“Adorable place with such cheerful service. You can tell they LOVE what they do. Paninis were full of meat and cheese and the bread was delicious, soft with a good crunch. Chicken Enchilada soup was very flavorful and my drink. If you are a fountain drink lover, this is the place for you. Fabulous Coca Cola with the small crushed ice! Yum!”
“I’m not usually a seafood fan. My husband had gone to this restaurant for lunch and couldn’t wait to take me for supper. We walked in and were greeted by the waiter and he made me feel like an old friend that he hadn’t seen in years. The food…. THE FOOD!!!! Sooo delicious!I had perch, shrimp, fries, hush puppies (I haven’t had these for a really long time and was excited to try them) and the best garlic Texas toast.I can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend this restaurant, great place to eat!Kid-friendliness: I had my two granddaughters ( ages 10 & 6) with us. In our family, when it is your birthday you get to choose where you get to eat your birthday dinner. Both girls said that they wanted to come here for their birthday dinner.”
“My kids and I look forward to every trip here! The treats are delicious, the staff are welcoming, and the atmosphere is just so calm and happy. The staff are friendly, and patient while helping my kids make their selections!”
“I'm from out of town and my girlfriend is from England and she said the food was absolutely delicious! I had the fish and chips and it was banging! Black bean dip, out of this world! Lots of really good beers and really good food. Highly recommend”
“He has remodeled this place to look like it originally did (SUPER close) but I ordered a catfish sandwich and sweet potato fries. Amazing crunch on the fish and the sandwich was huge I had to unhinge my jaw so to speak to take a bite. The fries crunchy and a salty sweet flavor with carmel glaze and I think cinnamon. It was so good! I had lunch and dessert really. The sandwich was great but those sweet potato fries OMG I would go get a double order just to have. The owners are nice and sweet I'm glad their outside my building I can walk to get lunch. Very comfortable small and quiet atmosphere just what you need to relax on lunch. I will be back very soon!”
“We come here once a month for trivia and we are always impressed with the food and the wait staff. Everyone is super welcoming and kind and helpful!Tonight we had Allison as a server and she was great!”
“We got 2 fish baskets to go. Haven't been here in years-glad we made it back. The fish was very good & they give you plenty. The only negative comment was the prices. The dinner didn't come with any sides- we had to pay extra for ff & cole slaw. It was $38 for 2 of us.”
“I recently stopped in to order a pizza to go. The bartender was pleasant and helped me with the menu. The cool was very friendly. It took 15 minutes to make my pizza. It was delicious. I’ll definitely be back again.”
“If you haven't been to Hoosier Routes, you absolutely need to go. The food delicious, Severs are very attentive. The restaurant is very clean. You are greeted immediately. Your food comes out hot and so delicious! GO TO HOOSIER ROUTES”
“Came here with my family during our reunion weekend and everyone had a wonderful time! Great selection, awesome atmosphere and good prices! So glad something like this exists in Gas City! We’ll be back next year. :)”
“Just had a very nice experience with the Marion sister location (who is set up as a "person" instead of business on fb), Imagine Burgers Express Grubhub didn't have a driver available so an employer brought me the food himself!”
“I always enjoy eating at Culver's. I honestly believe that their chicken sandwiches and chicken strips are way better than any other restaurant around (they are better than Chick-fil-A also). The variety in shakes are great, too. This Culver's location is one of my favorite restaurants to visit.”
“This place is truely a gem it's well worth going out of your way for.To add to the fun, park on 400 at the trailhead and walk exactly one mile down the sweester switch trail to the ice cream shop and then walk a mile back to your car. Beautiful sights to see on the walk.”
“We've only been once, but the food was wonderful and the owner fantastic! He took us on a house tour and shared fascinating information about the engineering/architecture, design, materials and history of the building. He is delightful! Our server was very casual (in dress & manner--a bit odd in a more formal setting), but provided what we needed.”
“The place is a small quaint restaurant. Service was top-notch, and the food was excellent. It was like eating home cooked food. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. I had the blueberry pancakes with bacon and the wife had fried potatoes with sausage gravy with scrambled eggs and a biscuit.”
“I just love this please . Their BBQ is amazing and so flavorful. My wife and myself always get the 3 meats and 3 sides platter. It comes with a lot of food.Their collard greens are one of the best I've had in my life and I've had plenty. Their brisket is amazing. They don't give you the fatty brisket they give you the good stuff. Ribs are also spectacular. Their BBQ sauce is on point. I didn't get it this time but their green apple slushy is pretty good also. Service is fast and friendly. They have live music some days which is nice. Thank me later because their BBQ will always bring you back”
“most places you have to order extra toppings in your ice cream, Milkshake, Razzle etc. But, not here. now, I'm not saying this is a bad thing However, my last 2 visits I had to Add Ice Cream to my razzle when I got home. The amount of candy and flavoring was such that you didn't enjoy the "ice Cream". Again, I'm not complaining and I know most People want that. on the Positive note...I still have Sophies for tonight since I added Ice cream to what I bought last night, That's a good things to me ! The Gal's Working didn't see us for a few So, I knocked on the window and they come immediately to help and were very polite and courteous to our needs. Great Job Girls, Thank You, We will return... I pray you will have "Birthday Cake" Ice cream before End of season!”
