“Authentic and delicious!! Great prices ! Love this place !!!”

“I still vividly remember the day Sokuri Restaurant first opened in Kokomo. It may not be so special occasion if you live in a big city, but for me, the thrill and joy that this very first Korean restaurant in town did bring to me back then was truly enormous.

I was born and raised in Korea, and grew up with Korean food until my early 30s, so I wanted so badly more than anyone else for a Korean restaurant to open in Kokomo. -- One of the hardest things about living alone here for me was not loneliness, but FOOD (along with English).

Thankfully, Sokuri's dishes were surprisingly great, authentic, clean, and of course so delicious.  Most importantly, they don't seem to use too much salt or artificial seasoning, so it tasted classy nostalgic just like my mom cooking at home for family.  It's obviously not easy to find such an integrous/conscientious restaurant in Indiana, so I'm really grateful for having Sokuri in my neighborhood.

“I had the shrimp scampi and it was good, not great. For dessert I had the chocolate bomba and it was fantastic. I've had many meals here and it's always good to great. Good selection of beer and wine, they have hard liquor too. I highly recommend Carmela's.”

“😁Belated combined anniversary/Mother's Day lunch with my wife on a Tuesday. The company was exceptional, of course, but Red Lobster has no control over that. ;) Our host Nicholas not only seated us promptly but checked back at least twice to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Very pleasant man. Food was superb. I'm more of a steak guy, but like seafood for an occasional change of pace. I ordered a combined shrimp scampi/popcorn shrimp/flounder lunch special but, not being a fan of scampi, asked if I could substitute a double order of flounder. This was accomplished without incident. My wife ordered a broiled/fried shrimp combo. We were both very satisfied with both quality and quantity. Expertly prepared, and large portions provided leftovers that we are looking forward to attacking at a later time. And of course the biscuits are legendary! (The last time I ate there several years ago I was not impressed with the biscuits. As I recall they reminded me of hockey pucks! LOL 1000% better this time.) Our server Logan was one of the best we've had in a long time. Attentive but not intrusive. She supplied everything we wanted/needed promptly, yet allowed us to enjoy our special time together without unnecessary interuption. At one point I noticed that she had brought me a second drink without my even realizing she had done so. It just sort of magically materialized! It was a joy, not a burden, to leave a nice tip to reward such service. Thank you so much, Logan. An overall excellent experience with zero complaints. We'll definitely be back!”

“Fantastic food! We were in from Rhode Island for the races at Kokomo Speedway. We got a tip from the waitress at breakfast and she was right on. We got the brisket and sausage. Moist and smoky. The brisket had the flavor ring and cut with a fork. The portions were big and the prices reasonable. Only two guys work here and they were both very personable. We are experts in eating BBQ and this is some of the best we ever had.”

With 2 main dishes, both uncharged due to extras, an appetizer, 2 drinks, 2 alcoholic drinks, and a tip, a total of $97 was spent. The chicken was so tender, I could pull it apart with a fork. The gentleman at the register didn’t ask if it was my first time an what he would recommend for a first try to really hook me but he didn’t try to rush me or try to sell me anything I didn’t want or need so I commend him for that but he was very friendly definitely would recommend that in the future the cashier/Server ask if it’s someone’s first time there also recommend their favorite Bowl or smoothie as to better connect with people . We would come in the south entrance to sit… because it was the smoking section!! Their chicken and noodles are AMAZING! My grandmother claimed she “helped” them doctor up the recipe to taste and look better. Although both my grandparents are no longer living, and I live 1,000 miles away, I think of this place often. I plan on taking a trip next year to good ol’ Kokomo… and I will be bringing my husband and daughter for their very first taste of Breakfast House! “Today was the first time I'd been able to swing into a Steak 'n Shake since they have started doing their fries in Tallow. Swung in specifically for that reason and was not disappointed. Fries were extraordinarily crispy and flavorful. Only thing lacking was that they are always too thin I think, but you take the good where you can get it.
Noticed that they had switched in-store ordering strictly over to kiosk and I'm a bit disappointed in that but it did have an upside today. None of them seem to be working so the young lady behind the counter took my order and made sure I had everything I needed.

“I can almost see this Rally's from my front door, so it's super-convenient for me. Probably TOO convenient, as I eat there often. I've been frequenting this location for 13 years now and not one time has my order been wrong, or an item forgotten, or the food not piping hot. It's absolutely stellar. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Fantastic food, service and quality.Best hot apple pies! Best fries! Best cheeseburgers!I do wish the owners would get the lot re-paved and all the dips and potholes fixed, though. It's rough!”

The portions of fried rice and fried noodles are huge. If you are not a food fighter, order a small size.
The standard menu is $7, a small size is about $5, and there is a further discount for the lunch special. In the case of chicken, rice is also provided.”

My beef was pretty good, but my husband said the gyro was not good because they put grilled onions instead of raw onions on it, and that messed up the whole sandwich. It had been several years since I'd been to this location since we live in a different town. We were seated within a couple of minutes of arriving. Everything was served fairly quickly, and the food was hot. We were in and out within an hour. All in all, it was an enjoyable day.
