the bar nowhere special before I walked into this establishment, which where I had an awful experience at, and I decided to try The ball & biscuit and I’m so glad that I did. The cocktail menu they have available here was amazing but I’m a pretty picky person when it comes to my taste preferences in craft cocktails. I expressed my preferences to Casey the bartender and her and Ryan both worked together in coming up with a delicious cocktail to fit what I wanted. I was extremely impressed with the cocktail they made for me based off of me just stating that I loved egg whites and gin. My cocktail was delicious, they had created a grapefruit gin fiz for me and the presentation of the cocktail was amazing. The bar staff and Todd also gave me some wonderful suggestions as to other places I could visit as a tourist in this city which was super helpful. I hope to visit this place soon with friends. “Have been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally made it with 5 of my closest friends! Came on a Thursday night around 7pm. They post a code on their IG page so you can enter. It was fun within my group gathering everyones guesses before we arrived. Sadly someone let us in so we didn't get to enter the code in but there is a big vault where you can put it in should that not happen for you. Upon entry, it was super chill. They were setting up for a Sofar event (if you don't know what that is, do some homework on that), so they had a section of the place closed off for the set-up. The bartenders were very nice and engaging and offering drink options which was helpful because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. They actually created something for me based on what I like. There was plenty of seating, so no worries there on this particular day but I can imagine it could get crowded on the weekend. I'm a fan.“

“This place is a must-visit while you’re in Indianapolis. The menu is very odd for a traditional steakhouse, but the food was all very good. The steaks are charred a little too much for my taste, but also very good. I felt the prices were a little high for the steak quality so only 4 stars. Excellent service and atmosphere. “A nice bar/lounge for cocktails & conversation at Bottleworks! We enjoy this place, but on last visit, we had just come out of a company Christmas ? DInner across the hall, with a couple of us bringing our near empty wine glasses. When we finished them, we ordered more & continued using the nicer glasses (with stems) from our hotel dinner. A bar tender at Sundry & Vice implied we were bringing in beverages from outside when we had in fact purchased all new beverages from Sundry & had the tab to prove it. It was an unnecessary, unexpected, uncomfortable situation. We had about 10 people there for hours on a Wed evening, by far the bar's biggest advocate that evening. We ask they look at the bigger picture & not worry about the small stuff from their supportive patrons.“

“Another Sahm gem. Turner's gives you all the Friends vibes, where everyone knows your name. It's a great spot for an affordable drink. They don't have local spirits which is a bummer but they do have local beer and cider. They have $1 hotdogs for my carnivore friends and cheap chips that aren't healthy for you at all but will cure your evening munchies. The cocktails are superior though and if only they had some local whiskey for them they'd make my top 5 old-fashioned list. But they do have good ice cubes and good bourbon cherries. Plus if you get here before 8 you can order from Julietta's taco shop next door. They often have live music or trivia, there's pool and other card games to play. It is a bit chilly in here during the winter with little soft surfaces so bring a cozy sweater. Summer is wonderful as the garage doors open wide.“