“Cute place and the service was great but my pulled pork had way too many hard pieces in it….there were so many pieces that I could not eat. The flavor was good but it was not tender or naturally juicy. The sweet barbecue sauce was good. The beans are good but very sweet. The coleslaw is tasty.I would have to go back again to try their pulled pork to see if that happens again but there are so many other BBQ places and other kinds of restaurants that I would want to go to first.”
“I am working in the area and El Taco has become a part of our weekly routine. The homemade chips are always fresh and a little queso blanco takes them from really good to great.I am a boring eater so honestly I usually eat a burrito asada and it consistently comes out great.Service is definately a highlight though, as our orders are always taken quickly. Drinks, chips, and our meals arrive quickly also and drinks are monitored well for refills. The place is in a small, multibusiness building so it is pretty authentic Mexico and not the production we are accustomed to in the typical Mexican restaurant.Worth being a repeat customer.”
“Loved having lunch here. I ordered the 8” pizza - thin crust - with Hamburger, Green Olives & Red Onion. Delicious as well as a great size for me to finish. I also got a sweet tea as well as a garden salad. (Trying to be healthy) The service - even with a large group in the building - was top notch. I’d recommend eating here anytime. Restaurant and bathroom was clean, so that’s a plus.”
“This business is closed. We visited this morning and someone came out to our car and told us they had to close but they could order coffee beans. We went to Lola's Inn and enjoyed a wonderful experience.”
“I walked in with two kids just minutes before 6:30. I had checked hours on Maps and they are listed at 8/9pm Tuesday-Thursday, but they had a sign on the door that I missed stating that closing is actually 6:30pm Tuesday-Thursday. I felt so bad for the guy behind the counter, but JoRel was so kind, patient, and accommodating. He spent time making sure the kids got want they wanted and even showed some creativity for the kid that wanted chocolate syrup on a cone. His solution saved my car since we obviously took it to go, but JoRel never made us feel rushed. I wish I would have been aware of the updated hours, but JoRel (and the great ice-cream) made it a good experience.Kid-friendliness: Very patient staff when ordering with kids that are shaky on what to get :)”
“We had dinner on 3-8-2024.Pan Seared GrouperCrabcakes and their Brussel Sprouts. To say it was delicious understates our experience. It was perfection. We sat at the main bar while waiting on our table and the bartender was quite knowledgeable and friendly. Our server was excellent! We had a great evening and sure enjoyed our visit.Keep up the good work, you definitely have a great thing going! We will definitely be returning and putting the word out there.Again,Thank you.”
“Great food, friendly bartender, and pull tabs. The wings and pork chops were phenomenal. The locals were friendly and accepting of out- of -towners. I will take a 4 hour drive to go back.”
“We were out of town there for a ballgame. We were told about this place and we tried it. Oh my gosh the best pizza we have had in awhile. The crust was just right and toppings were perfect. Plus we like the smaller cuts. Also had bread stixs and they were good. Skinnier than what you normally get bet we thought they were better not so much dough. Service was great and friendly very clean inside. Wish you were closer we would order more often.Parking: It was dark and the lit seemed to have holes in some areas.”
“They are always done in good time if they don't have something they have no problem substituting. Their food is always so goodWheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately it is a little away from the door but it's worth it”
“Service was good. Biscuits and gravy were good, but needed to be warmed up. They do NOT serve any meatloaf so disregard that picture above. Basically breakfast items only. For those who need to know, this is a bar and there is a slight smell of cigarettes inside. I assume they allow smoking. No children may enter.”
“What a nice surprise, after living/moving to Wabash a couple of years ago. There aren't as many "finer" dining options since we left Fort Wayne and it is nice to have another "nicer" option nearby. Excellent service (Tim was wonderful), the bar staff and the chef came to our table multiple times to ensure everything was to our liking. Beautiful location/building and a good local vibe - and if you are into having a nice meal/environment and watching some sports, I could see it being a good spot for that. There were four of us, who are pretty picky when it comes to dining options, and none of us had a complaint, which is pretty rare :).”
“It's a small town cafe, with a small town feel. Very friendly, fast, and courteous service.I've eaten lunch, but mostly breakfast and enjoyed everything I've tried there. Breaded tenderloin is awesome, but the omelettes are ginormous, filling, and taste great. I can't knock anything on this place, give it a shot.”
“Ran across Kammy's by complete accident but happy we did . We had 1 breakfast order that was cooked exactly like it was ordered. Breaded chicken sandwich was good as well . Chef salad could have had eggs on it . The best part of our experience was our " waiter " he was either the owners son or grandson and he did an excellent job . It was nice to see a young man that was so responsible and willing to work . We will definitely stop by next time we go though there again”
