“Delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine hidden in plain sight on the South End. The atmosphere is quite casual and spartan, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Try the Bún bò Huế traditional style, you won't regret it!“
“A rare find! It's hard to find Thai food (in any city) that measures up to the experience of eating Thai cuisine in Thailand. This sure does! Chef/owner Kat is welcoming and very knowledgeable and passionate about the food she serves her customers. The ambiance is delightful and warm, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I can't wait to go back and recommend everyone check it out!“
“I forgot to get pictures because as soon as the food got there I scarfed it all down ? the food was presented nicely and had amazing authentic flavor (almost exactly like out of my mother's kitchen). I had the chicken pho with no spice (I just used the sriracha and brown sauce given because i was also using the broth to feed my baby) and my hubby had the beef pho with spice level 4. His pho broth was nicely spiced and had a very warm mouth feel (although if you're sensitive to spicy I recommend a 1 or 2 spice level). My chicken pho broth was so clear and flavorful with just the right amount of herbs and noodle to broth ratio. Also obsessed with the green papaya salad, although I wish it had more crab/shrimp paste in it. I do understand that some people are sensitive to the smells though so I can't blame the restaurant for lightening the strong flavors for more sensitive customers. The thai tea was sooooo good too! Highly recommend it! The server was so sweet and polite. The owner was absolutely adorable! We're definitely gonna visit again when we get the chance to!“
“Without paying attention to the time I walked in 15 minutes before they were closing, they didn't bet an eye, I ordered the calamari appetizer with chili sauce and the Panang curry with shrimp. The food was incredible, without a question some of the best Thai I've had in a very long time.If you're in the area definitely stop by, if you're not in the area make the effort to take the trip and come here to eat. You will not be disappointed.“
“one of our favorites! Service is friendly and fast, and kisses to the chefs, we appreciate all the love you in put in every recipe. In addition to the flavor explosion, we really appreciate the freshness of vegetables, the large portions, and the Thai tea is the best one we've ever had. Always a satisfying experience.“
“Thai noodle is my favorite restaurant in Louisville hands down! If I could rate this restaurant 10 stars I would. The owners are very nice and personable to all guests. The service is always quick. The food always come out HOT and with FLAVOR. Wait time for the food is always short. Would recommend to anyone. I have invited friends for both lunch and dinner here who are not familiar with traditional Thai dishes and they all found something they enjoy on the menu. Thanks Thai Noodles! -Andy“
“Man this place is so underrated- the looks are deceiving with this joint, Tony I belive owner and main guy worker always smiling and super positive- and this man can COOK. Never fails with portions he is fast and consistent and he is an amazing cook.highly recommend to give this place a try .Parking: Pretty safe, have never had a problem“
“I love Thai food and have been to many good Thai places across the country throughout my travels. I don't know how much I can speak to authenticity, but I know what my tongue and palette like . At Simply Thai, I got the chicken pineapple fried rice and chicken kaow soi, both spice level 3 (out of 5). I liked the pineapple fried rice. It was very good and came in a pineapple which was cool. Portion size was decent too. The kaow soi was alright. The curry was quite watery and the noodles were wheat noodles. This kept it from really picking up the tastes of the curry, which made it a little blander than I would have liked. Simply Thai is always busy, but the servers are very nice and attentive despite the busyness. It's got a lot of seating, but once again is always busy, so you have to go early to beat the rush! They do, however, usually have extra seating available at the bar even if you don't order a drink, as long as you're over 21. The restaurant has a great environment with a lot of cultural decorations that spice up the place. All in all, Simply Thai is simply a good place to go for some good Thai food, as long as you don't mind a wait!“
“Everything I've had here has been so good. Favorites are Crab Rangoon, spring rolls, green curry, pad kee mow, and pad Thai.If you love spicy food like I do, this is the place to get. The "Thai Hot" is seriously hot and does not lose any flavor to the heat.“
