“Authentic and delicious!! Great prices ! Love this place !!!”

“I still vividly remember the day Sokuri Restaurant first opened in Kokomo. It may not be so special occasion if you live in a big city, but for me, the thrill and joy that this very first Korean restaurant in town did bring to me back then was truly enormous.

I was born and raised in Korea, and grew up with Korean food until my early 30s, so I wanted so badly more than anyone else for a Korean restaurant to open in Kokomo. -- One of the hardest things about living alone here for me was not loneliness, but FOOD (along with English).

Thankfully, Sokuri's dishes were surprisingly great, authentic, clean, and of course so delicious.  Most importantly, they don't seem to use too much salt or artificial seasoning, so it tasted classy nostalgic just like my mom cooking at home for family.  It's obviously not easy to find such an integrous/conscientious restaurant in Indiana, so I'm really grateful for having Sokuri in my neighborhood.

“Fantastic food! We were in from Rhode Island for the races at Kokomo Speedway. We got a tip from the waitress at breakfast and she was right on. We got the brisket and sausage. Moist and smoky. The brisket had the flavor ring and cut with a fork. The portions were big and the prices reasonable. Only two guys work here and they were both very personable. We are experts in eating BBQ and this is some of the best we ever had.”

“Love love love this place, it brings back so many child hood memories when it use to be downtown and my Papa Bear was very good friends with the original OG ❤️ now his daughter runs it and it's still as great as ever. My Papa Bear use to walk right in like he was part owner or something, lol and make our food and get our drinks. These are wonderful memories that I will forever cherish!!! Thank you!”

“Really a great place to eat a nice dinner without breaking the bank. With 2 main dishes, both uncharged due to extras, an appetizer, 2 drinks, 2 alcoholic drinks, and a tip, a total of $97 was spent. The chicken was so tender, I could pull it apart with a fork. Honestly delicious and the service was amazing. Our drinks were kept full and the server checked in regularly enough to not feel like we were overwhelmed or left wanting. The gentleman at the register didn’t ask if it was my first time an what he would recommend for a first try to really hook me but he didn’t try to rush me or try to sell me anything I didn’t want or need so I commend him for that but he was very friendly definitely would recommend that in the future the cashier/Server ask if it’s someone’s first time there also recommend their favorite Bowl or smoothie as to better connect with people . “My wife and I went here last Saturday night. We had the prime rib dinner. It was juicy and tender. Fresh salad too. It was better than Texas roadhouse. We would visit again!”

“I cannot say enough good things about this place! My grandparents used to take me here when I was barely old enough to walk (this was mid 1980’s). We would come in the south entrance to sit… because it was the smoking section!! Their chicken and noodles are AMAZING! My grandmother claimed she “helped” them doctor up the recipe to taste and look better. Although both my grandparents are no longer living, and I live 1,000 miles away, I think of this place often. I plan on taking a trip next year to good ol’ Kokomo… and I will be bringing my husband and daughter for their very first taste of Breakfast House! I cannot wait to share this amazing place with them!”

“Hawaiian pizza any of there pizzas! the cheese they changed there cheese to a real pizza cheese that is has flavor it's melty so it stays on the pizza! the lumber jack it's the right potion of ham salami turkey and roast beef that what gives it the flavor every time you bite into it!”

Every morning we stop there and we get the same thing a chi latte two orders of bread sticks no cheese and normally a coney dog , she always remembers our order always gets it right and never forgets our sons candy ! She is by far your stores all around BEST employee!!!!! The sweet girl that works her shift with her is so helpful as well ! They are a great team and have really made our experience ! We are so disappointed every time we go to the other location we get burnt food drinks made wrong or a hassle ! I dumped two drinks made at the other store the other day ! “I got the 4 piece Box and it was very good. I've been to this location several times now and the food has been consistent every time. Expect about a 5 minute wait for your food but the food is well worth the wait and staff has been very friendly and very polite every time!”

“Today was the first time I'd been able to swing into a Steak 'n Shake since they have started doing their fries in Tallow. Swung in specifically for that reason and was not disappointed. Fries were extraordinarily crispy and flavorful. Only thing lacking was that they are always too thin I think, but you take the good where you can get it.
Noticed that they had switched in-store ordering strictly over to kiosk and I'm a bit disappointed in that but it did have an upside today. None of them seem to be working so the young lady behind the counter took my order and made sure I had everything I needed.

The portions of fried rice and fried noodles are huge. If you are not a food fighter, order a small size.
The standard menu is $7, a small size is about $5, and there is a further discount for the lunch special. In the case of chicken, rice is also provided.”

My beef was pretty good, but my husband said the gyro was not good because they put grilled onions instead of raw onions on it, and that messed up the whole sandwich. “I was meeting some family members whom I hadn't seen in a while. We chose Applebee's as we wanted a place that would be relaxing and have good food. It had been several years since I'd been to this location since we live in a different town. We were seated within a couple of minutes of arriving. Everything was served fairly quickly, and the food was hot. We were in and out within an hour. All in all, it was an enjoyable day.
