“I have to admit, Htaw Metta was not our first choice on a Sunday evening, but our favorite Thai place was closed and the reviews were great so we gave it a try and so glad we did, a new go-to spot! We ordered takeout and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. Staff was very polite and friendly, even at the end of the day. Interior is pretty basic, don’t expect anything fancy. We ordered the banana fritters and chicken spring rolls for appetizers and both were good. The entrees is where things went to 5-stars! The Pad kra Prao with chicken was outstanding, perfect mix of vegetables and protein, super-flavorful, and spot on for spice level! Same for the yellow curry with chicken. Portions seemed fairly generous, we both had seconds with enough left over for one more meal from each. As with other Thai restaurants, prices seem a bit steeped compared to typical Chinese, but on par with other Thai restaurants and love that they have some Burmese options too. One word of caution, if you’re like us, it’s so darn good that you just may eat more than you planned!!“
“The wandering Canadian here! The Slippery Noodle is one of the premiere places to go in Indy! So many amazing memories have been made here, in the past and today. The food, the atmosphere, the staff are all amazing. Tatum ensured our rowdy crew behaved and had the time of our lives. Thank you!“
“I've been going here for years. The food is amazing. Love the beef and pork rice noodle combination dishes and the shrimp rolls with peanut sauce. Kids love the fried rice! Pricing is really good and Ha is the best! She always takes good care of us. Just wish they had a second location on the westside!!!“
“Went here for lunch and had an absolutely incredible meal. I ordered the Vietnamese Soup and the Sambal Fried Rice. Both were delicious!!! The Sambal Fried rice was especially tasty and had the perfect amount of spice. I will definitely be returning and re-ordering both items next time! Highly recommend :)“
“Thai Thai is located in the former Sawasdee site. We tried them for dinner for the first time this evening. I personally rate it as the best Thai food I have tasted in the north side of this town.We ordered a small bowl of Thai noodle soup with tofu, Yum Woon Sen (glass noodle salad with pork slices), Basil duck stir fry, Vegetables lover with pork. All came with rice (See photos) .All dishes were cooked with very fresh ingredients, the pork and duck were tender and NOT overcooked like many other Thai in town. More importantly, their sauce is NEVER sweet like many other Thai joints in town. All in all, a very pleasant discovery after so many other Thai disappointments in this town. We will go back and also recommend this restaurant to our friends and in here.[Disclaimer: they did not ask me to say all these good words. These are our honest but critical assessments].“
“This gem is wonderful! I have a friend who is absolutely obsessed with the place. When they first opened, I lived in Braeburn VIllage...total walking distance, but for some reason I just never felt comfortable going or even eating in. My bowl of pho was so big! It was under 20$, but the amount of pho could easily feed four people and you could add appetizers instead of everyone ordering a meal. The atmosphere is awesome. Quiet, relaxing. The staff were very pleasant. They came out to several tables around us and showed the people how to eat the items that they had ordered. I would go again! I had the chicken pineapple pho and it was perfect!“
“Initially, I enjoyed the pictured basil fried rice on a chill and gloomy Saturday after an impromptu trek for a new and intriguing cologne. The atmosphere was so: quaint, inviting, yet soothing and undemanded. I exiled my self-indulgence for a moment to invite wife out to partake in a Sunday evening soiree of authentically spiced Thai cuisine at my new found secret....she too concluded, "this is some of the best in the city!"“
“I've always been a fan of Noodles and Company, especially the concept of having many different cuisines all at one location. Prices have gone up recently, making the value a bit questionable, but the food is still good. It does seem like the portions have gotten smaller recently as well. The Japanese pan noodles are my favorite option, and one of the cheaper items on the menu. Service here was decently friendly, and the location is clean and spacious on the inside.“
“First time at Modita last night. We absolutely loved everything. We ordered dim sum and a couple of entrees, honestly, next time we might just order dim sum. All of our entrees we very tasty, and the dim sum is perfect for sharing. Highlights, Edamame (love the chili flake twist), Bao Bun (WOW), Chicken Potsticker, Pork Soup Dumplings. Great service, we'll be back.“
