I really enjoyed the food. The wasabi peas were delightful. The Reuben and Jalapeno Popper Sandwich were very tasty.

I had the curried chickpeas on sourdough toast with tomato and house-made potato chips. Very good!! My husband had chili dogs and tomato soup. Also very good.

Excellent food and beer. We showed up on bingo night, and everyone was having a great time. Several families brought kids and they have a kids menu. The menu was vegan, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. My wife had the falafel sandwich and I had the BLT. The kids there seemed to be having a great time with the bingo. Give this place a try. You won't regret it!

Such creative and amazing plant based food, you really won’t miss meat in these dishes. Beers are very good,, great patio too!

Favorite brewery in town. Wait staff is always super friendly, beer is excellent, and the atmosphere is really welcoming. Definitely worth checking out!

My daughter who's an omnivore brought me here bc I recently became WFPB, and we both loved this. Great food choices. The Felafel sandwich was our fave.

Update 3/2023. My group of 6 friends ate a late dinner (arrived at 8pm) here on a Saturday night. After ordering our food, it took well over an hour for our food to arrive. My hypothesis is that they have only a few cooktops so maybe they have to make one sandwich at a time? Or maybe they were abnormally understaffed? Because of this, most our food (which was supposed to be warm) was room temp. The food was still delicious. I will be back again to support this great local business and eat great vegan food. But I don’t think I will bring a larger group with me again. Original review: June 2021 We will definitely be back!! I had the BBQ jackfruit sandwich ($12). The sourdough bread was delicious, the jackfruit was good, but the vegan cheese wasn’t melted at all unfortunately. The order came with homemade chips, which were soo good. My order was very filling. The person I ate with had the curried chickpea salad sandwich ($10), which they would easily give 5 stars. They thought it resembled an egg salad sandwich in taste. I think we’ll both be ordering the egg salad sandwich next time! Great place for Lafayette! Updated from previous review on 2023-03-06

Finally, a bar that's my speed. It's well lit, the music isn't too loud, there are board games available to play, and nerdy decor all around. We showed up on bingo night by chance -- it was free to play. The prizes weren't much, but they were cute. A couple at another table brought young kids, and I might do that myself another time. Oh, and the all-vegetarian menu is fantastic. I'll definitely come again.

Small but unique spot with all veg food and great drinks. Worth a visit

I love this place (as much for the crazy good vegan and other culinary treats as the double ipas)! Jason and Heather dream up the smartest and fun events, from Geek Night (waaaat, such a fun way to talk with experts on topics ranging from agronomy and flowers to yoga and entrepreneurship) to Game night. Go visit with them-you'll be happy you did.

I love Escape Velocity Brewing and always stop in on my way to/from Chicago. All of the food is so delicious, especially the falafel sandwich. Wonderful Vegetarian and Vegan offerings that are great for everyone with a nice, chill atmosphere. Don’t miss it!

We started off with the chili cheese nachos, and they were seriously some of the best nachos I've ever had (including ones with real cheese). We couldn't get enough! I had the garlic parmasean "wings" and they were excellent. We came in a Wednesday, and to our surprise, it was bingo night. What a fun addition to the fun. The service was very friendly and helpful.

This is a must try being the only fully vegan restaurant in the city. Staff is mostly vegan or vegetarian and they really care about the customers. They’re friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The environment is very appealing. With fun decor, space references and board/card games they’ve created a place suited for everyone, even kids. The beer is good and the food is great. Lots of options, tons of flavor and they stick to the vegan way! I recommend the hummus, chili nachos, truffle melt, falafel and really anything. They also do a great job with their specials and keeping the menu changing. #Veganuary
